F2P Team
For the F2P team, you can use Ashveil with Mortenax Blade and Robin. Mortenax Blade synergizes well with Ashveil, boosting his damage and giving DEF shred to the enemies. Robin boosts the team's Follow-Up ATK damage and can advance the team forward with her Ultimate. Huohuo boosts Ashveil's ATK and restores Energy for the team.
Beginner Team
For beginners who don't have any limited 4-Star or 5-Star characters yet, you can pair Ashveil up with Herta and March 7th since they both do Follow-Up Attacks, which triggers his Talent. Permansor Terrae will be the team's shielder, and can also increase Ashveil's ATK even further, and give him a summon.
Hypercarry Setup
Ashveil works well in a hypercarry setup, with Mortenax Blade providing him with a great DMG boost and DEF shred for the enemies. Sunday gives him CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, while also advancing him forward. Permansor Terrae gives Ashveil a summon that can also trigger his Talent, along with a boost to ATK, and shields for the party.
Follow-Up ATK Team
Ashveil can also be used in a team with other Follow-Up ATK units since his allies' attacks trigger his Talent, and he also increases the team's Follow-Up ATK CRIT DMG. Feixiao fits as the main DPS and synergizes well with Ashveil, while Mortenax Blade buffs the team's DMG and debuffs the enemies with DEF shred for an even bigger damage increase. Permansor Terrae is the best Sustain unit for his ATK buffs and can give Feixiao an additional summon, which would also trigger Ashveil's Talent.

If the target is already the "Bait," additionally deals it Lightning DMG equal to #3[i]% of Ashveil's ATK, and recovers #5[i] Skill Point(s). When the "Bait" exists on the field, all enemies' DEF gets reduced by #4[i]%. When there is no "Bait" on the field, Ashveil immediately makes the enemy target with the lowest HP on the field become the "Bait." The "Bait" state only takes effect on the most recently applied target.
