A TierDaffodill Build Guide
Daffodill is a Break-Burst DPS whose kit is specially designed to deal Break Intensity damage. She shines most when the enemy's weakness is about to break, but that also means her damage windows and timings are strict. Her A-tier placement reflects respectable damage and a unique role, at the cost of less flexible play.

Best Arcs
Increases Break Intensity by 60 and unlocks Black Tome through team Support Skills. Black Tome marks enemies, increases Chaos DMG dealt to them by 20%, and deals extra Chaos DMG when they take Break Damage.
Increases Break Intensity by 48 and increases DMG by 10% against Broken units.
Grants 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill, up to once every 20s.
Best Cartridge
2-pc: Chaos DMG +10%. 4-pc: Ignores 12% of enemies' Chaos RES; ignores 24% for 20s after the wearer participates in Nova or Scorch reactions.
Best Main Stat: CRIT Rate or Break Intensity
- CRIT Rate is the general choice; Break Intensity focuses on her Break-Burst DPS role.

Daffodill serves as the Break Sub-DPS, paired with Baicang to trigger Scorch and Haniel to trigger Nova, which in turn triggers Discord. The last slot can be Adler for survivability or Jiuyuan for more Damage Over Time.

- Daffodill's passive Blade Draw reduces the target's Break cap by 10% whenever they are affected by Discord.
This team prioritizes Scorch instead of Discord, continuously reapplying damage over time on enemies. Baicang, Sakiri, and Adler all have passive skills that improve Scorch effects.

Skill Priority
Crossed Blades (Support Skill)
Convenient way to add more damage to a Break-intensive kit, but not a priority until other abilities are leveled.
Finale (Ultimate)
Responsible for Daffodill's Phantom Step counters and applying Insight. Second priority to level.
Still Waters (Basic Attack)
Basic Attacks make up a good bulk of damage because Daffodill deals additional Break Damage.
Resonance (Skill)
Daffodill's main damage skill. It can be empowered by teammates' Support Skills before casting, making it her highest-priority skill.
Awakening Priority
Assembly of Creations
Insight is an extremely powerful status effect, so keeping its uptime is important and makes this Awakening Effect a priority.
Eye
Increases Daffodill's Skill DMG by a significant amount per Support Skill cast. Her Skill makes up a good bulk of her damage.
Mechanical March
Allows Daffodill to use Phantom Step in more cases, giving her the option to use Finale again if a Parry is not performed.
Perfect Truth
Applies another instance of Insight to enemies when they are Broken under Insight's effects. A powerful prerequisite for Daffodill's A4.
In Concealment
Insight has a longer duration, and another Insight stack is generated, providing more Break DMG bonus through multiple stacks.
Bloom in the Lake
Straightforward upgrade that allows Daffodill to ignore 15% of enemy DEF. Good to have, but lacks synergy compared to other Awakening Effects.
How to Play
Daffodill is a Break-Burst DPS who empowers her Skill with Support Skills, applies Insight with her Ultimate, and uses Phantom Step to parry and recharge her Ultimate. She excels in Discord teams that quickly break enemies and open them up for more damage.
Rotations
- 1Fadia Skill → Sakiri Hold Skill → Sakiri Ultimate → Daffodill Skill → Daffodill Ultimate → Baicang Skill and Ultimate → Daffodill Switch (Phantom Step) → Baicang Damage Rotation (Possible Scorch Trigger)
Tips
- Start combat with a Psyche or Incantation character with full Cycle Energy, then swap to Daffodill to immediately trigger Nova or Scorch.
- Use at least two Support Skills to fully empower Resonance before casting it.
- Use Finale to apply Insight, increasing Break Damage taken, and to gain two Phantom Step charges.
- Parry attacks with Phantom Step to immediately refill Ultimate Energy.
- Run Daffodill in Discord teams; her passive Blade Draw reduces the target's Break cap by 10% when affected by Discord.
