A TierChiz Build Guide
Chiz is a strong DPS character that can continuously deal Cosmos DMG to enemies with her kit, which revolves around the management of Grain. The more Grain Chiz has, the stronger her attacks become. While Chiz's kit may seem confusing at first with its stock market-like mechanics, it is easy to get used to and will allow you to dispatch enemies with ease.
Strengths

- Scales well with Fons for increased damage
Weaknesses
- Requires at least 1,000,000 Fons to fully maximize Contemplative Cat Arc bonus
- Mechanic may be confusing initially
Best Arcs
Increases Cosmos DMG by 2.5% for every 100000 Fons the wearer holds, up to 10 stacks.
Increases wearer's damage dealt by 18% for 10s after casting Support Skill. Triggers at most once every 20s.
Restores wearer's HP by 12% upon defeating an enemy. Triggers at most once every 20s.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Cosmos DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Ignores 25% of enemies' DEF for 20s after the wearer casts Ultimate.
Best Main Stat: CRIT Rate
- Chiz naturally gains up to 50% bonus Cosmos DMG from Bonus Module, so prioritize CRIT Rate over CRIT DMG for consistency.

Substat Priority
- Use this layout to activate Lost Radiance's 4-piece effect and maximize bonus Module benefits.
- Prioritize sub stats: ATK% and DMG, then ATK, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG.
Best Teams
Chiz functions as a special On-Field Cosmos DPS that lets you farm Fons, making her a good DPS option in a Charge team featuring Hathor and Jiuyuan or Mint as Sub-DPS units for her.
Alternatives
Use Chiz early in the rotation to benefit from Charge for faster Ultimate recharge.
Basic rotation: Adler Skill → Jiuyuan Skill → Chiz Skill (Blossom Trigger) → Chiz Ultimate → (Chiz Skill → Basic Attack x2) 3 times → Hathor Skill → Chiz Skill (Remora/Charge Trigger) → Chiz Ultimate → (Chiz Skill → Basic Attack x2) 3 times → Jiuyuan Ultimate.
If Charge doesn't trigger, Hathor can do her damage rotation.
- Charge team is her best but not most accessible; Blossom team is second-best.
- Adler's shields help keep Chiz alive during combo.
Skill Priority
Temporary Entry (Support Skill)
While strong, Chiz's Support Skill is the lowest priority to level out of all of her skills.
Zero-Sum Game (Ultimate)
Zero-Sum Game is another big source of Chiz's damage, especially if you're able to time her Skill usage well.
Exiled Swordplay (Basic Attack)
Chiz's Basic Attack is an important part of her kit as it allows her to build up Grain. Level this alongside her Ultimate to increase her damage output.
Pink Paws Priority Principe (Skill)
A huge chunk of Chiz's damage comes from her Skill. As such, prioritize leveling this first.
Awakening Priority
To Riceball, Bandage, Fons
Increases Chiz's Grain acquisition efficiency, allowing you to fill up her Grain at a faster rate.
If There Were No Rainy Days
Increases the chances that Grain prices increase when Chiz uses her Ultimate.
Blank Diary Pages
Fills Chiz's Grain storage when entering combat, allowing her to deal the maximum amount of damage from the start.
Thirty-Three Days
Improves the amount of Bonus Cosmos DMG that Chiz gets from Grain.
Sun, Sun... speak to me!
Allows Chiz to store even more Grain.
Fireworks in Silence
Grants passive Grain production as long as Chiz's Grain is in the positive.
How to Play
Chiz should be the last person to enter in a team rotation, preferably with an Esper Cycle at the ready. Enter with Chiz and either spam her Skill and weave in Basic Attacks, or use her Held Skill to spin and consume grain. Once her Grain is about to run out, use her Ultimate and take advantage of the temporary Grain and increased Skill damage. Use her Skill along with Basic Attacks to recover Grain. Once Ultimate runs out, swap back to supports.
Rotations
- 1Standard rotation: Adler Skill → Jiuyuan Skill → Chiz Skill (Blossom Trigger on Swap) → Chiz Ultimate → (Chiz Skill → Basic Attack x2) 3 times → Hathor Skill → Chiz Skill (Remora/Charge Trigger on Swap) → Chiz Ultimate → (Chiz Skill → Basic Attack x2) 3 times → Jiuyuan Ultimate.
- 2If Charge does not trigger, use Hathor's damage rotation before repeating Chiz's combo.
Tips
- Hold Skill button to continuously consume Grain while spinning.
- Team up with Anima or Lakshana characters for Blossom or Remora teams; Charge team is best.
- Ultimate resets Grain count to 15,000, allowing extended Skill usage.
