Beyond the anomalies: apartments, street racing, and getting arrested in NTE

Feldbericht·4 Min. Lesezeit

Neverness to Everness (NTE) launched on April 29, 2026, and the combat and anomaly hunting get most of the attention. But the game also lets you buy a home, modify a car, race it through city streets, parkour up a skyscraper, steal a vehicle, and then run from the cops. That side of Hethereau is worth understanding before you spend your first Fons.

Steal a car, get a wanted level

The Wanted system is NTE’s answer to anyone who gets bored following traffic laws. Steal a vehicle and the police come after you. Cause more chaos and the heat rises from one star all the way to four. At four stars, the detention center is where you end up if they catch you.

There are three ways to lose the cops. Outrun them, eat a special snack that hides your trail, or duck into a locker and wait it out. The system gives Hethereau a chaotic, anime-GTA feel that is hard to find in other gacha games.

Housing: from a dorm room to a 200k Fons apartment

Early in the story, the game puts you up at the Eibon Antique Shop on Hankaku Street. You get a dorm room that restores HP, which works fine for a while. Eventually you will want your own place. Properties start at 200,000 Fons.

Once you buy an apartment, you can invite characters to move in with you. They wear exclusive home outfits when they are there, and the interactions you can have with them depend on your affinity level. Those activities include yoga, holding hands, and making origami. Nothing world-changing, but it adds texture to the downtime between missions.

Each property comes with unique Anomaly Furniture. These pieces grant stat boosts like ATK and DEF, and you can upgrade them. If you are looking to strengthen your team without spending resin or materials, the furniture is worth prioritizing early.

Vehicle mods and street racing

Car modification in NTE goes beyond picking a paint job. You can adjust the suspension, swap wheels, and tune the engine to change torque, braking force, and RPM. These changes affect how the car handles, which matters because the city is dense and the streets are full of obstacles.

Street racing is a separate activity with its own map markers. Look for pink flag icons on the map and talk to the NPC there to start a race. You can drive in first-person or third-person view. The cars can push close to 200 miles per hour. Winning a race pays out Fons and Annulith, the two main currencies you will spend in Hethereau.

Getting around a vertical city

Hethereau was built upward, and a car can only take you so far. Parkour lets you climb buildings, though your stamina drains as you go up. Once you reach the top, jump off and deploy the glider for a safe landing. It is simple but effective, and it opens up routes that ground-level travel cannot reach.

If you want a faster way down, you can always steal a car and jump out mid-drive. That will trigger the Wanted system, but sometimes that is part of the fun.

Launch events and what comes next

The launch celebration is still running. Official materials have not stated specific event dates, but players can expect login bonuses and limited-time challenges that reward Fons and Annulith. Check the in-game notice board for the current schedule.

Version 1.2 has already been detailed. It introduces the 999 Nights outfit collection and Shinku’s full kit for players who want pull advice. The life-sim and traversal systems from launch are still there underneath it all — apartments, cars, races, and police chases are not going anywhere.
