Quickbloom/Hyperbloom DPS
For Quickbloom or Hyperbloom, Cyno mixes talent, Aggravate, and Hyperbloom damage with a Hydro teammate. This is his strongest loadout at C0. Above C2, Aggravate teams become more competitive.
Weapon Rankings Assuming Significant Hydro Application from an Off‑Field Unit
Energy Recharge weapons are useful when energy is tight—e.g., without another Favonius weapon or an Electro battery. Skyward Spine can match or beat White Tassel R5 if its ATK Speed allows more Normal Attacks.
Artifact Sets
Marechaussee Hunter (4) works only with Furina in a Quickbloom variant needing reliable teamwide healing (ideally Baizhu). It performs similarly to Gilded Dreams (4).
Main Stat Choices
Any combination of Elemental Mastery, Electro DMG Bonus, and CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG works. With consistent Hydro application, highest damage uses Elemental Mastery Sands, Electro DMG Bonus Goblet, Elemental Mastery Circlet. Main stats are extremely close; substats decide.
Aggravate DPS
As an Aggravate DPS, Cyno uses his Burst to enter a stance dealing Electro damage. This counts as Normal Attack damage, so Burst damage buffs do not apply. He focuses on high personal damage with other Dendro and Electro characters.
Weapon Choices
Use Skyward Spine only if Energy Recharge is needed; otherwise avoid. Its ATK Speed can help land more Normal Attacks, matching White Tassel R5. Kitain Cross Spear is very competitive without an Electro battery. Deathmatch at R5 performs like Primordial Jade Winged-Spear.
Artifact Sets
Thundering Fury (4) is best in optimal conditions, especially as the sole Electro character—extra Skill casts help energy. Using Skill off cooldown may miss Endseer windows; a shielder is recommended. Gilded Dreams (4) beats Gladiator's Finale (4) on Staff of the Scarlet Sands and White Tassel. Thundersoother (4) outperforms Gladiator if 100% uptime is possible, but rarely feasible.
Main Stat Choices
Sands Elemental Mastery vs ATK% depends on weapon and team; test or use an optimizer. With Staff of the Scarlet Sands, an Elemental Mastery circlet can be used.
