Lacrimosa is a strong Main DPS who applies a stacking DoT effect called Nightmare on enemies she hits. She can also copy an enemy's combat technique and use it in battle, making her very flexible and able to fit into various team compositions.
Strengths
- Strong Main DPS with stacking DoT (Nightmare) that scales off ATK.
- Can copy enemy combat techniques and use them, adding flexibility.
- Works well in DoT-focused and Discord teams, triggering additional burst damage.
- Can switch between Melee and Ranged modes to adapt to different enemies.
- Has self-sustain through Awakening (Tempered Glass Judgement restores HP based on DoT damage).
- Signature Arc The Last Rose greatly boosts CRIT DMG and extends Broken state.
Weaknesses
- Nightmare DoT has a short base duration (3s without Awakening), requiring frequent reapplication.
- Relies on team support (Incantation/Psyche) to maximize damage through reactions like Scorch, Nova, and Discord.
- Skill copying requires learning enemy skills and swapping, adding complexity.
- Ultimate's total damage is similar in Melee and Ranged, but Melee has more hits for Crit Attacks, so mode choice matters.
Best Arcs
Increases ATK by 14%. Grants 1 stack of Chaos Thorn each time the wearer deals DOT. Increases CRIT DMG by 6% per stack for 3s. Triggers at most once every 0.3s, up to 10 stacks and refreshes the duration when retriggered. Grants 10 stacks of Chaos Thorn immediately when the wearer casts a Redirect Skill. Extends the Broken state of a Broken enemy by 3s when the wearer deals damage to them (triggers at most once per Break Effect).
Increases 5% ATK every 1s while the wearer is the active character, up to 5 stacks. Resets when the wearer leaves the field.
Grants the wearer 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Chaos DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Ignores 12% of enemies' Chaos RES. Ignores 24% of enemies' Chaos RES for 20s after the wearer participates in Nova or Scorch reactions.
Best Main Stat: CRIT Rate or Chaos DMG Boost
- If using The Last Rose, get Chaos DMG Boost as main stat since it provides CRIT Rate.
- Otherwise, get CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG based on your Modules' substats.

Best Teams
Lacrimosa shines in a DoT-focused team with Incantation characters. Sakiri is a higher priority as she increases DoT damage. Haniel provides buffs and applies Nova. The last slot can be Daffodill for Breaking or Fadia for survivability. This team also functions as a Discord team, triggering additional damage.

Haniel Skill → Sakiri or Adler Skill → Fill up Cycle Energy → Swap to Lacrimosa (Scorch Trigger) → Lacrimosa Skill → Lacrimosa Basic Attack Combo (Stack Nightmare) → Lacrimosa Ultimate → Swap to Haniel (Nova and Discord Trigger) → Repeat Rotation.
Start by buffing with Haniel, then swap to an Incantation support (Sakiri or Adler) to apply buffs and build Cycle Energy. Swap to Lacrimosa to trigger Scorch and stack Nightmare with her attacks. Use her Skill and follow up with Basic Attacks. When Ultimate is ready, use it for burst damage. Swap to Haniel to trigger Nova and Discord, then repeat.
- This team doubles as a Discord team, which Lacrimosa thrives in due to her Discord Enhancement, dealing additional burst damage when Discord is triggered.
Skill Priority
Sweet and Sour (Basic Attack)
Improve Lacrimosa's Basic Attack damage.
Microwake (Support Skill)
Level her Support Skill last to increase her damage whenever she enters the stage and uses it.
Working Day Judgement (Ultimate)
Prioritize improving Lacrimosa's Ultimate to improve her damage output.
Morning Tomato (Skill)
Improving Present Replay increases its damage output, so prioritize leveling this up second.
Awakening Priority
Tempered Glass Judgement
This is the highest priority awakening to get as it not only reduces the target's Max HP whenever her DoT DMG is dealt, but also restores her HP based on the amount of damage her DoT deals. Additionally, it prevents Nightmare from being removed whenever the target is healed.
Clout Out Clemency
This Awakening increases the damage that Lacrimosa's Nightmare DoT deals, further strengthening her damage capabilities.
Almighty Lord of Tomatoes
Almighty Lord of Tomatoes increases the duration of Nightmare, making it deal damage for longer.
Molten Ice Cream
This Awakening triggers all accumulated Nightmare stacks whenever Lacrimosa performs a full Basic Attack combo, increasing her overall damage output.
Morning Spell
Morning Spell allows you to automatically cast her Support Skill and trigger the corresponding cycle even if there is not enough Cycle Energy. You do, however, need to cast her Redirect Skill before you can take advantage of the free Esper Cycle trigger.
Rise and Shine
This Awakening increases Lacrimosa's damage dealt whenever she switches in using a Support Skill.
How to Play
Lacrimosa is a Main DPS who applies Nightmare DoT stacks via her attacks and can copy enemy skills. She can swap between Melee and Ranged modes. Use her Skill to copy enemy techniques and adapt to fights.

Tips
- Start combat with a Psyche or Incantation character with full Cycle Energy so you can swap to Lacrimosa and immediately trigger Nova or Scorch.
- Before combat, swap Lacrimosa's skill to one of her recorded skills.
- Use Basic Attacks and Skills to apply Nightmare stacks on enemies; the DoT has a short duration, so reapply often.
- After using her Skill, follow up with a Basic Attack to perform the combo's final hit.
- Swap between Melee and Ranged mode based on the enemy; Melee for Crit Ripostes, Ranged for safe distance.
- Use her Ultimate as soon as it's available for large damage and more Nightmare stacks.
- Apply Discord as much as possible to benefit from her Discord Enhancement, dealing additional damage.
- Her Ultimate deals roughly the same total damage in both modes, but Melee has more hits, ideal for Crit Attacks.
- You can freely swap copied skills from the Character menu under Esper Abilities.
