Wuthering Waves 3.6: Qingxiao and Jingran debut dates, rerun lineup, and pre-patch checklist
Wuthering Waves players face a tough pull decision in version 3.6. Two new five-star Resonators debut across separate phases, and three older characters return for reruns. That is five banner slots to plan around, and the window to save Astrite is shorter than it looks.

Phase 1: Qingxiao debut and Denia rerun
The first half of 3.6 runs from August 19 to September 10, 2026. Qingxiao, a new five-star Resonator, headlines this phase. Alongside her debut, Denia returns for a rerun. That gives players who missed Denia the first time a second shot at pulling her.
If you are thinking about pulling for Qingxiao, check her kit against your current roster before the banner goes live. She looks like a flexible DPS or sub-DPS option, but the full numbers will tell the real story once theorycrafters get their hands on her.
Phase 2: Jingran debut with Hiyuki and Mornye reruns
September 10 through September 30 marks the second half of the patch. Jingran makes her debut here, and she shares the stage with two reruns: Hiyuki and Mornye. Three characters in one phase means you need to prioritize. If your roster is missing a support or a specific element, one of these reruns might fill that gap.
Phase 2 end dates are estimated and could shift depending on how Kuro Games handles the patch cycle.
What to do before the servers go down
Maintenance locks you out for seven hours. Use the time before it starts to wrap up these tasks.
- Spend your Waveplates so they do not hit the cap while the servers are dark.
- Finish any limited-time events that expire when 3.6 drops.
- Claim all rewards sitting in your mail.
- Check your Convene pity counter. Knowing where you stand helps you decide whether to commit to a banner or hold out.
Day-one priorities after maintenance ends
Once you log into 3.6, a few things are worth doing first.
- Open the mail and grab any maintenance compensation Kuro Games sends out.
- Start the new story quests. They unlock Qingxiao and Jingran’s ascension materials, so the sooner you clear them, the faster you can build either character.
- Browse the event tab for new limited-time activities. Some of them reward Astrite and upgrade materials.
- Check the shop for refreshed packs or bundles. Limited-time offers usually cycle in with the patch.
How to plan your pulls across both phases
Two new Resonators and three reruns in a single patch is a lot of banner pressure. Qingxiao looks like a strong pickup if you need another DPS or sub-DPS. Denia is a straightforward rerun for anyone who passed on her the first time.
Phase 2 is where the choice gets harder. Jingran, Hiyuki, and Mornye all run at the same time. If you have a specific team comp in mind or a missing element, that narrows the decision. Otherwise, wait for early impressions and damage calculations before spending Astrite. Future banners are always on the horizon, and skipping a phase you are unsure about beats pulling on a character you bench a week later.
