SUPPORT: Yaoyao focuses on healing and applying Dendro with her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. Her Elemental Skill alone provides insufficient Dendro application for Bloom/Hyperbloom/Burgeon teams as a solo Dendro option.
Weapon Choices:
- Favonius Lance: A good generalist option providing Energy Recharge with a useful passive.
- Rightful Reward: Performs worse if not using her Elemental Burst.
- Kitain Cross Spear: Can surpass Favonius Lance in teams where she has significant Bloom ownership.
Artifact Sets:
- Deepwood Memories (4): Default when reducing Dendro resistance is needed and no one else holds it.
- Tenacity of the Millelith (4): Good when reducing Dendro resistance is unimportant, e.g., Yaoyao, Anemo, two Electro damage dealers (Aggravate).
- Instructor (4): Similarly useful if another teammate already carries Deepwood Memories. Note: Yaoyao must trigger a reaction on-field for the 4pc bonus; limited to 4★ stats.
- Ocean-Hued Clam (4): Ideal when on-fielding Yaoyao and a supportive set is unnecessary.
- Flower of Paradise Lost (4) / Gilded Dreams (4) / Elemental Mastery (2) mixes: Specifically for Nilou Bloom teams where she has high Bloom ownership and built with Elemental Mastery. However, Ocean-Hued Clam (4) may still outperform when on-fielding.
Main Stat and Substat Choices:
In Bloom teams with significant ownership, prioritize Elemental Mastery on Goblet and Circlet. Sands can use Elemental Mastery if Energy Recharge is not needed. Elemental Mastery substats become valuable.

The Elemental Burst of Nahida buffs her Elemental Skill depends on the Element of her teammates. With aid of Nilou and Xingqiu which can provide Hydro even off-field, Bloom can be triggered to produce Bountiful Cores (because of Nilou). As there are two Hydro Characters in this team, the duration of her Elemental Burst is increased.
