Wuthering Waves Echoes Tier List | Rankings and Analysis

Echoes ranked by abilities and gameplay impact.

Explanation

Impermanence HeronImpermanence Heron

• Increases Resonance Energy of the equipping character and the ATK of the next character taking the field.

• The skill itself deals 300%+ total Havoc DMG.

• Still the best in slot for any Sub-DPS running Moonlit Clouds. The nightmare version of this echo only has the Midnight Veil sonata effect which is a bit more inclined for Havoc Sub-DPS's.

Fallacy of No ReturnFallacy of No Return

• The best Rejuvenating Glow echo for the best HP-scaling supports in the game.

• Works with Shorekeeper, the best healer in the game right now.

• Can charge Concerto Energy extremely fast by holding the echo button. Resonators can still act while Fallacy is delivering a flurry of punches.

HecateHecate

• The best echo for Sub-DPS that does coordinated attack.

• ATK increase for the current resonator as long as the coordinated attacks deal critical hits.

• Echo effect summons blades that also works off-field.

Nightmare: Inferno RiderNightmare: Inferno Rider

• Extremely effective attacker when summoned in battle.

• ATK is increased for 15s after skill activation

• The skill deals up to 270% damage.

• Can be used in the overworld to traverse quickly.

Nightmare: CrownlessNightmare: Crownless

• Deals a total of 270% damage everytime it is summoned.

• Skill can be charged up to three times, so you can use the echo skill multiple times.

Nightmare: Tempest MephisNightmare: Tempest Mephis

• One of the two best echo for Electro DPS.

• See if your Resonator scales off Resonance Skill or Resonance Liberation. If Resonance Skill, use Tempest Mephis.

• Also has access to Empyrean Anthem sonata effects, so this echo could also work with coordinated attack Sub-DPS characters.

Nightmare: Thundering MephisNightmare: Thundering Mephis

• One of the two best echo for Electro DPS.

• See if your Resonator scales off Resonance Skill or Resonance Liberation. If Resonance Liberation, use Thundering Mephis.

Reminiscence: FleurdelysReminiscence: Fleurdelys

• Primary Gusts of Welkin and Windward Pilgrimage 4-cost echo.

• Grants Aero DMG Bonus to the wearer with bonus 10% if worn by Aero Rover.

• Can also be used by Ciaccona as the definitive Aero Erosion enabler.

• Definitive echo set for the Erosion DPS, Cartethyia.

• Seems to provide a small window of time-slowing effect when used, enabling you to deal damage freely.

Lady of the SeaLady of the Sea

• Primary Aero Crown of Valor 4-cost echo.

• Can group enemies with its echo skill, great for mobs of enemies.

• Echo Skill is summon-type, so it will not interrupt any combo.

HyvatiaHyvatia

• Deals decent Spectro DMG to enemies.

• Part of both Rite of Gilded Revelation and Pact of Neonlight Leap, which are good for Spectro Resonators, both DPS and Sub-DPS, respectively.

• Gives 10% All-Attribute DMG Bonus to Intro Skill of the next Resonator.

Nightmare: Lampylumen MyriadNightmare: Lampylumen Myriad

• Great for providing passive Glacio DMG Bonus and Coordinated Attack DMG buffs.

• The skill itself deals 270%+ Glacio DMG

• Less useful than Hecate in most situations as not all resonators that deal Coordinated Attacks scale off Glacio DMG Bonus.

CapitaneusCapitaneus

• The main echo for the two characters that uses Spectro Frazzle: Zani and Phoebe.

• The better option over Nightmare: Mourning Aix because it can also provide Heavy Attack DMG unconditionally.

• Pretty hard to farm because it's a 3-cost echo.

Nameless ExplorerNameless Explorer

• Has a great passive for Aero units that scale off Echo Skill DMG.

• Summon-type Echo, so it's easily weaved into combos.

• Deals quick and decent Aero DMG upon casting.

Twin Nova: Nebulous CannonTwin Nova: Nebulous Cannon

• Deals Spectro DMG to enemies.

• Provides Spectro DMG and Basic Attack DMG just by equipping it as the main Echo.

• Has a unique interaction by having both Twin Nova Echoes.

Nightmare: Impermanence HeronNightmare: Impermanence Heron

• Focuses mainly on Sub-DPS in Havoc teams, so it is a bit inflexible.

• The normal variants may be a bit more useful in non-Havoc team situations.

• The skill itself deals 300%+ total Havoc DMG.

Sentry ConstructSentry Construct

• The best echo for those running the new Frosty Resolve sonata effect.

• Deals a lot of damage as an echo.

• Does not need to be summoned to provide echo bonuses.

GlommothGlommoth

• Deals decent Glacio DMG to enemies.

• A bit niche with the sets the Echo is available in, but is otherwise versatile on its own.

• Provides a good Glacio DMG buff to the next Resonator, boosting the user's sub-DPS potential.

The False SovereignThe False Sovereign

• Slightly tailor-fitted to Augusta, since it gives both Electro DMG and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus

• The only 4-cost Echo in Crown of Valor, making it a high value option.

• This Echo is a transform-type Echo, so you will be using some time to deal damage with it.

• The stat bonus doesn't require Echo Skill activation, so you automatically get it once equipped.

Lioness of GloryLioness of Glory

• A bit niche to use, since it can only be used by Lupa.

• Only 4-cost in Flaming Clawprint, so it is a bit valuable.

• Effect performs well with Lupa alone, but is a big waste on other units.

• Only farm if you are building Lupa!

Nightmare: KelpieNightmare: Kelpie

• So far only works as the second 4-cost for the 44111 echo configuration of Cartethyia.

• Buffs are a bit underwhelming, as it buffs both Glacio and Aero DMG Bonuses.

• No sonata effect that benefits Glacio characters despite buffing them.
