The best main Echo for a Sub-DPS Lumi — maximizes the buff applied to the next character's Resonance Skill DMG.

A defensive alternative — provides shields for Lumi and the incoming character (if the shield remains when they arrive).

Damage-focused option — increases Lumi's own Electro DMG so she deals more while on-field. If Nightmare version isn't available, the regular Tempest Mephis from Huanglong is an acceptable substitute.

Moonlit Clouds (5-piece) is the recommended Sonata: it maximizes the buff Lumi gives to the next resonator.
If you need Lumi to deal personal damage (early game or double-DPS), run Void Thunder (5-piece) and Nightmare: Tempest Mephis as main echo.
Prioritize building Basic Attack DMG in substats because most of Lumi's damage comes from her Forte; keep Crit Rate/CRIT DMG balanced.
Lustrous Razor is the best-in-slot for energy regen and Resonance Liberation/rotation consistency. Discord is a strong budget 4★ pickup for Concerto/energy help.

Resonance Skill Sub-DPS Team

Lumi's Resonance Skill DMG buff is strong (+38%) but short (≈10s). She pairs best with on-field Resonance Skill-scaling DPS like Changli. Lumi is not a good Sub-DPS for Jinhsi because Jinhsi requires coordinated attacks to charge Forte; consider Mortefi or Cantarella for Jinhsi instead. Shorekeeper is the best support here, but Verina or Baizhi are viable alternatives. Off-field DPS (e.g., Phrolova) may not fully benefit due to the short buff window.

Primary objective: maximize a Resonance Skill DMG-scaling Main DPS (e.g., Changli) by using Lumi's Resonance Skill DMG buff (notably +38% Resonance Skill DMG)., 1) Open the fight with Shorekeeper to start charging her Resonance Liberation and Concerto Energy. Use Shorekeeper's Resonance Liberation as soon as available., 2) Once Concerto Energy is full, switch to Lumi and cast her Intro Skill to upgrade the Stellarealm and enhance buffs., 3) Use Lumi's optimal combo (switch between her two light modes) to charge her Resonance Liberation and/or refill Concerto Energy., 4) If available, use Lumi's Resonance Liberation. If Concerto Energy fills first, swap to Changli with full Concerto Energy to receive the Resonance Skill DMG buff and a Forte Gauge stack from Changli's Intro Skill; this also further upgrades Shorekeeper's Stellarealm., 5) Play Changli on-field, use combos to max her Forte Gauge, and use Enhanced Heavy Attacks and Resonance Liberation when possible to capitalize on the buff., 6) While dealing damage with Changli, recharge Concerto Energy; when full, swap back to Shorekeeper to detonate the Stellarealm for a burst. Repeat rotation until the enemy is defeated.
