Aim for ~140% Energy Regen on Yangyang (combined from weapon, echoes, and substats) so she can be effective as a Sub-DPS with adequate on-field time.
After reaching ER target, prioritize crit stats (CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG) and some Liberation DMG substats to boost her Forte/Liberation damage.
Upgrade Resonance Liberation first (highest priority), then Resonance Skill and Forte Circuit. Basic Attack and Intro Skill are lowest priority for leveling.
Use Bell-Borne Geochelone as the primary main echo for team survivability when Yangyang is a Sub-DPS. Use Feilian Beringal (Nightmare) or Impermanence Heron when you want more personal DPS or battery support respectively.
Prefer a 5-piece Moonlit Clouds set for support/battery play (buffs the swapping-in character). Use a 5-piece Sierra Gale only if focusing Yangyang on being damage-oriented.

Yangyang Early Game Team

Early-game equipment: Rover (Spectro) can use the Celestial Light (5-piece) set as a stopgap, but should be replaced by Eternal Radiance later. Yangyang is built with Moonlit Clouds (5-piece) and Baizhi with Rejuvenating Glow (5-piece) in this guide. Overall synergy: Yangyang's Outro charges allies' Resonance Energy, enabling Main DPS units that need Liberation uptime; Baizhi functions as the team's healer and damage buffer.

Yangyang starts the fight and charges her Concerto Energy until the other character's Resonator icons glow. Use her Liberation to group enemies and her Resonance Skill to deal damage before swapping., Switch to the Main DPS (Rover (Spectro) in this build) once their Resonance Energy is full — Yangyang's Outro will restore their Resonance Energy on swap so they can cast their Intro Skill and follow up., When the Main DPS can use their Resonance Liberation, cast it for strong AoE/burst Spectro damage. Follow with Basic Attacks to charge the Forte Gauge, then use Resonance Skill and continue attacking., Swap back to Yangyang after the Intro Skill/charge cycle to feed Energy again. If the team needs healing, switch to Baizhi to use healing abilities, then return to Yangyang or the Main DPS as needed., Repeat this rotation: Yangyang feeds Energy (Outro) -> Main DPS uses Intro/Resonance Liberation -> swap to Yangyang or healer as necessary until enemies are defeated.
