A TierJiuyuan Build Guide
An Anima-based burst DPS with a quickswap playstyle. She excels at dealing frontloaded damage via her Ultimate and Lethal Rose Pact, and can flex into a support role thanks to her Blossom enhancement utility. Her versatility earns her an A-tier ranking.

Swallowtail: Increases Anima DMG by 15%. Increases the wearer's Attachment DMG by 10%. Increases the Attachment DMG bonus to 20% for 6s when the wearer casts an Ultimate. Effect does not stack.
Picture Frame: Increases ATK by 20% when the wearer's HP is above 50%; increases DEF by 20% when HP is below 50%.
Noros: Increases wearer's ATK by 12% for 10s when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Anima DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Increases wearer's CRIT DMG by 8% when a nearby enemy takes Anima DMG from the Team, up to 7 stacks. Each stack lasts 10s. Effect remains active when the character is off-field.
Best Main Stat: CRIT DMG
- CRIT DMG is universal for a sub-DPS. Use Cycle Intensity if running her in a Blossom team to amplify Blossom damage.

Skill Priority
Intel Hunter (Skill)
Mainly used to apply Lethal Rose Pact. Can be leveled later.
Intel Lock-On (Support Skill)
Provides a secondary source of Rose Pact Bullets. Level last.
When Secrets Take Shape (Basic Attack)
Used every other rotation to unload Rose Pact Bullets. Max second to improve its damage.
Final Reckoning (Ultimate)
The bulk of Jiuyuan's damage, responsible for about 80% of her burst window. Max this first.
Awakening Priority
Intel Superiority
Increases DMG by 8% for each instance of damage to enemies with Lethal Rose Pact. Excellent boost to all ticks of her Ultimate.
Intel Turns Into Blades
Increases Lethal Rose Pact DMG ratio and provides healing on Pact Settlement. Good DPS and QoL.
Strike to Kill
Increases DMG when Pact Settlement is triggered. Effective from the second rotation onward or with Anima teammates.
Know Every Secret
Deals DMG to enemies with Lethal Rose Pact when they attack. Inconsistent because enemies should be weakness broken.
To Know, To Balance
Provides 5-15% ATK based on number of enemies with Lethal Rose Pact (max 3). A minor boost.
Advantage Established
Deals bonus break damage on Pact Settlement when casting Ultimate. Does not contribute significantly to overall damage.
How to Play
Jiuyuan is a quickswap burst DPS who applies Lethal Rose Pact with her Skill, then uses her Ultimate to detonate it for massive damage. She works best as a start and end point for team rotations.
Rotations
- 1Jiuyuan Skill → Shield/Mitigation Skill → Buffer Skill → Buffer Ultimate → Esper Zero Skill → Switch to DPS and perform rotation → Jiuyuan Ultimate
Tips
- Use Skill to group enemies and apply Lethal Rose Pact at the start of fights.
- Rotate through supports and other DPS while Lethal Rose Pact ticks down.
- Return to Jiuyuan to fire Rose Pact Bullets before casting Ultimate to trigger Pact Settlement.
- Pair with Cosmos characters for more Blossom triggers, or with Incantation characters for Hexed synergy.
