Spiegazione

jiyan jiyan
Jiyan stands out as a top-tier DPS unit, capable of unleashing devastating single-target and AoE damage that can take down even the toughest enemies. One of Jiyan's most notable abilities is his Ultimate, which can group smaller enemies, providing a valuable means of crowd control. With the introduction of Whimpering Wastes, Jiyan has found a new niche, making him an incredibly versatile unit to have in your arsenal.
jinhsi jinhsi
As a premier Spectro Main-DPS character, Jinhsi is renowned for her extraordinary burst damage capabilities, courtesy of her Skill and Resonance Liberation. Her multipliers are remarkably high, allowing her to annihilate any enemy that dares to stand in her way. Although she remains a fantastic choice, her age is beginning to show, particularly when compared to newer units.
changli changli
Changli is an exceptional main-DPS unit, capable of dealing massive amounts of Fusion damage when her Forte Circuit is fully stacked. She can even further enhance her ATK after using her Ultimate, allowing her to deal even more damage. While Changli can also assume a Sub-DPS role thanks to her Outro Skill, it's generally not recommended, as she excels as a Main DPS and requires a significant amount of on-field time to reach her full potential.
zhezhi zhezhi
Zhezhi is an outstanding Sub-DPS unit, providing valuable buffs to characters that scale with Resonance Skill, along with bonus Glacio DMG amplification. She is currently the top choice for Sub-DPS for two of the game's best DPS units, Jinhsi and Carlotta, making her an extremely versatile unit. Her ability to provide buffs that enhance the performance of other units makes her a highly sought-after addition to any team.
camellya camellya
Camellya is a formidable Havoc DPS unit, capable of dishing out far-reaching combos that are primarily AoE-based. She also has access to a free Sub-DPS, making it extremely easy to build a team around her. Although she remains a great unit to build, her age is starting to show, particularly when compared to more modern Havoc units like Phrolova.
roccia roccia
Roccia is an exceptional Havoc Sub-DPS unit, capable of providing significant increases to both Basic Attack and Havoc DMG. She also possesses a valuable grouping utility that enables your DPS to decimate hordes of enemies with ease. While Roccia's personal damage output is not negligible, her overall performance is somewhat limited, as she can only truly thrive in a Havoc team.
cantarella cantarella
Cantarella is a highly versatile Havoc character who brings a multitude of benefits to various teams. As a premium character for Mono Havoc Teams, she enables the option to run a second Sub-DPS instead of a support character, thanks to her kit providing some healing and sustain. Cantarella offers Resonance and Havoc DMG amplification, making her an excellent choice for buffing different DPS units, and her off-field Coordinated attacks further boost overall team damage potential.
lupa lupa
Lupa is the premier Fusion DMG enabler, elevating Fusion teams to new heights. When used in mono-Fusion teams, her value is immense, making her the final piece of the puzzle for Fusion teams. However, this also means she is extremely limited in terms of team building, as she requires all three Resonators to be Fusion.
chisa chisa
Chisa is a unique Negative Status Support unit, capable of increasing the max stack count for all status effects while providing multiple DEF reductions against enemies. Her value lies in her flexibility to maximize any Negative Status effect, but she is hindered by the lack of implementation of comps that utilize these mechanics in the game. As a result, Chisa is currently a luxury unit for Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle support units, but her value may increase if more Negative Status Effects teams are introduced.
sanhua sanhua
Sanhua is one of the best Sub-DPS units in the game, providing Basic Attack DMG Deepen for 14 seconds to the next character who takes the field. She deals decent damage but relies heavily on detonating ice structures using her Heavy Attacks. Sanhua's ability to provide a significant damage boost to the next character makes her a valuable addition to any team.
calcharo calcharo
Calcharo is an Electro Main-DPS unit, capable of dealing a substantial amount of Electro damage with both his Skill and Liberation. With the introduction of Yinlin, Calcharo now has an excellent Sub-DPS that pushes him to greater heights, making him an even more formidable unit.
encore encore
Encore is a fantastic choice for a Fusion DPS, focusing solely on dealing pure damage. When she enters Cosmos Rave, Encore unleashes an insane amount of Fusion DMG. However, she can be quite squishy, and her Cosmos Rave state does not provide any crowd control, which can be a problem if she's getting hit frequently.
rover_spectro rover_spectro
Rover (Spectro) is a jack-of-all-trades, providing great Sub-DPS capabilities with her time stop Outro Skill and showing glimpses of Main-DPS potential with her high-damage Resonance Liberation. Unfortunately, this versatility has resulted in the Spectro Rover falling off compared to other characters with more defined roles.
yinlin yinlin
Yinlin is a great Sub-DPS unit, providing bonuses for Liberation DMG and Electro DMG, as well as sending out Electro coordinated attacks for extra damage. This enables Yinlin to deal damage even when off-field, increasing her value. However, her value has decreased due to the advent of more multi-wave content in the game, which has highlighted inconsistencies in her marks application.
