B TierFadia Build Guide
Fadia is a Survival character whose gimmick is to mitigate the damage her teammates take by taking part of the damage herself. Then, upon reaching a certain threshold, she can perform an empowered version of her Ultimate, which deals more damage and heals more of Fadia's HP. This makes Fadia a great tank and sub-DPS, although managing her HP will take some getting used to.
Strengths
- Mitigates damage for teammates by redirecting part of the damage to herself.
- Can deal high damage with her empowered Ultimate when HP is low.
- Ultimate provides self-healing, giving her great stall potential.
- Works well as a tank and sub-DPS.
Weaknesses
- Requires careful HP management to maximize her effectiveness.
- Team composition may be restricted when using certain Arcs or Cartridges.
Best Arcs
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Psyche DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Increases wearer's DMG by 18%. The bonus becomes 36% against units affected by Nova or Stain.
Best Main Stat: Psyche DMG Bonus or HP%
- HP% for general use allows Fadia to deal and tank more damage.
- Psyche DMG Bonus avoids diminishing returns and prevents the HP threshold for instant Ultimate charge from being too high.
Module Layout
Required Modules
Bonus: Type II (+6% HP)
Total Bonus: +30% Attack
Substat Priority
- Best Module layout when using Devil's Blood: Curse. Contains all pieces needed to activate the 4-piece effect.
- Maximizes bonuses from the bonus Module.
- Prioritize modules with the listed sub stats to improve HP, survivability, self-healing, and damage.
Best Teams
Fadia will help mitigate damage for the team, keeping everyone alive with her passive that redirects damage to her. Nanally will be the team's Main DPS, with Daffodill as the Sub-DPS and Sakiri as the buffer. As the damage that Fadia redirects to herself is computed before shield mitigation, taking Adler instead of Sakiri is a decent option to increase the team's survivability. In terms of Eclipse Cycles, the team can apply both Scorch and Nova, which can then be used to trigger Discord. The team can also take advantage of Hexed to deal a large amount of follow-up damage to enemies.
Alternatives
Use Fadia's passive to redirect damage to herself.
Apply Scorch and Nova to trigger Discord.
Utilize Hexed for follow-up damage.
Similar to the Discord Team, Fadia will help the team stay alive by mitigating damage and redirecting it towards her. Mint will be the team's Main DPS, with Esper Zero and Hathor serving as Sub-DPS characters. If players don't have Hathor, they can opt to use Skia instead. Instead of Discord, this team will focus on the Charge Eclipse Cycle, which will help the team charge their Ultimates. Other than Charge, the team can also apply Stain and Remora to enemies, as well as summon Vita Buds with Blossom.
Alternatives
Focus on Charge Eclipse Cycle to charge Ultimates.
Apply Stain and Remora to enemies.
Summon Vita Buds with Blossom.
Skill Priority
Wordless Rejection
Because Fadia will mostly be off-field, her Basic Attack is not a priority to improve.
Existence
Existence deals damage in an area before inflicting Destructive Experience on an enemy, which makes them take some of the damage that Fadia takes. Improve this next to increase its damage.
Outsider
Improve this skill to increase the damage that Fadia deals when using her Support Skill.
Agony to Euphoria
Fadia's Ultimate is her biggest source of damage, and can be instantly activated once her HP gets low enough. As such, level this first to increase her damage output.
Awakening Priority
Instinct
Improves Fadia's Skill by increasing Destructive Experience's damage ratio and cap. If you did not hit the damage cap, the remaining damage will be dealt in one go once Destructive Experience is removed.
Curser of Blessings
Provides a huge boost to Fadia's Max HP whenever she enters combat, effectively increasing the damage her Skill and Ultimate deal.
Apostate
The damage that Fadia redirects to herself increases, allowing her to tank more damage for her team.
Bringer of Love and Death
When Fadia applies Destructive Experience, she now applies it to multiple targets, allowing her to damage multiple enemies at the same time.
Breaker of Taboos
Improves the healing that Fadia gets whenever she enters her Lilith form.
Survivor of Death
Improves Fadia's CRIT Rate while in the Lilith State, improving her damage output.
How to Play
Fadia takes the role of an HP-scaling Sub-DPS tank unit, and changes from being an off-field tank support to an on-field Psyche DMG driver. Keep her off-field to maximize her damage tanking capabilities. When entering the field, cast your Skill to inflict the highest HP opponent with her attachment, which causes a portion of the damage she receives to return to that enemy. Fight normally, swapping off to other characters and letting Fadia's passive take the hits. Once your HP reaches the Destructive Threshold, Fadia will go last in the rotation next time and open her turn up with her Skill, then Ultimate. Use this time to deal a good chunk of front-loaded Psyche DMG to enemies.
Rotations
- 1Standard Rotation: Keep Fadia off-field until her HP reaches around 80% or lower → Switch to Fadia → Fadia Skill → Fadia Ultimate → Full Basic Attack Combo → Swap to Main DPS.
- 2Unlike other DPS characters who need to stay on the field to charge their Ultimate, Fadia is better kept off-field to take advantage of her ability to tank part of the damage dealt to the active character.
- 3Once she goes below the damage threshold, immediately swap to her and use her Skill to apply Destructive Experience to the enemy with the highest HP.
- 4After applying Destructive Experience, quickly cast Fadia's Ultimate to deal Psyche damage, as well as empower her next full Basic Attack combo.
- 5Once the combo is done and her Ultimate has worn off, swap back to your Main DPS or Support and perform your regular damage rotation.
- 6While it may be tempting to buff Fadia using Sakiri or Haniel, this will not help much as the bonus damage from Fadia's Ultimate scales off of her HP, not her ATK.
Tips
- Fadia's passive allows her to soak up a portion of taken damage for her team while she is off-field, draining her HP and slowly bringing her down to her desired HP threshold.
- Once she is below this HP threshold, using her Ultimate allows her to deal more damage and heal off more of the damage, requiring players to pay attention to her HP.
- Fadia carries a Nova-specific enhancement that deals damage equal to 200% of Fadia's base HP and heals each ally except for Fadia. This makes her a prime choice for slotting into Nova teams with Chaos characters.
- Alternatively, she is also a viable unit for enabling Stain with Lakshana characters, increasing DMG done to enemies from both Esper sources.
- Due to the nature of her Ultimate healing her whenever it is cast, it is possible to tank enemy attacks until she reaches her damage threshold (and past that), before using her Ultimate to heal up any damage that she took. This gives her great solo potential if players know how to manage her HP.
