Avoid Ganyu's Elemental Burst in most Melt teams. Its Cryo hits can consume the Pyro aura, so her Charged Attacks fail to trigger Melt.

MELT DPS
Level 2 Charged Shot Charged Attack applies two Cryo hits with separate ICD, enabling Melt on both instances.
Charged Attacks dominate damage; Skill/Burst contribution is negligible in most scenarios.

Weapons:
Amos' Bow: Level 2 Bloom extends flight time, reaching 3 passive stacks even at point-blank.
Flower-Wreathed Feathers: scales with refinements; at R5 beats The First Great Magic.
Hamayumi: passive prefers Wanderer's Troupe (4); high refinements can beat Thundering Pulse and Skyward Harp.
Scion of the Blazing Sun: at R5 outperforms Thundering Pulse and Skyward Harp.
Prototype Crescent: high refinement with good passive uptime can match Skyward Harp; weak spot requirement hurts vs. headshot-less enemies.

Artifacts:
Shimenawa's Reminiscence (4) vs Wanderer's Troupe (4): Shimenawa wins only if 5 Charged Attacks fit in 10s buff; otherwise Wanderer's Troupe deals more.
Unfinished Reverie: better than both with consistent Burn uptime.

Talent Priority:
Burst is low priority; often skip to avoid stealing Melt.

FREEZE DPS
Burst is main damage; Charged Attacks only between team skills/bursts. With Shenhe, prefer weapons with CRIT and/or DMG%.

Weapons:
Polar Star: hard to optimize due to high CRIT Rate.
Amos' Bow: worse than other 5-stars in quickswap rotations (Ganyu Mona Venti Diona) with few Charged Shots.
Song of Stillness: ranking assumes healing before Burst.
Prototype Crescent: needs weak spot hit before Burst; R5 close to Skyward Harp.
Mouun's Moon: varies with team burst cost; R5 similar to Thundering Pulse.

Artifacts:
Marechaussee Hunter (4): only with Furina; slightly worse than Blizzard Strayer (4).

MONO CRYO DPS
Uses Blizzard Strayer (4) + Cryo Resonance; Ganyu on-field with Charged Attacks and Burst.

Weapons:
Amos' Bow: worse than Skyward Harp with Shenhe.
Flower-Wreathed Feathers: R5 similar to Prototype Crescent R5.
Prototype Crescent: needs weak spot before Burst; R5 slightly better (no Shenhe) or worse (with Shenhe) than Skyward Harp.
Mouun's Moon: varies with team burst cost; better with Shenhe.
Song of Stillness: ranking assumes healing before Burst.
Flower-Wreathed Feathers: scales with refinements; R5 closer to Amos' Bow.