rover_havoc rover_havoc
Rover (Havoc) is a great damage dealer, allowing for easy activation of her Dark Surge state. She has high burst damage capability thanks to her Resonance Liberation, but her Basic Attack is where she truly shines. To maximize her damage output, it's essential to hone your dodging skills and make the most of her Basic Attack damage during Dark Surge.
xiangli_yao xiangli_yao
Xiangli Yao is a great Main DPS unit, capable of slowing down enemy movement and dealing significant damage as long as you know how to use him effectively. He relies heavily on Resonance Liberation DMG, making any character, weapon, or Echo that buffs it a great match for Xiangli Yao. Unfortunately, he is completely overshadowed by the newer Electro character Augusta.
rover_aero rover_aero
Rover (Aero) currently suffers from having no other available characters that fully utilize her kit. While she is a great applicator of negative effects on enemies, there is a limited character pool with negative effects built into their kit. However, she is the best-in-slot Support for one of the best teams in the game, making a strong case for improvements in performance.
mortefi mortefi
Mortefi has a unique mechanic that allows coordinated Fusion attacks to follow whenever you attack enemies, ensuring he deals damage even when off-field. This exponentially increases Mortefi's value in fights, and as a 4-star unit, he is easily accessible. His value increases further when the on-field DPS uses Heavy Attacks, which is a common tactic for most DPS units in the game.
danjin danjin
Danjin is a great DPS unit for free-to-play players, capable of dishing out huge amounts of damage as long as you can properly manage her HP-drain mechanic. This may be challenging when facing tougher enemies, so player skill plays a significant role in ensuring Danjin survives fights.
jianxin jianxin
Jianxin is a solid middle ground between being a Main and Sub-DPS in Wuthering Waves. She can hold her own as a Main-DPS, providing grouping and AoE damage against multiple enemies, and her Outro Skill buffs Resonance Liberation DMG, making her a great Sub-DPS as well. However, her jack-of-all-trades nature has caused Jianxin to fall off compared to other characters with more defined roles.
lingyang lingyang
Lingyang is being outclassed by his standard 5-star peers in the current state of the game, particularly those with excellent AoE damage capabilities. He also lacks a dedicated Glacio support, and his damage output has been subpar compared to other Main-DPS units in the game.
aalto aalto
Aalto can be seen as a good Sub-DPS unit, capable of buffing Aero DMG while dealing decent damage. However, he is being outclassed by other Sub-DPS units like Mortefi, who can deal damage even when off-field.
yuanwu yuanwu
Yuanwu is a Sub-DPS unit that follows up with coordinated Electro DMG even when he's off-field. He can also reduce the enemy's Vibration Strength, but this only applies if the enemy is within the circle of effect, which can be easily avoided by mobile enemies.
chixia chixia
Chixia is a DPS unit that excels against hordes of enemies due to her mobility and ease of use. She can take on single-target bosses with ease as long as you can reposition and evade properly. However, when dealing with mobs of enemies, her benefits may decrease if you're not careful, as she can be easily mobbed by multiple enemies.
baizhi baizhi
Baizhi is a pure healer who can be used when you don't have access to Shorekeeper and Verina. She can burst-heal using her Resonance Skill and Liberation, as well as continuously heal and buff the next character that takes the field for 36 seconds. Unlocking her Inherent Skill 1 also provides ATK boosts to the next on-field DPS. However, her buffs only apply to the next character, limiting the flow of switching when using Baizhi.
yangyang yangyang
Yangyang is the first free 4-star character that all players will get, providing decent damage and utility with her Aero grouping. However, she falls off immediately once the player unlocks better Sub-DPS units that provide DMG buffs.
taoqi taoqi
Taoqi has found a new Sub-DPS role in Jinhsi's team, providing Resonance Skill amplification and dishing out quick-switch damage with her Resonance Liberation. Unfortunately, her problems with split scaling on her Forte and Shields still exist, and she could have been a great Sub-DPS-Support hybrid character if her scaling was consistent across her kit.
youhu youhu
Youhu is a healer-support hybrid who can provide multiple buffs and effects in battle, from healing to vibration strength depletion efficiency. However, her buffs are obtained through a kit-based RNG system, which can be extremely inconsistent when used in teams. Her Outro Skill only buffs the incoming resonator's Coordinated Attack, which is a niche effect, and her value decreases due to the limited number of Resonators that can use coordinated attacks.
lumi lumi
Lumi is a Sub-DPS unit who can provide Resonance Skill DMG Amplification via her Outro Skill. Her kit is straightforward, with good multipliers for her Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation. However, her damage tends to fall off when doing Basic Attacks with her two Light Modes, but she can deal decent damage when her Forte Circuit is full.
