A TierJiuyuan Build Guide
Jiuyuan is an Anima-based burst DPS who excels at quickswap playstyles. She deals massive damage with her frontloaded Ultimate and Blossom enhancements. Her versatility allows her to function both as a primary DPS and as a support, securing her an A-tier spot.
Strengths

Increases Anima DMG by 15%. Increases Attachment DMG by 10%, and by 20% for 6s after using Ultimate.
Increases ATK by 20% when HP is above 50%, and DEF by 20% when below 50%.
Increases ATK by 12% for 10s after using a Redirect Skill, triggering once per 20s.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Anima DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Increases CRIT DMG by 8% per stack when an enemy takes Anima DMG, up to 7 stacks. Stacks last 10s, works off-field.
Best Main Stat: CRIT DMG or Cycle Intensity
- CRIT DMG is universal for Jiuyuan as a sub-DPS. Cycle Intensity is better in Blossom teams, especially with Nanally.

Intel Hunter (Skill)
Primarily used to apply Lethal Rose Pact. Level later as it's not a primary damage source.
Intel Lock-On (Support Skill)
Provides a secondary source of Rose Pact Bullets. Level last.
When Secrets Take Shape (Basic Attack)
Used to unload Rose Pact Bullets. Max second to improve its damage output.
Final Reckoning (Ultimate)
Deals the majority of Jiuyuan's damage. Max first as it accounts for 80% of her burst damage.
Awakening Priority
Intel Superiority
Increases DMG by 8% for each instance of damage to enemies afflicted by Lethal Rose Pact. Excellent damage boost.
Intel Turns Into Blades
Increases Lethal Rose Pact DMG ratio and provides healing when Pact Settlement triggers. DPS increase and QoL upgrade.
Strike to Kill
Increases DMG when Pact Settlement triggers. Good for second rotation onwards or with Anima teammates.
Know Every Secret
Deals DMG to enemies afflicted by Lethal Rose Pact when they attack. Inconsistent due to reliance on enemy actions.
To Know, To Balance
Provides 5-15% ATK bonus for inflicting Lethal Rose Pact on up to 3 enemies. Minor upgrade.
Advantage Established
Deals bonus break damage to the Pact Settlement target when using Ultimate. Does not contribute much to overall damage.
How to Play
Jiuyuan is a quickswap burst DPS. Start fights with her Skill to apply Lethal Rose Pact and group enemies. While the pact ticks, cycle through supports and other DPS. Return to Jiuyuan to expend Rose Pact Bullets and end with her Ultimate to trigger Pact Settlement.
Rotations
- 1 Jiuyuan Skill → Shield/Mitigation Skill → Buffer Skill → Buffer Ultimate → Esper Zero Skill → Switch to DPS and perform rotation → Jiuyuan Ultimate
Tips
- Use Skill at the beginning to maximize Lethal Rose Pact uptime.
- Pair with Cosmos characters for Blossom or Incantation characters for Hexed teams.
- Lethal Rose Pact continuously damages enemies over time.
