Moonlit Clouds (5-piece) is the best current Sonata for Taoqi: it boosts Energy Regen and increases the ATK of the next character after Taoqi's Outro, which synergizes with her support/sub-DPS role. No DEF-focused set exists yet, so this is currently optimal.

Good early-game echo if you don't have Geochelone yet. Provides a shield after a successful charge/guard interaction.

Taoqi's shields and most of her damage scale with DEF — prioritize DEF main/substats to strengthen both survivability and damage.
If you want stronger shields and overall tankiness, build for DEF. If you need more personal damage, consider boosting Havoc DMG (via 3-cost main stat) while keeping sufficient DEF.
Bell-Borne Geochelone is the best main echo for team utility (shields, damage reduction, transferable shield).
Impermanence Heron is useful if you need more Resonance Energy uptime so Taoqi can cast her Ultimate more often and buff the next character.
Moonlit Clouds (5-piece) increases Taoqi's Energy Regen and boosts the next character's ATK after her Outro — very synergistic for a support/sub-DPS role.
Upgrade priority: Max Forte Circuit first (increases shield & Timed Counter damage), then Resonance Liberation, then Resonance Skill for better healing/shields. Normal Attack and Intro Skill upgrades are low priority.
Dauntless Evernight is the top weapon because it grants DEF. Discord is a good alternative for energy regeneration; Autumntrace is a lower-tier option providing ATK stacks.

Taoqi Resonance Skill Team

Taoqi's Outro Skill buffs Jinhsi notably because much of Jinhsi's damage comes from her Resonance Skill. Taoqi also provides shields for team survivability. Shorekeeper empowers both resonators and accelerates Jinhsi's Incandescence gain by dealing Spectro damage while on-field. The rotation centers on building and consuming Unison/Concerto Energy efficiently: Shorekeeper → Jinhsi (generate Unison via Illuminous Epiphany) → Taoqi (consume Unison & buff) → Jinhsi (maximize Resonance Skill damage) → Shorekeeper (detonate).

1. Start with Shorekeeper on-field. Charge Concerto Energy and her Resonance Liberation until full. Use her Resonance Liberation to buff incoming Resonators., 2. Once Concerto Energy is maxed, switch to Jinhsi to activate her Intro Skill and upgrade the Shorekeeper's Stellarealm., 3. Use Jinhsi's Overflowing Radiance (a variation of her Resonance Skill) immediately, then follow with another Resonance Skill. Execute Jinhsi's Basic Attack combo to use the final Resonance variation, Illuminous Epiphany, to get Unison. Swap to Taoqi afterward, consuming Unison instead of Concerto Energy., 4. As Taoqi, time parries and use her optimal combos to maximize DPS and gain shields via her Forte Circuit. Swap back to Jinhsi to receive the Resonance Skill DMG buff from Taoqi's Outro Skill., 5. With Jinhsi, fully charge her Forte Circuit gauge before using Illuminous Epiphany to maximize its damage. Continue DPS to recharge Concerto Energy., 6. Swap to Shorekeeper with full Concerto Energy to detonate her Resonance Liberation with an Enhanced Intro Skill. Repeat the rotation until the enemy is defeated.
