Your Arknights: Endfield Steam Progress Survives the Pioneer Test

If you were picked for the Arknights: Endfield Steam Pioneer Test, your progress actually counts for something. The playtest opens September 15, 2026 (server time) on PC, and there is no data wipe. Every level, item, and purchase made during the test stays with you into the full release. That is a rare deal for a pre-launch test, and it changes how you should approach those five days of play.

What the test gives you

The Steam Pioneer Test is a limited-access event for players who received an invitation. It runs on live servers, which means the state of the game is close to what you will see at launch. Accounts sync across platforms too, so your Gryphline Account becomes the thread that ties your progress together on PC, mobile, and anywhere else the game shows up.

Here is the quick version of what matters:

  • Access is limited to invited players with a Steam product code
  • In-game purchases are enabled during the test
  • No data wipe, so everything carries over
  • Servers supported: Asia Server and Americas / Europe Server
  • Login rewards: Oroberyl x180, T-Creds x16000, Elementary Cognitive Carrier x15
  • Minimum specs: Windows 10 64-bit, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060

Redeeming your Steam code

Selected players get their product code through the email address they registered with. Activating it takes a few steps in the Steam client:

  1. Open Steam and sign in.
  2. Click Add a Game in the bottom-left corner.
  3. Choose Activate a Product on Steam.
  4. Type in your code and follow the on-screen prompts.
  5. Find Arknights: Endfield in your Library and download it.

Each code works exactly once. Double-check that you are logged into the right Steam account before you redeem, because there is no undo. Sharing or selling your code can create account problems, so keep it to yourself.

One thing worth watching: product codes can contain lookalike characters. A zero and the letter O, or a one and a lowercase L, are easy to mix up. If your code fails, compare each character carefully before you contact support.

Linking your Gryphline Account

Your first launch of the Steam build asks you to connect your Steam account to a Gryphline Account. If you already have one, pick Log Into Existing Account & Link and your progress from other platforms comes along. New players choose Register & Link to create an account on the spot.

Here is where you need to pay attention. Progress does not transfer between the Asia Server and the Americas / Europe Server. Choose the server where your existing character lives, or you will be starting fresh on the wrong side of the world.

A Gryphline Account made through Steam works on other platforms, and an account created elsewhere works on Steam. As long as you sign in with the same Gryphline Account, your save data and purchases sync everywhere.

Purchases and what carries over

The Steam version takes payments through Steam’s own checkout. Anything you buy during the playtest stays with your account after launch, and it shows up on other platforms too. You could top up on Steam and spend those funds on mobile later, which is convenient if one platform is easier to pay on.

One limitation: the Steam build is not managed through the GRYPHLINK launcher. Download and update it exclusively through Steam, or the client may not recognize the game files at all.

Before the test starts

A little prep now saves you from a rough first day. Work through this checklist before September 15:

  • Verify your email and redeem your Steam code early, before the rush.
  • Clear at least 90GB of storage. The install takes 50GB, and extraction needs another 40GB on top.
  • Link your Gryphline Account to Steam in advance if you have existing progress.
  • Plan to log in for at least 5 days total, since that is the threshold for the full reward set.

The login rewards

Logging in on five separate days during the test earns you Oroberyl x180, T-Creds x16000, and Elementary Cognitive Carrier x15. Those items arrive through in-game mail after the Steam version officially launches. Because there is no data wipe, the head start you build in the test is permanent. The extra currency and materials give you a small cushion for the early game, which is a solid reason to make those five logins happen.

The build is still being optimized, so expect the occasional bug or crash. If something breaks, report it through in-game customer support or the official email address. That feedback loop is part of what a Pioneer Test is for, and it helps the team polish the Steam version before launch.
