A-Tier TierDaffodill Build Guide
Daffodill's status as a Break-Burst DPS puts her in a special place since she's the only one that can currently function this way as of right now, as her kit is specially designed to deal Break Intensity damage. She is placed in A-tier since she brings respectable damage that shines most when the enemy's weakness is about to break, but that also serves as a downside since her timings and damage windows are strict.

Best Arcs
Increases Break Intensity by 60. Seals Arc: Black Tome with two chains by default. Unleashes 1 chain each time any character on the team casts a Support Skill. Makes Arc: Black Tome available when all two chains are unleashed. Arc: Black Tome — Summons the Black Tome for 20s. Designates an enemy every 5s. Increases the wearer's Chaos DMG dealt to designated enemies by 20%. Deals Chaos DMG equal to 2% of the wearer's ATK to designated enemies when they take Break Damage.
Increases Break Intensity by 48. Increases DMG by 10% against Broken units.
Grants the wearer 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Chaos DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Ignores 12% of enemies' Chaos RES. Ignores 24% of enemies' Chaos RES for 20s after the wearer participates in Nova or Scorch reactions.
Best Main Stat: CRIT Rate
- CRIT Rate generally useful for overall damage; Break Intensity can be used for Break-Focused sub-DPS build.

Use Support Skills to empower Daffodill's Skill.
Then use Baicang to trigger Scorch and Haniel for Nova to trigger Discord.
Daffodill's passive reduces Break cap when Discord triggers.
- The last member can be Adler or Jiuyuan depending on need for survivability or more DOT.
This team prioritizes Scorch instead of Discord, continuously reapplying DOT on enemies.

Baicang, Sakiri, and Adler all have passives that improve Scorch effects.
Skill Priority
Crossed Blades (Support Skill)
Crossed Blades is a convenient way to add more damage to an already Break-intensive kit, but is not a priority until all other abilities are leveled.
Finale (Ultimate)
Finale is responsible for Daffodill's Phantom Step counters and Insight application, making it the 2nd priority to be leveled.
Still Waters (Basic Attack)
Daffodill's Basic Attacks make up a good bulk of damage since she deals additional Break Damage, making this a skill to be used often.
Resonance (Skill)
Daffodill's Skill is her main bread and butter, since it can be powered up by her teammates before casting, making it one of her highest-priority skills.
Awakening Priority
Assembly of Creations
Insight is an extremely powerful status effect, which means keeping its uptime is extremely important and thus makes this Awakening Effect a priority for Daffodill.
Eye
Eye increases Daffodill's Skill DMG by a significant amount per support skill cast. Get this second as her Skill makes up a good bulk of her damage, and is usually only cast when Support Skills are applied anyway.
Mechanical March
Allows Daffodill to utilize Phantom Step in more cases, giving her the option to use Finale again if a Parry is not performed. Get this third.
Perfect Truth
Applies another instance of Insight to enemies when they are Broken under Insight's effects. Not a hard requirement, but it is a powerful prerequisite for Daffodill's A4.
In Concealment
Since Insight now has a longer duration, and you will generate another Insight stack with her A5 effect, In Concealment provides more Break DMG bonus due to the multiple stacks of Insight.
Bloom in the Lake
Straightforward upgrade that allows Daffodill to ignore 15% of enemy DEF. Very good to have, but it is lackluster in synergy compared to other Awakening Effects.
How to Play
1. Start combat with a Psyche or Incantation character with full Cycle Energy to trigger Nova or Scorch when swapping to Daffodill. 2. Use Support Skills to empower Daffodill's Skill (at least two). 3. Cast her empowered Skill for high damage and Break bar reduction. 4. Activate her Ultimate to apply Insight and gain Phantom Step charges. 5. Use Phantom Step to parry attacks and recharge Ultimate Energy. 6. Run Daffodill in Discord teams to take advantage of her Breaking capabilities and passive Break cap reduction.
Rotations
- 1 Sample Discord Team Rotation: Fadia Skill → Sakiri Hold Skill → Sakiri Ultimate → Daffodill Skill → Daffodill Ultimate → Baicang Skill and Ultimate → Daffodill Switch (Phantom Step) → Baicang Damage Rotation (Possible Scorch Trigger).
