A TierDaffodill Build Guide
Daffodill is a unique Break-Burst DPS whose kit is specially designed to deal Break Intensity damage. She deals respectable damage that shines most when the enemy's weakness is about to break, but her timings and damage windows are strict.

Best Arcs
Black Tome: Increases Break Intensity by 60. Seals Arc: Black Tome with two chains by default. Unleashes 1 chain each time any character on the team casts a Support Skill. Arc: Black Tome — Summons the Black Tome for 20s. Designates an enemy every 5s. Increases the wearer's Chaos DMG dealt to designated enemies by 20%. Deals Chaos DMG equal to 2% of the wearer's ATK to designated enemies when they take Break Damage.
Film - MANISH: Increases Break Intensity by 48. Increases DMG by 10% against Broken units.
Inspiration Terminator: Grants the wearer 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Chaos DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Ignores 12% of enemies' Chaos RES. Ignores 24% of enemies' Chaos RES for 20s after the wearer participates in Nova or Scorch reactions.
Best Main Stat: CRIT Rate or Break Intensity
- CRIT Rate is the general choice for overall usefulness, while Break Intensity homes in on her role as a Burst-Break DPS.

- This layout activates Diabolos's 4-piece effect while maximizing the bonus Module bonus.
- Try to get Modules with these sub stats to improve Daffodill's Chaos DMG and Break Damage.
Best Teams
Daffodill serves as the Break unit Sub-DPS of most of her teams, often paired with Baicang to trigger Scorch and Haniel to trigger Nova, which in turn triggers Discord. The last slot can be Adler for survivability or Jiuyuan for more Damage Over Time (DOT).

Alternatives
Start with a Psyche or Incantation character to trigger Nova or Scorch when swapping to Daffodill.
Use Support Skills to empower Daffodill's Skill before casting it.
Activate Daffodill's Ultimate to apply Insight and gain Phantom Step charges.
Use Phantom Step to parry attacks and refill her Ultimate Energy.
Let Baicang and Haniel trigger Scorch and Nova to activate Discord.
- Jiuyuan can replace Adler for more DOT, but you lose survivability.
This team prioritizes Scorch instead of Discord, continuously reapplying DOT on enemies. Baicang, Sakiri, and Adler all have passive skills that improve the effects of Scorch on enemies.

Use Baicang, Sakiri, and Adler to apply and enhance Scorch on enemies.
Use Daffodill to break the enemy quickly while Scorch DoT deals damage.
- This team focuses on Scorch instead of Discord, trading burst synergy for sustained damage.
Skill Priority
Crossed Blades (Support Skill)
Provides extra damage to her Break-intensive kit, but is not a priority until other abilities are raised.
Finale (Ultimate)
Responsible for Phantom Step counters and Insight application, so it should be leveled second.
Still Waters (Basic Attack)
Basic Attacks make up a good bulk of damage since she deals additional Break Damage.
Resonance (Skill)
Daffodill's main bread and butter. Can be powered up by teammates before casting, making it a top priority.
Awakening Priority
Assembly of Creations
Insight is extremely powerful, so keeping its uptime is critical. This makes Assembly of Creations the top priority.
Eye
Increases Skill DMG significantly per Support Skill cast. Her Skill makes up a large part of her damage, and is usually cast after Support Skills anyway.
Mechanical March
Allows Daffodill to use Phantom Step in more cases, giving her the option to use Finale again if a Parry is not performed.
Perfect Truth
Applies another Insight to enemies when they are Broken under Insight's effects. Not a hard requirement, but a powerful prerequisite for A4.
In Concealment
Since Insight has a longer duration and you generate another Insight stack with A5, this provides more Break DMG bonus from multiple Insight stacks.
Bloom in the Lake
Allows Daffodill to ignore 15% of enemy DEF. Good to have, but lacks synergy compared to other Awakening Effects.
How to Play
Start combat with a Psyche or Incantation character to trigger Nova or Scorch, then swap to Daffodill. Empower her Skill with Support Skills before using it. Use her Ultimate to apply Insight and gain Phantom Step charges, and parry attacks to recharge her Ultimate. Keep her in Discord teams to maximize Break and damage.
Rotations
- 1Fadia Skill → Sakiri Hold Skill → Sakiri Ultimate → Daffodill Skill → Daffodill Ultimate → Baicang Skill and Ultimate → Daffodill Switch (Phantom Step) → Baicang Damage Rotation (Possible Scorch Trigger)
Tips
- Trigger Support Skills to empower Daffodill's Skill; try to perform at least two Support Skills to fully empower it.
- Use her Ultimate to apply Insight on enemies, increasing the Break Damage they take.
- Parry attacks with Phantom Step to immediately refill her Ultimate Energy.
- Run Daffodill in Discord teams to take advantage of her Breaking capabilities and her passive skill that lowers Break Cap when Discord triggers.
