Explanation
Verina is a valuable asset to any team, providing healing and buffs to the entire party while also unleashing coordinated attacks that deal Spectro damage. Her short on-field time makes her an excellent choice for teams with DPS units that require a lot of time on the field, allowing for seamless transitions and maximizing overall team performance.
Jiyan is a formidable DPS unit, capable of dealing massive single-target and AoE damage to take down even the toughest enemies. His Ultimate ability also provides crowd control by grouping smaller enemies, making him a versatile unit to have in your arsenal.
Jinhsi is a powerful Spectro Main-DPS character who excels at dealing burst damage with her Skill and Resonance Liberation. Although she's still a great pick, her age is starting to show compared to newer units, which may have an edge in terms of overall performance.
Changli is a highly effective main-DPS unit, capable of unleashing huge amounts of Fusion damage with her fully-stacked Forte Circuit. She can also self-buff her ATK after using her Ultimate, allowing her to deal even more damage and making her a valuable asset to any team.
Zhezhi is an excellent Sub-DPS unit who provides buffs that scale with Resonance Skill, along with bonus amplification of Glacio damage. She's currently the best in-slot Sub-DPS for top-tier DPS units like Jinhsi and Carlotta, making her a highly versatile unit to have in your team.
Camellya is a skilled Havoc DPS unit who excels at dishing out combos that are both far-reaching and AoE-focused. While she's still a great unit to build, her age is starting to show compared to more modern Havoc units like Phrolova, which may have an edge in terms of overall performance.
Roccia is a great Havoc Sub-DPS unit who provides increases to both Basic Attack and Havoc damage. She also has access to a useful grouping utility that helps your DPS decimate hordes of enemies with ease, making her a valuable asset to any Havoc team.
Cantarella is a highly versatile Havoc character who provides a range of benefits to different teams. She enables the use of a second Sub-DPS instead of a support character, offers Resonance and Havoc damage amplification, and deals extra damage with her off-field coordinated attacks, making her a valuable asset to any team.
Lupa is the premier Fusion damage enabler, bringing Fusion teams to new heights with her incredible value. However, this also makes her extremely limited in terms of team building, as she requires all three Resonators to be Fusion to reach her full potential.
Chisa is a unique Negative Status Support unit who increases the max stack count for all status effects while providing multiple DEF reductions against enemies. Although her value is hindered by the lack of implementation of comps that utilize these mechanics, she's a luxury unit to have for Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle support units.
Sanhua is one of the best Sub-DPS units in the game, providing Basic Attack damage deepen to the next character who takes the field. She also deals decent damage but relies heavily on detonating ice structures using her Heavy Attacks to reach her full potential.
Calcharo is a skilled Electro Main-DPS unit who excels at dealing massive Electro damage with both his Skill and Liberation. With the introduction of Yinlin, he now has a great Sub-DPS that pushes him to even greater heights, making him a formidable unit to have in your team.
Encore is a great Fusion DPS unit who focuses on pure damage with no crowd control. When she enters Cosmos Rave, she deals an insane amount of Fusion damage, but her squishy nature and limited Cosmos Rave duration make her a high-risk, high-reward unit to play.
Rover (Spectro) is a jack-of-all-trades unit who provides great Sub-DPS capabilities and shows glimpses of Main-DPS potential with her high-damage Resonance Liberation. However, this versatility has caused her to fall off compared to units with more defined roles in the meta.
Yinlin is a great Sub-DPS unit who provides bonuses for Liberation damage and Electro damage, along with sending out Electro coordinated attacks for extra damage. Although her value has dropped due to the advent of more multi-wave content, she's still a valuable unit to have in your team.
Rover (Havoc) is a great damage dealer who allows for easy activation of her Dark Surge state. She has high burst damage capability thanks to her Resonance Liberation, but her Basic Attack is where she shines the most, making her a formidable unit to have in your team.
Xiangli Yao is a skilled Main DPS unit who slows down enemy movement and deals massive damage to enemies. Although he's completely overshadowed by the newer Electro character Augusta, he's still a great unit to have in your team, especially with the right support and strategy.
Rover (Aero) is a unit who suffers from having no other available characters that fully utilize her kit. Although she's a great applicator of negative effects on enemies, her limited character pool and lack of synergy with other units make her a niche pick.
Mortefi is a great Sub-DPS unit who deals damage even when off-field thanks to his coordinated Fusion attacks. As a 4-star unit, he's easily accessible and provides great value to any team, especially when paired with on-field DPS units that use Heavy Attacks.
Danjin is a great DPS unit for free-to-play players, capable of dealing massive damage as long as you can properly manage her HP-drain mechanic. Although this may be challenging, especially against tougher enemies, she's still a valuable unit to have in your team with the right strategy and skill.
Jianxin is a solid unit who can hold her own as both a Main and Sub-DPS. She provides grouping and AoE damage against multiple enemies, and her Outro Skill buffs Resonance Liberation damage, making her a versatile unit to have in your team. However, her jack-of-all-trades nature has caused her to fall off compared to units with more defined roles.
Lingyang is a unit who's getting outclassed by his standard 5-star peers, especially those with great AoE damage capabilities. Although he's still a decent unit, his lack of a dedicated Glacio support and subpar damage make him a less desirable pick compared to other Main-DPS units.
Aalto is a decent Sub-DPS unit who can buff Aero damage while dealing decent damage himself. However, he's being outclassed by other Sub-DPS units like Mortefi, who can deal damage even when off-field, making him a less desirable pick.
Yuanwu is a Sub-DPS unit who follows up with coordinated Electro damage even when he's off-field. He can also reduce the enemy's Vibration Strength, but this only applies if the enemy is inside the circle of effect, making him a niche pick for specific situations.
Chixia is a DPS unit who excels against hordes of enemies thanks to her mobility and ease of use. She can take on single-target bosses with ease as long as you can reposition and evade properly, making her a valuable unit to have in your team.
Baizhi is a pure healer who can burst-heal using her Resonance Skill and Liberation, as well as continuously heal and buff the next character who takes the field. Although she's worse than Verina due to her limited buff application, she's still a valuable unit to have in your team, especially for players without access to Verina.
Yangyang is the first free 4-star character that all players will get, providing decent damage and utility with her Aero grouping. However, she falls off immediately once you unlock better Sub-DPS units that provide damage buffs, making her a less desirable pick for more advanced players.
Taoqi is a unit who's found a new Sub-DPS role in Jinhsi's team, providing Resonance Skill amplification and dishing out quick-switch damage with her Resonance Liberation. Although she's still a great unit, her split scaling with her Forte and Shields holds her back from reaching her full potential.
Youhu is a healer-support hybrid who can provide multiple buffs and effects in battle, from healing to vibration strength depletion efficiency. However, her kit-based RNG system makes her effects extremely inconsistent, and her Outro Skill only buffs the incoming resonator's coordinated attack, making her a niche pick for specific situations.
Lumi is a Sub-DPS unit who provides Resonance Skill damage amplification via her Outro Skill, with a straightforward kit and good multipliers for her Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation. Although her damage falls off when doing Basic Attacks with her two Light Modes, she can deal decent damage when her Forte Circuit is full, making her a valuable unit to have in your team.
