KFC China deal drops ZZZ Angels of Delusion merch and in-game codes July 24

If you live in China and play Zenless Zone Zero, July 24 is circled on your calendar. That is the day HoYoverse and KFC China start their Angels of Delusion collaboration, and the rewards are split between real-world merch and in-game codes.

The promotion is exclusive to KFC locations in China. Proxies outside the region will have to watch from the sidelines, but the bundle details are worth knowing anyway.

Two meal combos, two price points

KFC is selling two separate sets. The Angels Descending combo runs 55 CNY, or about $8.10. It comes with pins, backing paper, and a fan-shaped display stick. The packaging is pink and shows chibi versions of the Angels of Delusion crew.

The pricier option is the Bangboo Recommendation set at 59.9 CNY, roughly $8.85. That one swaps the pins for a Bangboo strap and a shopping bag. Both combos are limited to what KFC has in stock, so supplies will not last forever.

What the exchange codes unlock

Buying either meal in person gets you a code you can redeem in Zenless Zone Zero. The in-game package includes three Angels of Delusion themed items, one title, 30,000 Dennies, and five Senior Investigation Logs. That is a decent chunk of resources for anyone grinding through the endgame.

HoYoverse has not explained exactly how the codes are distributed. The official materials skip that detail, so players will need to ask at the register or check KFC’s own instructions.

Summer Days Meet and Greet pop-up

One day after the KFC launch, a separate event opens in Shanghai. The Summer Days Meet and Greet runs from July 25 to July 31 at The Ring Live Galaxy Midtown. It is designed to feel like a real idol fan event, with games and activities centered on the Angels of Delusion.

Again, the specifics are thin. HoYoverse has not published what activities are planned or whether entry requires a ticket or a meal receipt. Anyone planning to attend should watch official channels for updates.

What the collaboration says about ZZZ right now

HoYoverse running a real-world promotion for a faction rather than a single character is unusual. The Angels of Delusion are an idol group within the game, and KFC is treating them like one: themed merch, a pop-up fan meet, and collectible packaging. The crossover makes sense for a group built on performance and fan engagement.

The China-only limitation is frustrating for players elsewhere, but it is consistent with how HoYoverse has handled previous KFC tie-ins. If history is any guide, a global version of the same rewards could surface months later through a different channel.
