Case File #sakiri
S TierSakiri Build Guide
Sakiri is an S-tier universal buffer who combines strong crowd-control (hold Skill that clumps/airborne enemies) with a team ATK% buff on her Ultimate. With her Best Arc and Cartridge she greatly amplifies team damage and fits on most DPS teams.
Strengths
- Reliable area crowd-control with held Skill (groups and knocks enemies airborne).
- Ultimate grants a team ATK% buff tied to her ATK, enabling one high-damage rotation.
- Versatile — works on most teams alongside top DPS units.
- Can be built as a pseudo sub-DPS if you invest in Incantation DMG/Shadow Creed-style cartridges.
Weaknesses
- Most value comes from using hold Skill + Ultimate in sequence — positioning and timing matter.
- Pre-awakening she may need energy support to cast Ult reliably unless you get Sensory Collapse.
- Not meant to be the primary continuous DPS; Basic Attack is largely negligible.
Best Arcs
Morphix — +18% Charge Efficiency; after wearer casts an Ultimate increases Team ATK by 10% for 20s (+6% more if enemies are controlled by the Ultimate).
Ghostly Kite — Increases ATK by 10% and increases Lakshana DMG to targets affected by Remora and Stain by 10% for 15s after the wearer casts a Redirect Skill.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Charge Efficiency +12%. Legendary (4): After wearer casts Ultimate, increases all allies' ATK by 15% for 20s (does not stack).
Best Main Stat: Cycle Intensity or Incantation DMG Bonus
- Cycle Intensity is preferred if using Sakiri primarily as a support to trigger stronger Esper Cycles.
- Incantation DMG is the main choice if building her to actively contribute damage.
Module Layout
Required Modules
Bonus: Type III (+9% Incantation DMG)
Total Bonus: +54% Incantation DMG
Substat Priority
- Layout shown maximizes Speedy Hedgehog's 4-piece set while leveraging the bonus module.
- Aim for modules with the listed substats to boost Sakiri's Incantation DMG or Cycle performance.
Best Teams
Sakiri acts as the buffer and crowd-control (hold Skill → Ultimate) to set up big rotations for a high-power main DPS and a burst sub-DPS.
Nanally
Main DPS
Primary damage dealer who benefits from Sakiri's ATK buff and grouped targets.
Zero
Sub-DPS
Burst sub-DPS — goes on-field after Sakiri's buff to capitalize on airborne/grouped enemies.
Sakiri
Buffer
Provides crowd-control and the team ATK buff; held Skill groups enemies, Ultimate buffs team.
Adler
Support
Shielder that provides mitigation and small Incantation DoT traces to help trigger Hexed.
Start with shielder/mitigation Skill to protect Sakiri.
Use Sakiri hold Skill to pull and airborne enemies, then cast Ultimate to suppress and apply the ATK buff.
Swap to Main/Sub DPS and execute high-damage rotations while the ATK buff and enemy control are active.
- Hexed teams (Anima allies) are easier to play and synergize well with Sakiri's grouping.
- Sakiri is broadly compatible and can fit on most comps that rely on a single strong rotation.
Skill Priority
Kiroumaru Headbutt (Basic Attack)
Low priority — seldom used and can be ignored if resources are limited.
Squash! (Support Skill)
Useful extra AoE Incantation DMG; level third.
Feast of Gluttony (Ultimate)
Level second — provides the team ATK buff and Suppress; damage scales with Ultimate level but it's primarily a support tool.
Devour Whole (Skill)
Max first — main damage tool and the hold form is essential for grouping and knocking enemies airborne.
Awakening Priority
Wishful Reliance
Greatly boosts Sakiri's ATK buffs after casting her Ultimate — top priority for stronger team support.
Sensory Collapse
Removes much of the need for energy regen for the Ultimate if you can make enemies airborne with the hold Skill — get second.
Diffusive Haze
Extends Suppressed duration on enemies (3s → 6s), improving crowd-control uptime.
Dextrous Separation
Synergizes with the hold Skill → Ultimate rotation to give Sakiri bonus damage.
Adhesive Grip
Gives extra damage for defeated enemies within 15s — situational and less impactful in tightly-built teams.
Gluttonous Dissolution
Quality-of-life: lets Sakiri remove up to 3 weak enemies instantly; lowest priority.
How to Play
Use Sakiri's hold Skill to pull and airborne enemies, cast Ultimate to Suppress and raise team ATK, then swap to your DPS to execute a single, high-damage rotation.
Rotations
- 1 Shielder/Mitigation Skill → Sakiri Hold Skill (hold) → Sakiri Ultimate → Swap to Main DPS
- 2 If playing Sakiri as a pseudo DPS: apply hold Skill, use Ultimate, then use Sakiri's Skill burst before swapping (if safe).
Tips
- Always have a mitigation/shielder Skill active before Sakiri goes on-field so she can safely execute hold Skill + Ultimate.
- Aim to land the hold Skill on as many enemies as possible to maximize the value of her Ultimate and make Esper Cycles easier to trigger.
- Pair Sakiri with Anima or Chaos allies for Hexed or DoT comps; Hexed is easier to play.
- If running support-only Sakiri, focus on Cycle Intensity; if you want her to deal damage, pick Incantation DMG and selfish cartridges.
