Gilgamesh mostly wants Saber in his team due to their synergy. Trailblazer (Ice) can advance Saber forward and allow her to deal True DMG. Huohuo buffs the team's ATK and restores their Energy.

Gilgamesh is mostly used in a team with Saber, allowing him to do his Joint ATK and boost Saber's Ultimate DMG thanks to his offensive buffs. Robin - Summeretto gives Saber Energy and boosts her ATK, while also giving the team DEF ignore. Huohuo buffs the team's ATK and restores their Energy.
