This endgame build maxes Laevatain's hypercarry potential by pairing Forgeborn Scathe with the Hot Work gear set. Forgeborn Scathe strengthens her Ultimate basic attacks while Hot Work's Combustion-triggered Heat damage buff covers her entire kit. Redeemer Armor is used as an off-piece to get more Ultimate Gain, letting her spend more time in her empowered state where she deals the bulk of her damage.

Forgeborn Scathe is chosen because its Twilight essence greatly enhances basic attacks during Ultimate, which is Laevatain's main damage window.

Hot Work gear works because Laevatain applies Combustion through her enhanced Battle Skill, satisfying the 4-piece set condition and amplifying her Heat damage across her whole kit.

Umbral Torch is the fallback if Forgeborn Scathe is unavailable, though its Heat damage bonus can hit diminishing returns. Fortmaker and Wave Tide are serviceable substitutes when Ultimate uptime is more important.

Use Redeemer Armor as the off-piece because it boosts Ultimate Gain and raises Intellect and Strength, helping Laevatain activate her Ultimate more often.
The Hot Work set triggers after Laevatain applies Combustion, which her enhanced Battle Skill does reliably, giving her a 50% Heat damage bonus for 10 seconds.
