Klee has access to a number of animation cancels that allow her to deal damage with her talents faster than normal.
Her A1 grants her "Explosive Spark" stacks when she does a Normal Attack, Skill or Burst that when consumed, give her Charged Attacks extra DMG% and not consume Stamina.
Hexerei effects give her up to 150% DMG to her Enhanced Charged Attacks - this effect should always be active at max stacks.
Her optimal combos include:
- N1C/N3 in teams where hexerei resonance is active
- N1C/N1W in teams where it isn't
Klee is a Pyro character who requires great positioning and team coordination to maximize her DPS potential. Being extremely squishy and prone to interruptions, she benefits from the use of a shielder, although this can come at the cost of total DPS. Her best teams currently focus on Overload with Chevreuse, which provides amazing stagger that helps her immensely with not getting hit.
Regarding Weapon Choices:
- The Widsith at R5 performs closer to Tulaytullah's Remembrance, but Klee cannot reliably utilize the Elemental Mastery buff.
- Solar Pearl at R5 performs slightly worse than The Widsith at R5.
- Flowing Purity calculations assume you clear the BoL.
- Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds assumed 12 DMG% averaged.
- Kagura's Verity assumed 2 stacks on passive.
- Tulaytullah's Remembrance averaged 25 Normal Attack DMG%.
- Surf's Up has dynamic stacking.
- Flowing Purity at R5 can perform as well as Tulaytullah's Remembrance when paired with Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy at max stacks.
Regarding Artifact Sets:
- Lavawalker (4) is a viable set due to Klee's constant Pyro application, although her kit makes it harder to utilize Vaporize and Melt reactions.
- Desert Pavillion Chronicle (4) is a viable set as Klee naturally uses her Charged Attack early on in the rotation.
- Echoes of an Offering (4) has a 50.2% proc chance on average, giving Flat DMG to her Normal Attack, making it competitive to Lavawalker (4) and easier to farm.
- Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy (4) becomes Klee's second best set when using Flowing Purity, but is not recommended to farm for unless you already have the set.
