Clorinde is an Electro DPS who primarily deals damage with her Elemental Skill, which puts her into the Night Vigil state. Attacks during this state grant her a Bond of Life, and she can clear her Bond of Life by using her Elemental Skill again while in the Night Vigil state. It should be noted that while in the Night Vigil state, outside healing sources give Clorinde a Bond of Life instead of healing her. Clorinde's Elemental Burst also grants her a Bond of Life that increases based on her talent level.
Regarding Weapon Choices: - Haran Geppaku Futsu, Primordial Jade Cutter: Be careful when using these weapons as it is easy to overcap on Crit Rate due to Clorinde's A4 talent giving her a free 20% Crit Rate. - Mistsplitter Reforged: Maximizing Stacks requires Clorinde to use her Elemental Burst before her Elemental Skill. - Freedom-Sworn: This weapon loses significant value outside of Dendro-based teams. - Calamity of Eshu: Ranking assumes Clorinde is being shielded by someone, most notably being Kirara. - The Black Sword (R5): This weapon will perform better than Finale of the Deep (R5).
Regarding Artifact Sets: - Thundering Fury (4): This set pulls ahead of Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy if Clorinde is played in Quickbloom with Furina, and is competitive with Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy in Aggravate.
Regarding Main Stat Choices: - Sands: In Quickbloom, EM sands performs similarly to ATK% sands, and has a lower priority in Aggravate.
Regarding Substats: - Elemental Mastery (EM): In Quickbloom scenarios, EM has a similar priority to ATK%, and has a lower priority in Aggravate. It should not be built outside of Dendro-based teams. - Energy Recharge (ER): Having ER rolls can allow Clorinde to be able to Burst every rotation, which is useful, however, ER should not be prioritized.
Regarding Talent Priority: It is recommended to bring Clorinde's Elemental Burst talent to at least Level 7 to take full advantage of her A4 talent. This also allows for the Burst rotations as seen in the Ability Tips section.

The Maximum DMG increase achievable this way for the above attacks is 2,700.

Additionally, while Night Vigil is active, a Glimbright Shade will appear under specific circumstances, executing an attack that deals 200% of Clorinde's ATK as Electro DMG. DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG.
The Glimbright Shade will appear under the following circumstances:
· When Clorinde is about to be hit by an attack.
· When Clorinde uses Impale the Night: Pact.
1 Glimbright Shade can be summoned in the aforementioned ways every 1s. 6 Shades can be summoned per single Night Vigil duration.
In addition, while Night Vigil is active, the DMG Clorinde receives is decreased by 80% and her interruption resistance is increased. This effect will disappear after the Night Vigil state ends or 1s after she summons 6 Glimbright Shades.
