Push for ~115%–120% Energy Regen so you can reliably cast Resonance Liberation (Rekindle) within your rotation—Zani deals most of her damage using Resonance Liberation.
Focus on Crit (balance CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG) and equip two 3-cost Spectro DMG main-stat echoes when possible.
Prioritize Heavy Attack DMG Bonus on substats and echoes because many of Zani's transformed attacks scale as both Heavy Attacks and Spectro Frazzle DMG.
Use Capitaneus as main echo for best results; if unavailable, use Nightmare: Mourning Aix. If you have non-Spectro Capitaneus copies, consider using Data Modifiers to switch main stat to Spectro DMG Bonus.

Zani, as Main DPS, wants as many Spectro Frazzle stacks as possible to convert into Heliacal Embers. Pairing her with Phoebe is recommended since Phoebe (Confession state) is currently the best Frazzle applicator. Phoebe can run either Moonlit Clouds (better ER and team ATK boost for Zani) or Eternal Radiance (more personal damage, requires extra ER substat rolls). Shorekeeper is recommended for the third slot for team-wide buffs and stat increases to further boost Zani's damage potential.

Initiate combat with Zani and build up her Redundant Energy with her Basic Attack combo to help maximize her Inferno Mode rotation later on., Switch to Shorekeeper and use her kit. Cast her Resonance Liberation and fill her Concerto Energy before swapping to Phoebe., Have Phoebe enter Confession mode and stack Spectro Frazzle stacks with two Heavy Attacks and her Resonance Liberation., Once Phoebe's Concerto Gauge is full, switch to Zani., Enter combat via Zani's Intro Skill to get a Spectro DMG Bonus increase., With Zani's Redundant Energy full, cast her transformed Resonance Skill to deal damage and enter Sunburst Mode for a 20% Spectro Frazzle DMG amplification., Cast Zani's Resonance Liberation to enter Inferno Mode., In Inferno Mode, perform two sets of Heavy Slash combos to deplete Blaze stacks. Each Blaze stack increases her DMG multipliers., When Blaze stacks are depleted, cast her second Liberation to deal high damage., Switch to Shorekeeper to detonate her Stellarealm. Free to Play Frazzle Team

This F2P-friendly team uses Spectro Rover as an accessible Frazzle applicator. Baizhi provides sustain; Verina or Buling can upgrade that slot if available. Early-game players may prefer the Heavy Attack Frazzle playstyle for higher damage early on at the expense of less sustain.

Start with Zani and quickly build her Redundant Energy stacks using her Basic Attack combo up to her Breakthrough attack., Switch to Rover (Spectro) without waiting for Zani's Concerto gauge to be filled., Build up Spectro Frazzle stacks with Rover by casting their Resonance Liberation and two instances of their Resonance Skill, then switch to Zani., Enter via Zani's Intro Skill to amplify her damage. When her transformed Resonance Skill is available, cast it to enter Sunburst Mode and increase damage., Use Zani's Resonance Liberation to enter Inferno Mode., Perform Heavy Slash combos with Zani; use her Resonance Skill as needed to parry enemies and negate attacks., When Blaze stacks are depleted from Heavy Slashes, cast Resonance Liberation again to perform The Last Stand and deal high damage., If Resonators are low on HP, heal them with Baizhi. Repeat until enemies are defeated.

Heavy Attack Frazzle Team

This is a more damage-oriented setup: Mortefi provides Heavy Attack DMG amplification and off-field damage but doesn't apply Spectro Frazzle, so Rover is included to supply Frazzle stacks. Recommended: equip Rejuvenating Glow on Rover for sustain and ATK buffs. Requirements/constraints: Mortefi needs Sequence Node 4 to use Empyrean Anthem (if using that Echo set); Spectro Rover must have Sequence Node 4 for some recommended interactions. Mortefi and Rover build choices may affect Echo set recommendations and playstyle.

Have Zani enter combat and do her Basic Attack combo until Breakthrough to fill her Redundant Energy gauge., Swap to Rover (Spectro) and perform their optimal attack combo to quickly fill half of their Forte gauge. Cast their Resonance Skill to apply 2 stacks of Spectro Frazzle., Switch to Mortefi and use his Skill resets and Basic Attacks to build his Concerto and Resonance Energy., Switch back to Rover while Mortefi's Concerto Gauge isn't full., With Rover, cast Resonance Liberation and another Resonance Skill (Resonating Spin) to apply Spectro Frazzle stacks quickly., Once Rover's Concerto gauge is full, switch to Mortefi., Have Mortefi cast his Resonance Liberation, followed by his Echo skill and Resonance Skill to reach maximum Concerto Energy., When Mortefi's Outro Skill is available, switch to Zani to grant her Heavy Attack DMG amplification along with Spectro DMG Bonus from her Intro Skill., When Zani's Transformed Skill is available, cast it to deal damage and gain Sunburst Mode Spectro Frazzle DMG amplification., Cast Zani's Resonance Liberation to enter Inferno Mode., In Inferno Mode, perform Heavy Slash combos and consume Blaze to increase DMG multipliers. Every time the conversion happens, Zani obtains Blaze based on the stacks of Heliacal Ember inflicted. Heliacal Ember is capped at 60 stacks, with each stack lasting for 6s. Heliacal Ember stacks are counted toward the Spectro Frazzle stacks for the Eternal Radiance Sonata Effect.

When Zani is in Inferno Mode, Heavy Slash - Daybreak, Heavy Slash - Dawning, Heavy Slash - Nightfall, and Heavy Slash - Lightsmash become available, which deal Spectro DMG that is considered both Heavy Attack DMG and Spectro Frazzle DMG.
