Explicación
Calcharo stands out as a premier Electro Main-DPS unit, capable of unleashing a substantial amount of Electro damage through both his Skill and Liberation. The introduction of Yinlin has further elevated his performance, providing a highly effective sub-DPS that propels him to new heights.
Encore is an exceptional choice for a Fusion DPS in the game, focusing solely on dealing pure damage without any constraints. When she enters the Cosmos Rave state, she becomes a force to be reckoned with, doling out an insane amount of Fusion DMG. However, her lack of crowd control during this state and limited duration of 10 seconds can make her vulnerable to attacks.
Verina is a valuable asset to any party, offering both healing and buffs to the entire team through her comprehensive kit. She also periodically executes coordinated attacks that deal Spectro DMG while healing the currently active character. Nevertheless, Verina falls short in providing Crit Rate and Crit Damage buffs, a limitation that the Shorekeeper does not share.
Jiyan is a formidable DPS unit, exceling at dealing impressive single-target and AoE damage to take down any enemy in the game. His Ultimate ability can group smaller enemies, serving as a means of crowd control. Although Jiyan may not be on par with top-tier DPS units like Jinhsi in terms of burst damage, he remains a reliable choice for clearing out enemies in endgame content.
Rover (Havoc) is a high-damage dealer that facilitates easy activation of their Dark Surge state. With their Resonance Liberation, they possess high burst damage capability, but it's their Basic Attack that truly shines. To maximize damage, it's essential to hone your dodging skills and capitalize on the Basic Attack damage during Dark Surge.
Changli is a top-notch main-DPS unit, capable of dealing massive amounts of Fusion damage with her fully stacked Forte Circuit. She can even self-buff her ATK after using her Ultimate, allowing her to deal even more damage. While Changli can also assume a sub-DPS role thanks to her Outro Skill, it's generally more beneficial to utilize her as a main DPS due to her incredible damage potential.
Camellya is a skilled Havoc DPS unit, adept at dishing out combos that are far-reaching and predominantly AoE. Although she boasts high combo damage capability, her complex kit and multiple modes with separate combos can make her challenging to use. Currently, Camellya lacks a dedicated sub-DPS that complements her playstyle, with Sanhua being her primary sub-DPS due to the Basic Attack DMG Amplification she provides.
Mortefi has a unique mechanic that enables coordinated Fusion attacks to follow whenever you attack enemies, ensuring he deals damage even when off-field. This significantly increases his value in fights, especially when the on-field DPS uses Heavy Attacks. As a 4-star unit, Mortefi is relatively easy to obtain, making him a valuable addition to any team.
Sanhua is one of the best sub-DPS in the game, providing Basic Attack DMG Deepen for 14 seconds to the next character who takes the field. She also deals respectable damage but relies heavily on detonating ice structures using her Heavy Attacks. By doing so, Sanhua can amplify the damage output of her teammates, making her a valuable asset to any party.
Danjin is an excellent DPS unit for free-to-play players, capable of dealing substantial amounts of damage as long as you can effectively manage her HP-drain mechanic. This may prove challenging when facing tougher enemies, emphasizing the importance of player skill in ensuring Danjin's survival in fights.
Jianxin is a solid, middle-ground character who can excel as both a main and sub-DPS in Wuthering Waves. She can hold her own as a main-DPS, providing grouping and AoE damage against multiple enemies, while her Outro Skill also buffs Resonance Liberation DMG, making her a great sub-DPS. However, her versatility can sometimes make her fall short compared to characters with more defined roles in the meta.
Rover (Spectro) is a versatile character who can provide great sub-DPS capabilities by executing time stop with their Outro Skill, while also showcasing glimpses of main-DPS potential with her high-damage Resonance Liberation. Unfortunately, this jack-of-all-trades approach has resulted in the Spectro Rover falling behind other characters with more specialized roles.
Aalto can be considered a good sub-DPS unit, capable of buffing Aero DMG while dealing decent damage on his own. However, his performance is being outclassed by other sub-DPS units like Mortefi, who can deal damage even when off-field, making Aalto a less desirable choice.
Yuanwu is a sub-DPS unit who, similar to Mortefi, follows up with coordinated Electro DMG even when he's off-field. He can also reduce the enemy's Vibration Strength, which is the toughness bar below certain enemies. However, this effect only applies if the enemy is within the circle of effect, making it easily avoidable by mobile enemies.
Baizhi is a pure healer who can be used when the Shorekeeper and Verina are not available. She can burst-heal using her Resonance Skill and Liberation, as well as continuously heal and buff the next character that takes the field for 36 seconds. Although Baizhi provides valuable healing and buffs, her effects are limited to the next character who swaps in, rather than the entire party, which can restrict the flow of switching.
Youhu is a healer-support hybrid who can provide multiple buffs and effects in battle, from healing to vibration strength depletion efficiency. However, these buffs are obtained through a kit-based RNG system, which can be extremely inconsistent and sometimes disrupt rotations. Additionally, her Outro Skill only buffs the incoming resonator's Coordinated Attack, which is a niche effect that limits her overall value.
Lumi is a sub-DPS unit who can provide Resonance Skill DMG Amplification via her Outro Skill. Her kit is relatively straightforward, with good multipliers for her Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation. Although her damage may fall off when using Basic Attacks with her two Light Modes, she can deal decent damage when her Forte Circuit is full, making her a viable choice for teams.
Lingyang is currently being outclassed by his standard 5-star peers in the game, particularly those with impressive AoE damage capabilities. He also lacks a dedicated Glacio support, which further limits his potential. As a result, Lingyang's damage output has been subpar compared to other main-DPS units in the game.
Yangyang is the first free 4-star character that all players will receive. Although she provides decent damage and utility with her Aero grouping, she falls behind once better sub-DPS units that offer DMG buffs become available. As such, Yangyang's value is relatively short-lived.
Chixia is a DPS unit who excels against hordes of enemies due to her mobility and ease of use. She can also take on single-target bosses with ease, as long as you can reposition and evade properly. However, when dealing with mobs of enemies, her benefits can diminish if you're not careful, as she can be easily overwhelmed by multiple enemies.
Taoqi has found a new sub-DPS role in her team, providing Resonance Skill amplification while dishing out quick-switch damage with her Resonance Liberation. However, her scaling issues with her Forte and Shields remain a significant problem. If these scaling issues were addressed, Taoqi could have been a great sub-DPS-support hybrid character.
