Build Guides
Complete build guides for every hunter. Best arcs, cartridges, teams, skill priorities, and gameplay tips.
Skia
LakshanaSkia serves as a Lakshana frontline DPS that excels in long fights, allowing him to make the most out of Fang Thrust. However, Fang Thrust itself can be clunky and inconsistent due to him needing to constantly keep it on an enemy, which he likely loses when swapping out to restart team rotations. This lands him in C-tier since other units have easier times keeping consistent rotations.
Nanally
NatureNanally is a strong DPS character capable of dealing large amounts of Anima DMG to her foes with a flurry of attacks. When using her Skill, she gains increased CRIT DMG and can walk on any surface, useful both in and out of combat. If you are looking for a strong Main DPS and a way to easily climb buildings, then the S-Tier Nanally is the Esper for you.
Sakiri
IncantationSakiri provides both reliable crowd-control with her held skill and considerable ATK% buffs with her Ultimate. When paired with her Best-in-Slot Arc and Cartridge, this ATK bonus is amplified even further. These points, combined with her rather universal use case, solidify her as an S-tier character welcome on most teams alongside most DPS units.
Baicang
IncantationBaicang deals a plethora of Incantation DMG from multiple sources in his kit, coupled with versatile combos, making him a solid Main DPS. However, his combos can be difficult to execute and his moveset feels clunky, placing him at A-tier due to other S-ranks being more convenient.
Hathor
LakshanaHathor is a Burst DPS character capable of dealing large amounts of Lakshana DMG thanks to her Ultimate and empowered Skill. Stacking Express Delivery Power charges her Ultimate quickly, allowing frequent burst damage.
Zero
CosmosZero frontloads damage into their Ultimate and Skill, offering scaling burst potential through Awakenings. However, this reliance on burst makes them better suited as a Sub-DPS for general play, falling off in endgame content.
Chiz
CosmosChiz is a strong DPS character that can continuously deal Cosmos DMG to enemies with her kit, which revolves around the management of Grain. The more Grain Chiz has, the stronger her attacks become. While Chiz's kit may seem confusing at first with its stock market-like mechanics, it is easy to get used to and will allow you to dispatch enemies with ease.
Daffodill
ChaosDaffodill's status as a Break-Burst DPS puts her in a special place since she's the only one that can currently function this way as of right now, as her kit is specially designed to deal Break Intensity damage. She is placed in A-tier since she brings respectable damage that shines most when the enemy's weakness is about to break, but that also serves as a downside since her timings and damage windows are strict.
Jiuyuan
NatureAn Anima-based burst DPS with a quickswap playstyle. She excels at dealing frontloaded damage via her Ultimate and Lethal Rose Pact, and can flex into a support role thanks to her Blossom enhancement utility. Her versatility earns her an A-tier ranking.
Fadia
PsycheFadia is a Survival character whose gimmick is to mitigate the damage her teammates take by taking part of the damage herself. Then, upon reaching a certain threshold, she can perform an empowered version of her Ultimate, which deals more damage and heals more of Fadia's HP. This makes Fadia a great tank and sub-DPS, although managing her HP will take some getting used to.
Haniel
PsycheHaniel is a Buffer who increases the team's ATK and deals off-field damage via Hootie. However, she offers little beyond her buffs and off-field damage, so you will quickly switch to other party members after applying buffs.
Mint
NatureMint is a good DPS character thanks to her strong single-target capabilities, as well as her Skill, which has a low cooldown. This allows her to not only deal a lot of damage, but also lets her use it to parry enemy attacks. Her downside, however, is that she is quickly outclassed by other DPS characters later in the game.
Adler
IncantationAdler supports the team by providing both shields that scale with DEF, and DoT damage that scales on standard damage means. Overall, though, he is placed in B-tier as the damage he offers is lacking compared to other DPS units, and is thus sought out mostly for his shielding.
Aurelia
PsycheAurelia is a Main DPS that deals damage in a unique way, able to attack normally and also deal damage while moving quickly, making her mobile in combat. However, she struggles against mobile bosses and cannot climb walls, impairing her out-of-combat mobility.
Edgar
CosmosEdgar is one of the game's healers, capable of topping up the party's HP with his Skill and Ultimate. His healing abilities, however, are very stationary. His skill makes him stand still, while his Ultimate is applied in a fixed area. This can make it difficult for Edgar to heal his team when facing mobile bosses and enemies.
