Suisui requires <b>260% Energy Regen</b> to get the full extent of her buffs. Reaching this number gives allies 12% more DMG and 50% ATK increase.
Her Resonance Liberation costs 175 Energy, so low ER will severely affect rotations.
When using Variation, it's estimated for you to have 5 substat rolls to meet the 260% stat check. Firstlight's Herald provides an extra 25% ER, allowing a 3COST HP% or Glacio DMG Bonus piece instead.
Upgrade Resonance Skill and Intro Skill first, as these are her main sources of damage. Then Resonance Liberation for healing.
Most of Suisui's buffs are built into her skills and cannot be upgraded.

Premium Havoc Bane Team

Suisui's best-in-slot team is with her sister, Yangyang, alongside Chisa to boost the Havoc Bane mechanic significantly. Yangyang Xuanling is one of the strongest 3.x DPS characters to debut with her high DMG multipliers and insane self-buffing capabilities. Together with Chisa, who reduces enemies' DEF stats via her Forte, max stack increase of Negative Statuses, and additional Havoc Bane application, she is an ideal sub-DPS for Yangyang in particular. This highly synergizes with Suisui's own kit, which not only provides great healing, but also gives All DMG amplification, a team-wide ATK boost, DEF and Havoc RES ignore, and DMG increase, letting Yangyang deal as much damage as she can!

Start with Suisui and build up her Forte gauge. Once full, cast Resonance Skill to switch stances., Next, do a mid-air attack to plunge into the ground, followed by 4 Basic Attacks. Then, cast Resonance Liberation and Echo Skill before switching to Chisa via Outro., As Chisa, do a full Basic Attack String. Then, perform Resonance Liberation., With max Forte gauge, cast Resonance Skill and hold the attack button until Forte is depleted. You may then switch out to Yangyang: Xuanling., As Yangyang enters via Intro, hold Heavy Attack until her Forte gauge is depleted., Next, press Resonance Skill to switch stances and hold Heavy Attack again., Afterwards, cast Resonance Liberation followed by a Resonance Skill., Lastly, perform another Heavy Attack and exit via Outro to Suisui., Repeat until all enemies are defeated.

Suisui Glacio Chafe Team

Suisui's second best team is the Glacio Chafe comp with Hiyuki and Lucilla. In this team, all three characters revolve around the Glacio Chafe mechanic when dealing with enemies on the field. Suisui provides excellent healing, All DMG amplification, an ATK boost, and DMG buffs with her skills. Together with Lucilla, who greatly boosts Glacio Chafe DMG, the two can funnel all the buffs to Hiyuki, the premier Glacio Chafe DPS in the meta. Suisui also essentially replaces Chisa in this comp, as she can fully maximize Hiyuki's buffs with more efficiency, while also being able to increase the max stack limit of Negative Statuses by 3.

Start with Suisui and build her Forte gauge with Basic Attacks. Then, cast empowered Resonance Skill once available., Next, do a mid-air attack and plunge on the ground, followed by four basic attacks. Afterwards, cast Resonance Liberation and Echo Skill before switching out to Lucilla via Outro., After Lucilla enters the field via Intro, hold her Resonance Skill to quickly get three Photo stacks. Once available, cast Resonance Liberation., Once Lucilla is in the Reminiscence mode, hold Heavy Attack until her Forte is depleted. Then, cast Echo Skill and switch to Hiyuki via Outro., With Hiyuki, hold Heavy Attack to fill her Forte and wait until the attack string is completed., Once Resonance Liberation is available, cast it to enter the Foreclaimed Self state., In this form, build up Hiyuki's Forte gauge by performing 5 Basic Attacks. Then, press Resonance Skill., After the first Resonance Skill, hold the second Resonance Skill cast to immediately enter the Iai stance, then do three instances of Basic Attack - Iai., Lastly, perform a Heavy Attack and follow it up with Hiyuki's Resonance Liberation. Then, switch back to Suisui via Outro., Repeat until no enemies are left on the field.

S1 Negative Status Teams

Various Negative Status teams will only work optimally if you have Suisui at S1. The DPS units cannot get the 50% ATK buff at S0. Aemeath's Fusion Burst Mode cannot consume Negative Status stacks, as she merely triggers the max DoT effects once stacks reach 5. Consuming the stacks is a requirement at S0 to get the ATK buff, which S1 bypasses. Spectro Frazzle teams also cannot get the Negative Statuses at S0 due to the unique mechanic of Zani converting Spectro Frazzle into Heliacal Embers, while Phoebe only increases her DMG multipliers based on Frazzle stacks.

Alternative Erosion Team

An Aero Erosion team is possible with Suisui, though her kit cannot be fully maximized with this setup. Cartethyia is an HP-scaling character, so the massive 50% ATK buff provided by Suisui is essentially useless. That said, Suisui can still provide a 25% DMG Amplification, 12% total DMG increase, and increase the max stack limit of Aero Erosion by 3, which Cartethyia benefits from.
