Linko Build Guide

NatureETD-6 MemberView Character

Linko is an Anima Sub-DPS who deals the bulk of her damage through Synced Strikes while supporting the active character from off-field. Her kit revolves around building and spending Modulation, choosing an ally to Sync with, and repeatedly triggering Follow-up attacks as the rest of the team cycles through their skills. This gives her strong off-field pressure with very little field time while also adding bonuses to Hexed and Follow-up-focused teams. Because her Signature Arc and preferred Cartridge already provide large offensive bonuses, her build mainly focuses on balancing CRIT stats so every Synced Strike hits as hard as possible.

Strengths

  • Deals impressive personal damage without taking field time away from the team's Main DPS.
  • Synced Strikes, off-field attacks, and Oversync give her reliable Follow-up damage pressure.
  • Can Sync with any Main DPS to reduce the enemy's resistance to that character's damage type.
  • Naturally synergizes with Hexed and Follow-up teams, boosting allied Follow-up damage.
  • Signature Arc and preferred Cartridge supply huge CRIT DMG bonuses that are easy to maintain.

Weaknesses

  • Must spend field time on Basic Attacks to build Modulation before her core combo.
  • Loses a noticeable amount of personal damage without Voice of the Voyager.
  • Her best Cartridge needs nearby enemies to keep taking Anima DMG to reach full stacks.
  • Support-oriented builds with Speedy Hedgehog sacrifice much of her own damage output.
  • Most of her value depends on teammates being able to trigger Synced Strikes with her.

Epic (2): Anima DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 8% when a nearby enemy takes Anima DMG from the team, up to 7 stacks, each lasting 10s. The effect remains active while the character is off-field.

Best Main Stat: Anima DMG Bonus

  • Anima DMG% gives the most consistent damage increase for her off-field Synced Strike hits.
  • CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are the top substats to chase for her direct damage.
  • Universal DMG% and ATK% are viable supplemental stats that improve both Oversync and Synced Strike damage.

  • This layout activates Fireflies and the Forest's 4-piece effect while stacking as many Type III Modules as possible.
  • Anima DMG% as the main stat improves every part of her kit throughout her quickswap cycle.
  • Prioritize CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, then fill in Universal DMG% and ATK% for supplemental damage.

Best Teams

Linko Hexed Team

Zankou's Hexed team is where Linko fits best. She deals outstanding off-field damage without cutting into Zankou's field time, and pairing her Anima with Zankou's Incantation gives the team easy access to Hexed. The replicated damage counts as Follow-up damage, so it benefits from Linko's Follow-up DMG buffs and works alongside her Synced Strikes.

Open with Sakiri's Skill and Ultimate so the team's ATK buffs and reaction setup are active before Linko enters.

Use Daffodill's Skill for extra damage and Break, or Iroi's Skill early if you want healing and buffs running.

Swap to Linko and use Basic Attacks until Modulation is near full, then cast Full-Frequency Pulse.

Select Zankou as the Synced Strike partner so the resistance reduction matches the team's main damage type.

Cast Oversync once available, chain Synced Strikes with each teammate, then finish with the Anima burst.

Swap back to Zankou and run his normal damage rotation, letting Linko contribute off-field until her cooldowns return.

  • Zankou and Linko are particularly natural partners because Hexed's replicated damage scales with her Follow-up support.
Linko Follow-Up Team

Nanally is another excellent Main DPS to pair with Linko since much of her damage revolves around the Follow-up mechanic, letting her make direct use of Linko's buffs while Linko keeps contributing Synced Strikes from off-field. Both share the Anima type, making reactions easier to build toward while Nanally stays on-field for most of the rotation.

Alternatives

Set up Sakiri's or Adler's buffs and defensive tools before bringing Linko in.

Build Modulation with Linko's Basic Attacks, then cast Full-Frequency Pulse and Sync with Nanally.

Use Oversync as soon as it is available and chain Synced Strikes with each teammate before the final Anima hit.

Swap to Nanally and run her Follow-up-focused damage rotation while Linko keeps attacking off-field.

Bring Linko back in once her cooldowns and teammates' buffs are ready, then repeat the sequence.

  • Esper Zero is especially crucial here for consistent Blossom triggers through fast Cycle generation.

Skill Priority

3

Full-Frequency Pulse (Redirect Skill)

Level last. It is essential to her rotation for spending Modulation and calling in a Synced Strike, but most of its value comes from enabling other mechanics rather than its own multiplier, so its level matters less than the Synced Strike and Ultimate damage it sets up.

