Baicang
Baicang is an Incantation DPS who deals damage from multiple sources and has versatile combos. He serves as the main DPS of your team, but his combos can be difficult to execute and his moveset can be clunky, leaving him at A-tier compared to more convenient S-rank characters.

Increases CRIT DMG by 12% for 5s when the wearer's HP is reduced without taking damage, up to 4 stacks. Unlocks Arc: Silent Garden. Consumes 5% of current HP and randomly performs one of the following attacks (CD 25s) in Arc: Silent Garden: Harsh Rebuke: Rains merciless rebukes like leaves in a storm, dealing 5 instances of Incantation DMG of 24% ATK. Incessant Nagging: Pierces targets with sharp, cutting words like thorns, dealing 6 instances of Incantation DMG of 18% ATK; the final instance deals double damage.
Grants the wearer 10% ATK, 10% DEF, and 10% HP when the team has at least 3 different Esper Types.

Best Teams
Baicang serves as the team's main Incantation DPS, dealing both burst and sustained damage with his plethora of skills and his Ultimate. Daffodill rotates to help break enemy weaknesses and trigger Scorch. Sakiri provides generalist buffs, while Haniel opens up the Discord Esper Cycle. Adler is a general-purpose shielder, Jiuyuan functions as another Sub-DPS and crowd controller, and Fadia triggers Discord and acts as a damage sponge.
Start with supports: use shielder/mitigation skill, buffer skill, buffer ultimate, then sub-DPS skill and ultimate before swapping to Baicang.
Baicang should go last in the rotation due to his long DPS time.
Use Baicang's combos to deal damage and trigger Scorch/Discord as needed.
Daffodill helps break enemy weaknesses and triggers Scorch.
Sakiri provides generalist buffs; Haniel opens up Discord.
Adler shields, Jiuyuan crowd controls, Fadia triggers Discord and tanks.

Walk the Talk
Baicang's Basic Attack should also be leveled, but in a secondary priority since he uses it a lot during his combos, but is more of an addon to his innately pseudo-burst damage rotations.
Break Time Over
Deals one additional instance of Incantation DMG over time. Level this as your last priority since Baicang is a more proactive DPS rather than passive.
Judgment of Autumn
Baicang's Ultimate provides considerable burst DMG, passive DoT damage, and improves all of Baicang's existing damage. This should be taken first to improve his overall damage.
Generous Guidance
This is Baicang's main source of damage, and should be maxed second alongside his Ultimate due to how versatile its use cases are.
How to Play
Baicang is a proactive Incantation DPS with a long field time and complex combos. He should be played last in rotations, with supports setting up before he takes the field. His kit revolves around using Formless and Unrestrained Words, applying Silence or Objurgate, and then using his Ultimate to deal massive damage and instakill low-HP enemies. He has decent solo potential and self-sustain via Bless.

Tips
- Dodge Gives Access to Special Attacks: Holding dodge while moving performs Formless Words, firing three projectiles in a cone. Holding dodge without moving performs Unrestrained Words, firing three projectiles that reach further. Both open up his Special Skill.
- Skill Has Three Forms: Heart of Heaven and Earth (base), Silenced Thought (single-target, applies Silence), and Such Crime (AoE, applies Objurgate). Use Silenced Thought against bosses and Such Crime against groups.
- Ultimate Activates Instakill: During his Ultimate, Baicang can instantly kill enemies below 10% HP (5% for bosses), indicated by a black-and-white impact frame.
- Team Up With Anima or Chaos Characters: Anima teammates trigger Hexed, Chaos teammates trigger Scorch. Scorch is better due to Baicang's long field time and DoT contribution.
- HP Costs and Healing: Basic Attacks apply Bless, which heals Baicang for 5% HP when triggered during his Ultimate. Land as many attacks as possible to heal.
- Good Solo Potential: Baicang is self-sufficient and can solo most content due to his complex combos, HP drain-and-return, dodge-based kit, and instakill potential.

Witness the power that words bestow. Charges briefly and writes incantation commands, targeting enemies and dealing 1 instance of Incantation DMG to an area. Generates 1 Power Word Silence on target when attacks hit.
Passives
Scorch Enhancement: Inflicts another instance of Scorch with the same effect as the existing one when a Power Word is generated on a target affected by Scorch.
Increases Baicang's ATK by 20%.
Launches coordinate attacks with the allies when there are ETD-4 members in the Team.
In combat, switching to Baicang while Skia is in stealth to immediately attack with Baicang and generate 1 Power Word Silence on target. Cooldown: 30s.
In combat, when Fadia's HP drops below 20%, Baicang attacks the enemy 1 time, heals Fadia 1 time, and generates 1 Power Word Silence on target. Cooldown: 30s.
Switching to Baicang while Lacrimosa is in bat form can trigger 1 super jump for Baicang.
Awakening
Increases Baicang's next Skill's damage by 30% when Silence triggers during Judgment of Autumn. Effect stacks. Reduces Baicang's Skill cooldown by 4s when Objurgate triggers. Effect stacks (applies to the next use if no Skill is on cooldown).
Like those mountain ranges, layer upon layer. Every 1 Power Word generated increases Baicang's ATK by 6%, up to 4 stacks. Each stack lasts 10s.
Increases Power Word generation limit to 4.
Restores an additional 5% of Max HP when any 1 Power Word triggers during Judgment of Autumn.
It's not over yet. Increases the duration of Judgment of Autumn to 16s.
Increases Baicang's CRIT Rate by 30% during Judgment of Autumn.
