You can also opt for a mix of Havoc Eclipse and Lingering Tunes if you have better sub-stats for those pieces. This increases both Havoc DMG and ATK - great for a Havoc DPS like Rover-Havoc.

The combination of Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation enables Havoc Rover to be a great burst Main DPS unit overall. Focus on upgrading these first.

After upgrading main burst abilities, improve Resonance Skill and Normal Attacks to increase damage outside Dark Surge state.

Use enhanced versions of attacks in Dark Surge for maximized damage output.

Dreamless echo synergizes very well with Rover's burst combos, increasing area damage significantly.

Consider alternative weapons if substats are more favorable, but Emerald of Genesis remains top choice.

Echo sets: Havoc Eclipse (5‑pc) on Rover, Midnight Veil (5‑pc) on Roccia, Rejuvenating Glow (5‑pc) on Shorekeeper. Shorekeeper provides healing plus party Crit Rate/Crit DMG buffs; if her second Inherent Skill is unlocked she grants the Rover +10% Energy Regen while her Stellarealm is active. Roccia's Outro Skill grants Havoc DMG and Basic Attack DMG amplification to the Rover. Note: this team's damage is drastically reduced vs enemies immune to Havoc (e.g., the Havoc Prism).

1) Shorekeeper starts the battle and charges her Resonance Liberation alongside the team's Concerto Energy until the other Resonators' icons glow. Cast her Resonance Liberation once available to set up her Stellarealm., 2) Once Roccia is fully charged, switch to her. Shorekeeper's Outro Skill will provide Crit buffs and healing while inside the Stellarealm., 3) Use Roccia's optimal combo to charge her Liberation and Concerto Energy. Finally, switch to the Rover when the Concerto Energy is full to increase the Rover's Havoc and Basic Attack DMG., 4) Charge the Rover's Forte Circuit gauge so they can enter the Dark Surge state and perform their combos. Cast their Resonance Liberation whenever possible., 5) Switch to Shorekeeper with full Concerto Energy to detonate the Stellarealm for a burst of damage., 6) Repeat the rotation until enemies are defeated.

Echo sets: Havoc Eclipse (5‑pc) on Rover, Moonlit Clouds (5‑pc) on Sanhua, Rejuvenating Glow (5‑pc) on Baizhi. This F2P comp relies on Sanhua to provide Rover's Basic ATK amplification while Dark Surge is active. The third slot can be Baizhi or Shorekeeper if you own Shorekeeper.

1) Sanhua starts the battle and charges Concerto Energy, dealing damage with her ice structures and filling icons., 2) Once Rover is fully charged, switch to them to use their Intro Skill; switching from Sanhua to Rover amplifies Rover's Basic ATK DMG for Dark Surge., 3) Continuously use Rover's Basic Attacks and, when ready, use Rover's Resonance Liberation (follow with Dreamless Echo if available)., 4) Switch back to Sanhua to continue charging Concerto Energy. If healing is needed, switch to Baizhi and use their healing skill., 5) Repeat until enemies are defeated.
