Wulfgard—endgame dps

This endgame build focuses on maximizing Wulfgard's single-target Heat burst. The core loop is to apply Combustion, gain Scorching Fangs, and then immediately cast Thermite Tracers to consume the reaction for a massive extra hit. Hot Work and Bonekrusha stack Heat DMG and Arts Intensity so both his reaction damage and his skill damage stay high. It is a straightforward burst DPS setup that rewards good reaction timing but is limited by its single-target nature.

Rational Farewell is chosen because its Pursuit effect grants a large ATK buff that Wulfgard can reliably trigger with his Combo Skill, making it easy to keep up in fights.

Hot Work is the natural set for a Combustion DPS: it raises Arts Intensity and grants a huge Heat DMG spike whenever Wulfgard applies Combustion, exactly lining up with his combo loop.

Bonekrusha is the best glove off-piece because it matches the Strength/Agility stat profile and adds extra Heat DMG to both his normal skills and his Combustion procs.

If you don't have Rational Farewell, Clannibal and Wedge are acceptable damage options, while Long Road is a budget 4-star pick for early progression.

Hot Work increases Arts Intensity and gives a +50% Heat DMG bonus after applying Combustion, which directly boosts Wulfgard's DoT and skill damage.
Using Bonekrusha Wristband as the off-piece adds extra Heat DMG and pairs well with the set's stat focus on Strength and Agility.
Some players prefer MI Security gear for pure Battle Skill damage, especially if they feel Hot Work's Arts Intensity doesn't benefit Wulfgard enough because Combustion is often consumed quickly.
Clannibal can work as an alternative but forces you to carefully wait for Combustion to tick before consuming it, adding extra micromanagement.

Yvonne—endgame dps

This endgame build focuses on maximizing Yvonne's single-target burst through her Ultimate. Artzy Tyrannical provides the ideal stat mix of Fracture, Critical Rate, and Intellect, while MI Security's Crit-based ATK stacking synergy turns her rapid-fire enhanced Basic Attacks into sustained high damage. The set bonus is easy to maintain because Yvonne constantly crits during her ultimate window, making this the strongest setup for boss fights.

Artzy Tyrannical is chosen because its Fracture effect and Critical Rate/Intellect bonuses directly amplify Yvonne's main damage sources.

MI Security is recommended because the 2-piece Crit Rate boost and the on-crit ATK stacking effect have high uptime during her Ultimate, where she fires many Basic Attacks.

At max stacks, the MI Security set grants an extra Crit Rate boost, further stabilizing her Crit output against bosses.

Navigator is usable if you already have it from the Battle Pass, while Wedge and Howling Guard serve as cheaper alternatives during progression.

Artzy Tyrannical is the best-in-slot weapon because it matches Yvonne's core stats: Fracture, Critical Rate, and Intellect.
The MI Security set gives Critical Rate plus stacking ATK on critical hits, which works perfectly with Yvonne's rapid Basic Attacks during her Ultimate.
If you have the Battle Pass, Navigator is a good secondary choice, though it provides fewer raw stats than Artzy Tyrannical.
Wedge and Howling Guard are more accessible fallbacks when you don't have the premium weapons yet.

Yvonne—early game dps

Best in Slot

This early game build gives Yvonne a budget-friendly path to strong single-target Cryo damage. Wedge provides the Critical Rate and Arts DMG she needs to feel impactful in normal content, while Mordvolt Insulation supports her Intellect scaling and adds conditional Arts DMG. This setup is ideal for the first 30 levels and lets you save premium gear materials for the endgame DPS build.

Wedge is the best F2P-friendly option early because it gives Yvonne the Crit and Arts DMG she needs to scale her Basic Attacks.

Mordvolt Insulation's Intellect set bonus directly increases her damage, and the conditional Arts DMG boost is easy to maintain while she stays healthy.

Howling Guard can substitute if you need even more Intellect and Attack, but it has a lower base stat ceiling.

Once you reach higher levels, transition to Artzy Tyrannical with the MI Security set for better sustained boss damage.

Wedge is a strong early weapon because it grants Critical Rate and Arts DMG, which Yvonne scales well with.
The Mordvolt Insulation set gives an Intellect bonus and increases Arts DMG when HP is above 80%, making it a solid leveling set.
If you lack Wedge, Howling Guard is a budget alternative that still provides Attack and Intellect, though its base stats are lower.
This setup is intended for levels 15 to 30 and should be replaced by MI Security as you approach endgame.
