A TierChiz Build Guide
Chiz is a strong DPS character that can continuously deal Cosmos DMG to enemies with her kit, which revolves around the management of Grain. The more Grain Chiz has, the stronger her attacks become. While Chiz's kit may seem confusing at first with its stock market-like mechanics, it is easy to get used to and will allow you to dispatch enemies with ease.
Strengths
- Strong Cosmos DPS with continuous damage
- Easy to get used to after learning Grain mechanics
- Versatile team options
Weaknesses
- Grain management can be confusing initially
- Best arc requires 1,000,000 Fons for max effect
- Charge team is strong but not easily accessible
Best Arcs
Increases Cosmos DMG by 2.5% for every 100000 Fons the wearer holds, up to 10 stacks.
Increases wearer's damage dealt by 18% for 10s after casting Support Skill. Triggers at most once every 20s.
Restores wearer's HP by 12% upon defeating an enemy. Triggers at most once every 20s.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Cosmos DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Ignores 25% of enemies' DEF for 20s after the wearer casts Ultimate. Effect does not stack.
Best Main Stat: CRIT Rate/DMG
- Chiz gains up to 50% bonus Cosmos DMG from Bonus Module, so focus on CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG
- CRIT Rate is preferred for consistency
Module Layout
Required Modules
Bonus: Type III (+10% Cosmos DMG)
Total Bonus: +40% Cosmos DMG
Substat Priority
- Try to get Modules with listed sub stats to improve Cosmos DMG
Best Teams
Chiz functions as a special On-Field Cosmos DPS that lets you farm Fons, making her a good DPS option in a Charge team.
Chiz
Main DPS
Hathor
Sub-DPS
Fixed sub-DPS for Charge team
Jiuyuan
Sub-DPS (Flex)
Flexible slot, can use Mint instead
Adler
Support
Provides shields for survivability
Start with Adler Skill for shields, then Jiuyuan Skill for setup
Chiz enters with Skill (Blossom trigger on swap), then Ultimate
After Ultimate, use Skill and Basic Attack x2 repeated three times
If Charge doesn't trigger, Hathor can do her damage rotation
Swap back to supports to restart rotation
- Charge can be hard to trigger, team can also focus on Blossom or Remora
- Adler's shields keep Chiz alive during combos
Skill Priority
Temporary Entry (Support Skill)
Strong but lowest priority among skills.
Zero-Sum Game (Ultimate)
Another big source of damage, especially if timed well with Skill usage.
Exiled Swordplay (Basic Attack)
Important for building Grain. Level alongside Ultimate.
Pink Paws Priority Principe (Skill)
A huge chunk of Chiz's damage comes from her Skill. Prioritize leveling this first.
Awakening Priority
To Riceball, Bandage, Fons
Increases Grain acquisition efficiency, allowing faster Grain filling. Take first.
If There Were No Rainy Days
Increases chance of Grain price increasing when using Ultimate. Take second for better damage.
Blank Diary Pages
Fills Grain storage on combat start, enabling max damage from the beginning. Take third.
Thirty-Three Days
Improves bonus Cosmos DMG from Grain. Take fourth for more damage.
Sun, Sun... speak to me!
Allows storing more Grain after quick filling methods. Take fifth.
Fireworks in Silence
Passive Grain production when Grain is positive. Take last.
How to Play
Chiz should be the last person in the rotation, preferably with an Esper Cycle ready. Enter and spam Skill or use Held Skill to consume Grain. Use Ultimate when Grain is low to reset and get increased Skill damage. Then swap back to supports to restart.
Rotations
- 1 Adler Skill → Jiuyuan Skill → Chiz Skill (Blossom Trigger on Swap) → Chiz Ultimate → (Chiz Skill → Basic Attack x2) 3 times → Hathor Skill → Chiz Skill (Remora/Charge Trigger on Swap) → Chiz Ultimate → (Chiz Skill → Basic Attack x2) 3 times → Jiuyuan Ultimate
Tips
- Can hold Skill to continuously consume Grain
- Team up with Anima or Lakshana characters for Blossom or Remora teams
- Ultimate resets Grain count to 15,000, enabling extended combos
