Astra Yao and Ellen Are Coming to Honkai: Star Rail

Version 4.8 of Honkai: Star Rail is set to host the long-awaited crossover with Zenless Zone Zero. HoYoverse confirmed that Astra Yao and Ellen will appear as playable characters in the update. The exact Paths, elements, and banner order have not yet been revealed, leaving the community to speculate on how these ZZZ icons will adapt to the turn-based combat system.

Early hints suggest Astra Yao will be a support unit while Ellen could retain her Ice damage-dealing identity, but nothing is official. Players who want to guarantee both characters should start saving Stellar Jade now, especially since the patch is projected for Winter 2026. Waiting for the official kit reveals remains the safest approach before deciding which banners to pull on.
