S Tier TierLacrimosa Build Guide
Lacrimosa is a strong Main DPS capable of applying a stacking DoT effect on enemies she attacks. Additionally, she can copy an enemy's combat technique, allowing her to use it in fights. This makes her very flexible, able to fit in various team compositions.
Strengths
- Applies stacking Nightmare DoT on enemies she attacks.
- Can copy an enemy's combat technique and use it as her own Skill.
- Very flexible with both Melee and Ranged Basic Attacks.
- Thrives in Discord teams, dealing bonus burst damage when Discord is triggered.
- Can extend the Broken state of enemies with The Last Rose.
Weaknesses
- Nightmare DoT has a short duration, requiring constant reapplication.
- Needs supports like Sakiri and Haniel to unlock her full damage potential.
- Best performance depends on specific Arcs and the Diabolos Cartridge.
- Requires active skill swapping and management to adapt to fights.
Best Arcs

Bohemian Rose - Increases ATK by 14%. Grants 1 stack of Chaos Thorn each time the wearer deals DOT. Increases CRIT DMG by 6% per stack for 3s. Triggers at most once every 0.3s, up to 10 stacks and refreshes the duration when retriggered. Grants 10 stacks of Chaos Thorn immediately when the wearer casts a Redirect Skill. Extends the Broken state of a Broken enemy by 3s when the wearer deals damage to them (triggers at most once per Break Effect).

Motor Candy - Increases 5% ATK every 1s while the wearer is the active character, up to 5 stacks. Resets when the wearer leaves the field.

Inspiration Terminator - Grants the wearer 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Chaos DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Ignores 12% of enemies' Chaos RES. Ignores 24% of enemies' Chaos RES for 20s after the wearer participates in Nova or Scorch reactions.
Best Main Stat: CRIT Rate or Chaos DMG Boost
- If using The Last Rose, pick Chaos DMG Boost as the main stat since the Arc provides CRIT Rate.
- Otherwise, choose CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG based on your Module substats.
Module Layout
Required Modules
Bonus: Type III (+10% Chaos DMG Bonus)
Total Bonus: +40% Chaos DMG
Substat Priority
- This layout activates Diabolos's 4-piece effect while maximizing the bonus Module.
- Prioritize CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG; if using The Last Rose, favor CRIT DMG more.
- ATK remains important since Lacrimosa's DoT scales off ATK.
Best Teams
A DoT-focused team with Incantation supports to increase DoT damage and a Psyche character to trigger Nova and Discord for Lacrimosa.

Lacrimosa
Main DPS
Deals damage and stacks Nightmare DoT.

Sakiri
Support
Increases the team's DoT damage; highest priority support.

Haniel
Sub-DPS
Psyche character that buffs the team and helps apply Nova.

Daffodill
Flex (Flex)
Easily Breaks enemies for more damage windows.
Alternatives
Start with Haniel's Skill for buffs, then use Sakiri or Adler's Skill to buff and build Cycle Energy.
Swap to Lacrimosa to trigger Scorch and start stacking Nightmare with Basic Attacks and Skills.
Use Lacrimosa's Ultimate as soon as it's ready for massive damage and more Nightmare stacks.
When Cycle Energy fills, swap to a Psyche character to apply Nova and trigger Discord for extra burst damage.
Circulate back to Haniel and repeat the rotation to keep DoT and Discord uptime high.
- This team doubles as a Discord Team, which Lacrimosa thrives in since she deals additional burst damage whenever Discord is triggered.
Skill Priority
Sweet and Sour
Level her Basic Attack to improve overall damage and Nightmare application.
Microwake
Level her Support Skill last to increase damage whenever she enters the stage and uses it.
Working Day Judgement
Prioritize her Ultimate to maximize damage output.
Morning Tomato
Improves damage output; prioritize leveling second after Ultimate.
Awakening Priority
Tempered Glass Judgement
Reduces target's Max HP with DoT damage, restores Lacrimosa's HP based on DoT damage, and prevents Nightmare from being removed when target is healed.
Clout Out Clemency
Increases Nightmare DoT damage.
Almighty Lord of Tomatoes
Increases Nightmare duration so the DoT lasts longer.
Molten Ice Cream
Triggers all accumulated Nightmare stacks after a full Basic Attack combo.
Morning Spell
Automatically casts her Support Skill and triggers the corresponding cycle even without enough Cycle Energy, after using her Redirect Skill.
Rise and Shine
Increases Lacrimosa's damage when she switches in using a Support Skill.
How to Play
Lacrimosa's gameplay loop is to keep Nightmare stacked on enemies, use her copied Skill to adapt, swap between Melee and Ranged modes, and trigger Discord with team reactions. Start fights with supports to fill Cycle Energy, swap to Lacrimosa for Scorch, then rotate to apply Nova and Discord.
Rotations
- 1Haniel Skill → Sakiri/Adler Skill → Fill Cycle Energy → Swap to Lacrimosa (Scorch Trigger) → Lacrimosa Skill → Lacrimosa Basic Attack Combo (Stack Nightmare) → Lacrimosa Ultimate → Swap to Haniel (Nova and Discord Trigger) → Repeat.
Tips
- Use a Psyche or Incantation character with full Cycle Energy to open and immediately swap to Lacrimosa for a reaction.
- Before combat, swap Lacrimosa's Skill to one of your recorded enemy techniques.
- Keep Basic Attacking to apply Nightmare; use Skill when available, then immediately follow with Basic Attack to chain the combo finisher.
- Trigger Discord on enemies as much as possible for bonus burst damage.
- Use Melee mode for more hits and Critical Ripostes, or Ranged mode to kite enemies safely.
