Changli and Jinhsi Nendoroids Pass One Big Milestone Before 2026 Release

Two of Wuthering Waves’ most popular characters are now visibly closer to becoming physical collectibles. Good Smile Company has released images of unpainted prototypes for the Changli and Jinhsi Nendoroids, giving fans their first detailed look at what the finished figures may offer.

These are the first Nendoroids for either character. Jinhsi, the 5-Star Resonator, joined the game in version 1.1. Changli followed in version 1.2. Both have maintained enough popularity to earn a spot in Good Smile Company’s premium chibi figure line, which sits between basic prize figures and expensive scale statues in both price and detail.

What the prototypes show

The unpainted images reveal each figure in a single pose. Changli appears in a dynamic stance, but no weapon or effect parts are visible alongside her. Jinhsi’s figure includes her signature sword, Ages of Harvest, mounted on her back. Whether the sword is removable or permanently attached remains unclear.

Both prototypes come with two face plates: a smiling expression and a neutral one. These are standard for Nendoroids. Good Smile Company has not announced any extra accessories such as alternate hands or elemental effect pieces. As with all prototypes, the final paint job and accessory list may change before production starts.

Pricing, pre-orders, and the international problem

Pre-orders for both Nendoroids opened earlier this year and stay open through Good Smile Company’s official online shop. Each figure costs ¥7,900, about $51.50 at current exchange rates. The expected shipping window is September 2026.

There is a catch for buyers outside Japan. Neither figure has appeared on the US Good Smile Company storefront. International collectors who want to lock in a pre-order now will probably need to use a proxy service, which adds fees that can raise the final cost considerably. Another option is to watch the US store for a future listing. Good Smile Company often works with partner retailers for international distribution, but no such deals have been announced for these two figures yet.

What the prototype phase really means

The prototype stage is one milestone, not the last. Paint samples typically follow, then final accessory reveals. With a September 2026 release date, Good Smile Company has room to share more details over the coming months. Collectors should expect regular updates.

For now, the prototypes offer a solid preview. Anyone set on owning these figures should pre-order through the official Japanese shop while keeping proxy and shipping costs in mind. Waiting for a US listing carries some uncertainty, as launch availability can be uneven across regions.

The September 2026 window means there is no immediate deadline, but Nendoroids tied to popular characters have a history of selling out before they ship. Ordering early through official channels remains the safest way to secure one.
