Beidou is a versatile Electro character with a unique playstyle. Her skill, Wavebreaker's Hymn, grants her an Electro status for a brief moment upon holding it, allowing for status-cleansing (no particular effective element). This ability can only be used on herself. Electro Traveler is a recommended team composition for Beidou, as it allows for easy Electro application and reaction chaining. However, other team compositions can also be effective. Build Recommendations:

Artifact set: Gladiator or Emblem of Severed Fate for increased damage output.
Weapon: Thundering Fury or Memory of Dust for increased Electro damage.
Stats: Prioritize ATK and CRIT Rate for increased damage output.

Farming Locations:

Winds of the Dawn (Liye Shore) for Thundering Fury and other Electro-related items.
Wanderer's Troupe (Mingyun Village) for Memory of Dust and other Electro-related items.

EM/ER/ER/ER is a recommended Elemental Mastery (EM) build for Beidou, as it allows for increased Electro damage and reaction chaining. However, other EM builds can also be effective. EM Build:

Hold
Lifts her weapon up as a shield. Max DMG absorbed scales off Beidou's Max HP.
Attacks using the energy stored within the greatsword upon release or once this ability's duration expires, dealing Electro DMG. DMG dealt scales with the number of times Beidou is attacked in the skill's duration. The greatest DMG Bonus will be attained once this effect is triggered twice.
The shield possesses the following properties:

Stormbreaker

With a peal of thunder, Haishan is slain.

Recalling her slaying of the great beast Haishan, Beidou calls upon that monstrous strength and the lightning to create a Thunderbeast's Targe around herself, dealing Electro DMG to nearby opponents.

Thunderbeast's Targe
·When Normal and Charged Attacks hit, they create a lightning discharge that can jump between opponents, dealing Electro DMG.
·Increases the character's resistance to interruption, and decreases DMG taken.

A maximum of 1 lightning discharge can be triggered per second.
