Haniel is a support character who boosts the team's ATK and also functions as a sub-DPS through her off-field damage. She can quickly empower allies, but offers little beyond buffs and Hootie's attacks, so you will be switching to other team members often.
Strengths
- Increases the entire team's ATK with her Skill.
- Deals reliable off-field damage through Hootie.
- Fits both Discord and Charge team compositions.
- Can trigger Chaos Eclipse and apply Nova when paired with Chaos characters.
- Works well as a pure support in many teams.

- Doesn't offer much beyond her buffs and off-field damage.
- Requires frequent character swapping to maximize effectiveness.
- Her best Cartridge and Arc rely on being off-field.
- Needs good team synergies to truly shine.
Best Arcs
Increases the active character's ATK by 10% while the wearer is off-field, and increases the active character's ATK by 2% when the wearer deals damage, up to 4 stacks. Also increases Psyche DMG by 12% while the wearer is active, and by 2% per Psyche DMG Basic Attack, up to 10 stacks.
Increases HP by 24%. When the wearer casts an Ultimate, grants one of three random effects: heals the ally with the lowest HP percentage by 20% Max HP, grants a shield equal to 20% of the wearer's Max HP, or recovers 10% HP for all allies. Triggers once every 30 seconds.
Increases ATK by 20% when the wearer's HP is above 50%, and increases DEF by 20% when HP is below 50%.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Charge Efficiency +12%. Legendary (4): Increases all allies' ATK by 15% for 20s after the wearer casts Ultimate. Effect does not stack.
Best Main Stat: Cycle Intensity or Psyche DMG Bonus
- Cycle Intensity is usually better for helping team Esper Cycles.
- Psyche DMG Bonus is a good choice when you want Haniel to burst more damage.

Take advantage of the Charge Cycle to charge Ultimates faster when Vita Pistils hit enemies affected by Remora.

Haniel's Skill is the most important part of her kit, as it buffs the team and provides off-field damage. Prioritize leveling this skill.
A Melody Named Haniel (Ultimate)
Her Ultimate empowers the effects of her Skill, so level this second.

How to Play
Haniel is an off-field support and sub-DPS. Use her Skill to summon Hootie and buff the team's ATK, then swap to your main DPS. Cast her Ultimate before her Skill to maximize buff uptime, and pair her with Chaos or Lakshana characters to enable Nova and Stain.
Rotations
- 1Sustain/Mitigation Skill → Haniel Ultimate → Haniel Skill → Swap to Sub-DPS.
- 2In a Discord team: Apply Scorch first → Haniel applies Nova → Discord triggers.
Tips
- Use her Skill to place Hootie and apply ATK buffs to the whole team.
- Activate her Ultimate before her Skill to double the buff uptime and make Hootie more powerful.
