S TierNanally Build Guide
High-output Anima DPS who hits hard with her Skill → Ultimate windows and benefits from CRIT DMG stacking. Her Skill also lets her walk on any surface, giving useful exploration utility. Best used as the team's finisher after buffs/shields are applied.
Strengths
- Huge Anima DPS with strong Skill + Ultimate burst.
- Skill raises CRIT DMG and grants unique traversal (can walk on any surface).
- Synergizes very well with CRIT/Anima-focused Cartridges and modules.
- Works well in Blossom/Cosmos teams where she can multiply small damage instances.
Weaknesses
- No innate Esper Cycle recharge — needs team support to maximize uptime.
- Relies on being placed last in rotation to reach peak effectiveness.
- Sustain depends on team (can be fragile without a shielder or healers).
Best Arcs
Strong attack-focused Arc that grants attack increases and a 15s damage buff each time you cast Redirect Skill or Ultimate; casting both grants additional boss damage windows.
General ATK boost plus increased damage to Broken enemies and a one-time heal when defeating a Broken enemy.
Stacks a Basic Attack DMG buff after each basic attack (up to 10 stacks), letting Nanally capitalize on frequent normals.
Best Cartridge
Epic 2-piece: +10% Anima DMG. Legendary 4-piece: grants CRIT DMG stacks (up to 7 stacks, each +8% CRIT DMG) when nearby enemies take Anima DMG from the team; stacks last 10s and persist off-field.
Best Main Stat: CRIT DMG or Anima DMG Bonus
- CRIT DMG is the general go-to because Nanally already gets CRIT Rate from module bonuses for a healthy ratio.
- Anima DMG Bonus can outscale CRIT DMG if you can cover the trade-offs with Cartridge + module substats.
Module Layout
Required Modules
Bonus: Type II (+6% CRIT Rate)
Total Bonus: +30% CRIT Rate
Substat Priority
- This layout enables the 4-piece effect while maximizing the bonus Module CRIT Rate.
- Aim for Modules with the substats listed to improve damage consistency.
Best Teams
Nanally is the main finisher. Build the rotation so shields and buffers act first, then bring Nanally in as the final carry to apply Skill → Ultimate with all buffs active.
Nanally
Main DPS
Finisher — go last to maximize buffs.
Zero
Sub-DPS
Burst Sub-DPS to help trigger Blossom and add damage before Nanally.
Sakiri
Buffer
Primary buffer — provides grouping and team ATK buffs.
Adler
Sub-DPS/Support
Shielder to keep Nanally alive during her on-field burst.
Alternatives
Run shield rotations first (if any) → buffer rotations → burst sub-DPS → swap to Nanally to trigger an Esper Cycle.
Nanally should use Skill first to enter Ichi-Daime's Authority, then Ultimate immediately for the largest burst.
After Ultimate, spam normal attacks while Ichi-Daime's Authority is active until it and the Skill end, then repeat rotation.
- If Jiuyuan is taken instead of Adler, end the rotation with Jiuyuan's Ultimate to maximize Blossom uptime.
- Esper Zero helps trigger Blossom and provides additional mini-bursts that compound with Nanally's Underboss.
Skill Priority
Justice From Above (Support Skill)
Support hit of Anima DMG. Lower priority; can be upgraded after core offensive skills.
Colucci Howling Technique (Skill)
Skill deals burst Anima DMG and increases Nanally's CRIT DMG (Ichi-Daime's Authority). Improve early to increase burst windows.
Colucci Secret Skill (Basic Attack)
Basic attack damage increases are important since you'll be spamming normals after Skill/Ultimate — upgrade to scale sustained output.
Colucci Ultimate Technique (Ultimate)
Primary damage ability — deals large Anima DMG and summons Underboss to further increase damage. Upgrade first to boost both the Ultimate and Underboss damage.
Awakening Priority
Call Me the Boss
Big damage increase while in Ichi-daime's Authority — highest priority because you will be entering this state often.
Because We're Family
Increases uptime of Ichi-daime's Authority, improving on-field effectiveness both in and out of combat.
Followers Everywhere
Strengthens Nanally when performing follow-up attacks, increasing damage while on-field.
Gang Formation
Helps charge her Ultimate faster by leveraging follow-up attacks — speeds Ultimate uptime.
Second Member
Extends Underboss duration so the summon attacks longer and contributes more damage.
Not a Troublemaker
Increases Underboss damage — useful but lower priority than Authority and uptime improvements.
How to Play
Nanally should normally be brought in last so she receives full support/buffs. Start her window with Skill to enable Ichi-Daime's Authority, then immediately use Ultimate to maximize burst; follow with normal attacks until the Authority/Skill ends.
Rotations
- 1 Standard Full Rotation: Adler Skill → Sakiri Hold Skill → Sakiri Ultimate → Esper Zero Skill → Esper Zero Ultimate → Swap to Nanally (Esper Cycle Trigger) → Nanally Skill → Nanally Ultimate → Spam Normal Attacks
- 2 Jiuyuan Variant: Jiuyuan Skill → Sakiri Hold Skill → Sakiri Ultimate → Esper Zero Skill → Esper Zero Ultimate → Swap to Nanally (Esper Cycle Trigger) → Nanally Skill → Nanally Ultimate → Spam Normal Attacks → Jiuyuan Ultimate
Tips
- Go last in team rotations unless you have a second Anima lead who needs to start Esper Cycles.
- Skill → Ultimate is the core combo; do not Ultimate without first activating Skill for the CRIT DMG window.
- Use her Skill out of combat for exploration (climbing buildings) but watch the Skill duration.
