Best Tips & Tricks for Encore

Prioritize leveling Resonance Liberation first, then Forte Circuit and Resonance Skill. Normal Attack and Intro are lower priority.
Use the 5-piece Molten Rift Sonata if possible — it increases Fusion DMG after Resonance Skill and fits Encore's rotation.
Stringmaster is best-in-slot: +12% DMG and ATK stacks when using Resonance Skill. If unavailable, use Cosmic Ripples or Rime-Draped Sprouts.
Main Echo: Nightmare: Inferno Rider is recommended because it passively boosts Fusion and Resonance Skill DMG without needing to trigger an Echo Skill.
Maintain high Energy Regen (via subs or Sonata) to get frequent Ult (Cosmos Rave) uptime — Encore's damage is concentrated inside her Ult.

Echo sets: Encore (Molten Rift 5-pc), Changli (Molten Rift 5-pc), Lupa (Flaming Clawprint 5-pc). This Mono Fusion setup uses Lupa as the Fusion buffer; Changli is an interchangeable premium Fusion DPS option with Encore.

Start off with Lupa's Starfall and activate Resonance Skill twice immediately after. Then, cast her Resonance Liberation to receive Pack Hunt and Glory's team-wide effects., Follow this up with Foebreaker. Generate Wolflame and convert them into Wolfaith with her optimal combos. Once available, perform her Enhanced Resonance Skill and switch to another Resonator. (Next resonator: Encore for Changli's team flow — switch to Encore.), When Encore is on-field, do her optimal combos and maximize the effects of Lupa's Fusion DMG and Basic Attack DMG Amplification. When you use their Liberation, Lupa will also perform a Coordinated Attack., Once Encore's Outro is available, switch to Changli., With Changli on-field, do Changli's internal rotations to deal damage while in Lupa's buff duration. Build their Concerto energy and switch to Lupa once available., Lupa will enter the field via her enhanced Intro Skill, Nowhere to Run!. From here, repeat the previous steps until all enemies are defeated.

Encore Mono Fusion — Brant variant

Echo sets: Brant (Tidebreaking Courage 5-pc recommended if you have 250% Energy Regen for 5-pc; otherwise use Molten Rift), Encore (Molten Rift 5-pc), Lupa (Flaming Clawprint 5-pc). Brant and Changli are interchangeable premium Fusion DPS options alongside Encore in this Mono Fusion composition.

Start off with Lupa's Starfall and activate Resonance Skill twice immediately after. Then, cast her Resonance Liberation to receive Pack Hunt and Glory's team-wide effects., Follow this up with Foebreaker. Generate Wolflame and convert them into Wolfaith with her optimal combos. Once available, perform her Enhanced Resonance Skill and switch to another Resonator. (Next resonator: Brant for the Brant variant.), When Brant (or Encore on-field) do their optimal combos and maximize the effects of Lupa's Fusion DMG and Basic Attack DMG Amplification. When you use their Liberation, Lupa will also perform a Coordinated Attack., Once Brant or Encore's Outro is available, switch to the next resonator (in this variant: switch to Encore after Brant's Outro)., With Encore or Brant on-field, do their internal rotations to deal damage while in Lupa's buff duration. Build their Concerto energy and switch to Lupa once available., Lupa will enter the field via her enhanced Intro Skill, Nowhere to Run!. Encore - Changli Double DPS

Echo sets: Changli (Molten Rift 5-pc), Encore (Molten Rift 5-pc), Shorekeeper (Rejuvenating Glow 5-pc). Changli's Outro provides Fusion DMG buff which benefits Encore; Changli will typically deal more damage but supports Encore via buffs.

Start the battle with Shorekeeper and build up her Resonance Liberation while charging Concerto Energy. Once both are full, cast her Resonance Liberation first to set up her Stellarealm before swapping to the next Resonator., Swap out to Changli to cast her Intro Skill and immediately gain a stack of Forte., Execute Changli's optimal combos to get 4 stacks of Forte to activate her enhanced Heavy Attack. Do this until her Resonance Liberation is ready to use., After casting Changli's Resonance Liberation, use her enhanced Heavy Attack. At this point, the Concerto Energy should be fully charged again. Ideally, switch to Encore to boost her Fusion DMG and Resonance Liberation DMG., Swap back to Shorekeeper once Concerto Energy is full to detonate her Stellarealm for a burst of damage. Repeat until the enemy is felled.

Encore - Brant Double DPS

Echo sets: Encore (Molten Rift 5-pc), Brant (Tidebreaking Courage 5-pc recommended if you have 250% Energy Regen for 5-pc; otherwise Molten Rift), Shorekeeper (Rejuvenating Glow 5-pc). Encore benefits from Brant's Outro which buffs Fusion and Resonance Skill DMG; Encore should follow Brant's swap order.

Start the battle with Shorekeeper and build up her Resonance Liberation while charging Concerto Energy. Once both are full, cast her Resonance Liberation first to set up her Stellarealm before swapping to the next Resonator., Swap out to Brant and try to fill his Resonance Liberation gauge and max out his Bravo points. Once Bravo is full, cast at least one Returned From Ashes., Swap to Encore and execute her optimal combos, maximizing her damage before switching back to Brant., When Brant is on-field again, cast his Resonance Liberation to enter the Aflame state and deal heavy sustained damage; end Aflame with another Returned From Ashes as needed., Swap back to Shorekeeper once Concerto Energy is full to detonate her Stellarealm for a burst of damage. Repeat until the enemy is felled.

Encore DPS-Buffed Team

Echo sets: Encore (Molten Rift 5-pc), Lupa (Flaming Clawprint 5-pc), Support (Rejuvenating Glow 5-pc). This composition focuses on maximizing Encore via Lupa's multiple buffs; any healer/support that sustains and buffs Encore can be used.

Initiate combat with Lupa and do her optimal rotations to cast her Liberation and activate Pack Hunt and Glory. Use Foebreaker afterwards and generate Wolflame to be converted into Wolfaith., Cast Lupa's enhanced Resonance Skill and switch to Encore afterwards. Lupa's Outro Skill will amplify Encore's Fusion DMG and Basic Attack DMG simultaneously., Use Encore's Resonance Skill to deal damage. If available, use her Ultimate to enter Berserk mode for heavy damage. Use the equipped echo when it is off cooldown., Switch to the support to heal and provide buffs as needed. Once the support's Outro Skill is available, switch back to Lupa to continue the buff cycle., Lupa will perform an enhanced Intro Skill that deals significant damage. Repeat the cycle until enemies are defeated.

Encore Time Stop Team

Echo sets: Encore (Molten Rift 5-pc), Rover (Moonlit Clouds 5-pc), Shorekeeper (Rejuvenating Glow 5-pc). This team centers on maximizing Encore's free-hit window during Rover's Time Stop Outro; Shorekeeper is ideal for additional buffs to the Rover but Verina/Baizhi can be used as alternatives.

Rover starts the battle and charges Concerto Energy until other character Resonator icons are ready., When Encore's Concerto Energy is full, switch to Encore. Rover's Time Stop Outro should trigger, slowing time for ~3s and giving Encore free-hit window., Use Encore's Resonance Skill and Ultimate (if available) to maximize damage during the Time Stop period. Use equipped echo when appropriate., When Concerto Energy recharges, switch back to Rover. If healing is needed, swap to the healer/support and use healing skills., Repeat the rotation until the enemy is defeated.
