Neverness to Everness 1.3 livestream arrives August 8: Zankou, Linko, and perishable codes

Rapport de Terrain·4 min de lecture

The next big milestone for Neverness to Everness arrives August 8, and for anyone sitting on a hoard of pull currency, this livestream matters. Hotta Studio will finally show off Zankou and Linko in motion, two characters who have been floating around in teaser images and speculation threads for weeks. More practically, the broadcast will drop redeem codes that expire fast—usually within a day or two—and those alone make it worth carving out an hour on Saturday.

When to tune in

Hotta Studio tends to break from the Friday tradition most gacha games follow. NTE special programs land on Saturdays, and version 1.3 keeps that pattern. The stream is set for August 8, 2026. Based on past broadcasts, expect a start window around 7:00 PM (UTC+8).

  • 11:00 AM (UTC)
  • 7:00 AM (ET)
  • 4:00 AM (PT)

Hotta has not pinned down an exact time in the official announcement yet. The times above are estimates drawn from previous NTE livestreams and could shift. We will update once the studio posts the final schedule.

The two characters everyone is watching

Zankou and Linko are both expected to be 5-star units, but players are guessing at their roles. Zankou looks like a DPS candidate based on the scraps of art and kit rumors that have trickled out. Linko could fill a support slot, which would make sense given how the current roster leans. Nothing is confirmed until the stream shows their full skill sets, animations, and element assignments.

Banner timing will follow the usual pattern: one new character runs in the first half of 1.3, the other in the second half, with a rerun sharing each phase. Which order they appear in is the kind of detail the livestream exists to reveal.

Events, rewards, and the Arc system

Every NTE patch brings a flagship event tied to the story, and 1.3 should be no different. Expect combat rotations, exploration objectives, and a handful of mini-games. The reward pool will include Fons, Annulith, and upgrade materials. The livestream will also touch on the Arc system if any adjustments are coming this patch.

Redeem codes: the real reason to watch live

Hotta Studio typically hands out three to five codes during a livestream. Each is worth 100 to 300 currency, and they expire within 24 to 48 hours. Missing the window means forfeiting free pulls, so setting a reminder for August 8 is the obvious move. We will list every code here as soon as the broadcast airs them.

“We’ll have full coverage of the stream, including all codes and banner details, right here.” — That is the plan, but the codes vanish fast. Watch live or check back immediately after.

Deciding whether to spend your savings

The honest answer depends on your roster gaps. If you lack a credible DPS for whatever element Zankou ends up being, he is worth the resources. Collectors who want everyone will pull regardless, and that is fine too.

  • Pull if you need a strong DPS in that element or you are a completionist.
  • Skip if your current team already covers those combat roles and you are saving for a future banner or a specific rerun.
  • Wait for the second half if leaks or early impressions suggest the other new character is stronger than the first.

The livestream will show kit details, numbers, and animations. That is the information you need to make a call, not pre-release speculation.

What to do before the stream

  • Save your currency. Do not empty your stash before you see both character kits.
  • Finish any lingering version 1.2 events. They disappear when the patch ends.
  • Pre-farm ascension materials and weapon upgrade items if you already know you are pulling for Zankou or Linko.
  • Set a calendar alert for August 8 so you do not sleep through the code drop.

Where the information stands right now

Hotta has been posting teasers on social media, but none of them contain hard details about the 1.3 patch. The livestream will be the first real look at the new characters and systems. Official YouTube and Twitch channels are the places to watch. No specific URLs have been shared yet.

For coverage of the current patch, the Iroi banner guide and the Hotori build overview cover how to spend resources right now. Once 1.3 goes live, all of that resets.
