A TierDaffodill Build Guide
Daffodill's status as a Break-Burst DPS puts her in a special place since she's the only one that can currently function this way as of right now, as her kit is specially designed to deal Break Intensity damage. She is placed in A-tier since she brings respectable damage that shines most when the enemy's weakness is about to break, but that also serves as a downside since her timings and damage windows are strict.

Best Arcs
Increases Break Intensity by 60. Seals Arc: Black Tome with two chains. Unleashes 1 chain each time any character casts a Support Skill. Epic (2): Chaos DMG +10%. Legendary (4): Ignores 12% of enemies' Chaos RES. Ignores 24% of enemies' Chaos RES for 20s after the wearer participates in Nova or Scorch reactions.

- CRIT Rate is the general choice for overall usefulness. Break Intensity is also viable for a Break-focused sub-DPS build.

Daffodill serves as the Break unit Sub-DPS, often paired with Baicang to trigger Scorch, and Haniel to trigger Nova, which in turn triggers Discord. The last member can be Adler for survivability or Jiuyuan for more DOT.

Increases Skill DMG significantly per support skill cast. Get this second as her Skill is a bulk of her damage.

Allows Phantom Step in more cases, giving the option to use Finale again if a Parry is not performed.
Perfect Truth
Applies another instance of Insight to enemies when Broken under Insight's effects. Not a hard requirement but powerful.
In Concealment
With longer Insight duration and more stacks, provides more Break DMG bonus.
Bloom in the Lake
Allows ignoring 15% of enemy DEF. Good but lacks synergy compared to other effects.
How to Play
Daffodill is a Break-Burst DPS who excels at breaking enemies and dealing Chaos DMG. Her gameplay loop involves using Support Skills to empower her Skill, applying Insight via Ultimate, and parrying attacks with Phantom Step to recharge her Ultimate. She performs best in Discord teams to reduce enemy Break cap.
Rotations
- 1Start with Support Skills to empower Daffodill's Skill (e.g., Fadia Skill → Sakiri Hold Skill → Sakiri Ultimate).
- 2Swap to Daffodill, use empowered Skill, then Ultimate.
