Wulfgard—endgame dps

This is Wulfgard's on-field damage configuration. Rational Farewell acts as the core offensive piece because its Pursuit buff is easy for him to keep running and it grows with each Potential level. Hot Work supplies the Heat DMG and Arts Intensity he needs so that the Combustion he spreads deals meaningful damage over time, while the Bonekrusha Wristband off-piece adds another Heat DMG layer that applies to both his shots and the reaction ticks. The plan in combat is simple: let a non-Heat Infliction land on the target so Frag Grenade·β fires and applies Combustion, then immediately follow with Thermite Tracers to consume the reaction and land the large bonus hit. Because everything hinges on a single target carrying the reaction, this build shines in boss and elite fights and drops off in wide AoE situations.

Rational Farewell is picked first because its buff is trivial for Wulfgard to trigger and it scales further with Potentials, and it is a 5-star obtainable through the Arsenal Exchange.

Hot Work supplies Arts Intensity plus a Heat DMG boost after Combustion is applied, which multiplies the repeated damage of his reaction rather than just his initial hits.

The Bonekrusha Wristband off-piece is chosen to stack additional Heat DMG on top of the set bonuses.

Clannibal works as a substitute but demands tighter play: let Combustion tick to benefit from Arts Intensity, then consume it in time to activate the weapon's debuff.

Wedge functions as a generic damage stat-stick, while Long Road is the budget 4-star fallback until higher rarity handcannons are available.

Rational Farewell's Pursuit effect gives a big flat ATK swing that his Frag Grenade·β can keep active almost permanently.
The Hot Work set turns every Combustion he applies into a long Heat DMG window, which is exactly what his damage-over-time wants.
Bonekrusha Wristband is slotted in as the off-piece because it lifts Heat DMG for both his skills and his Combustion ticks.
Clannibal is a stronger theoretical option only if you are willing to micromanage consuming his own Combustion before it falls off.

Tangtang—endgame sub dps

This endgame setup pushes Tangtang's personal damage while keeping her debuff role intact. Brigand's Calling supplies both a self-damage boost through Suppression and an Arts damage-taken debuff on enemies, which stacks with the Arts Susceptibility she applies through multiple Waterspouts. The Bonekrusha set is built around her natural rotation: a Combo Skill cast grants stacks that increase the damage of her next Battle Skill, exactly the skill that converts Whirlpools into Waterspouts. LYNX Slab is slotted as the off-piece because its main attribute percentage boost is worth more than completing the set. The result is a sub-DPS who contributes solid AoE Cryo damage while multiplying the output of any Arts carry she is paired with.

Brigand's Calling wins because it adds a Suppression effect that raises her own damage while also marking enemies with an Arts DMG Taken debuff, which compounds with her own Arts Susceptibility.

Bonekrusha's effect is timed to the exact sequence she already wants: Combo Skill first for Whirlpool stacks, then Battle Skill to convert them into Waterspouts for extra Battle Skill damage.

LYNX Slab replaces the fourth Bonekrusha piece because its main attribute percentage increase outperforms the diminishing extra Battle Skill DMG Bonus from the full set.

Home Longing, Opus: The Living, and Long Road all raise her personal numbers but drop the team-wide Arts debuff, so their value falls behind once whole-rotation team damage is counted.

Essence priority for the weapon runs Detonate first, then Attack Boost and Agility Boost.
Bonekrusha rewards casting the Combo Skill before the Battle Skill, matching her natural Whirlpool into Waterspout order.
The set grants a flat Attack increase plus stacking Battle Skill damage after a Combo Skill cast.
Roving MSGR-style physical sets are not worth running here since almost all of her output is Arts damage.