4

Poltergeist CQC (Basic Attack)

Worth leveling next as it is her primary way to build Modulation before triggering stronger Synced Strikes. Its subskills also cover Xiaozhen's off-field attacks, so upgrading it improves both her active phases and Xiaozhen's hits.

5

Spectral Cross (Support Skill)

Level this first because every Synced Strike's damage multiplier scales directly with its level. Since Synced Strikes are the centerpiece of her kit and can be triggered by her attacks, Redirect Skill, and Ultimate, this gives the biggest overall damage boost per rotation.

5

Oversync (Ultimate)

The immediate next priority since it creates her main burst window. Oversync opens a Resonance Field that lets her chain Synced Strikes with up to three teammates before a powerful Anima burst, making it one of her largest sources of personal and Follow-up damage.

Awakening Priority

1

The World Answers

Her strongest Awakening because it directly improves the mechanic her kit revolves around. It grants all Synced Strikes an additional 25% CRIT Rate and lets teammates' Synced Strikes provide a Charge effect, making her coordinated attacks more consistent while adding support value for the rest of the team.

2

Starlit Whispers

Adds an extra AoE Anima hit whenever a Synced Strike triggers during Oversync's Resonance Field. That extra attack can consume a Hit 'Em Here! mark and trigger another Synced Strike, pushing out even more Follow-up damage from her main burst window.

3

Friendly Haunting

A simple but reliable damage increase, raising the multiplier of the Anima burst at the end of Oversync by 30%. It doesn't change how she plays, but her Ultimate is already one of her hardest-hitting attacks, so it is a straightforward boost every rotation.

4

Love, Loud and Clear

Lets Synced Strikes triggered by Full-Frequency Pulse activate Esper Cycle effects, giving Linko another route to enable reactions quicker. If the selected teammate cannot react with her, the Synced Strike instead gains 50% increased damage, so it stays valuable either way.

5

Across the Airwaves

Refreshes Full-Frequency Pulse whenever Linko casts her Ultimate, letting her fit another Redirect Skill into her burst sequence more comfortably. It is more of a quality-of-life and rotation ease improvement than a damage spike.

6

All Frequencies Live

Reduces the interval between Spectral Rush's attacks while Linko is off-field, letting Xiaozhen attack and apply Hit 'Em Here! marks more often. The reduction is too modest compared to the Synced Strike, Ultimate, and Cycle improvements from her other Awakenings to prioritize higher.

How to Play

Linko is a quickswap off-field damage dealer. Set up your supports' buffs first, then bring Linko in just long enough to build Modulation with Basic Attacks, cast Full-Frequency Pulse onto your Main DPS, and fire off Oversync to chain Synced Strikes. After her burst sequence ends, swap back to your Main DPS and let Linko keep contributing from off-field.

Rotations

  1. 1Sakiri Skill / Ultimate → Daffodil Skill or Iroi Skill → Swap to Linko → Basic Attack until Modulation is near full → Full-Frequency Pulse → Select Zankou / Nanally for the Synced Strike → Trigger Linko's Oversync → Activate Synced Strikes with available teammates → Finish Oversync Burst → Swap to Zankou / Nanally → Perform the Main DPS's damage rotation → Repeat.
  2. 2Start with your supports to get buffs, healing, and reaction setup running before Linko enters.
  3. 3Once Linko swaps in, chain Basic Attacks to build Modulation, then cast Full-Frequency Pulse and pick the Main DPS as her Sync partner.
  4. 4Use Oversync as soon as it is up and chain Synced Strikes with the rest of the team to capitalize on her Follow-up DMG support and resistance reduction.
  5. 5After Oversync's finishing Anima burst, swap immediately to your Main DPS and run their normal rotation while Linko works off-field.
  6. 6Swap Linko back in once her cooldowns and teammates' buffs are ready, rebuild Modulation, and repeat the sequence.

Tips

  • Prepare buffs, shields, and reaction setup from your supports before Linko takes the field.
  • Use Basic Attacks as your quickest, most reliable way to stack Modulation.
  • Sync with your Main DPS whenever possible so the resistance reduction matches the attribute that will be on-field next.
  • Cast Oversync after team buffs are active so every Synced Strike benefits from them.
  • Leave the field as soon as her active setup finishes; she does not need field time to keep dealing damage.
