Explanation

Brant brings a unique set of skills to the table, offering team-wide buffs and sustain without compromising his personal damage output. By converting ER to Attack, he proves to be a valuable asset, particularly when paired with Changli. Even in F2P teams that focus on Basic Attacks and Resonance Skills, Brant's abilities make him a desirable addition, thanks to his Outro Skill and Forte Circuit.

Changli is a character with a rich set of abilities, including the power to deal significant damage and provide support to her allies. With her skills and equipment, she can take on a variety of roles, making her a versatile and valuable member of any team.

Jianxin occupies a middle ground, exceling as both a Main and Sub-DPS in Wuthering Waves. Her ability to provide grouping and AoE damage against multiple enemies makes her a solid choice, and her Outro Skill's buff to Resonance Liberation DMG only adds to her value. However, her versatility can sometimes make her seem less defined compared to characters with more specialized roles.

Spectro Rover is a jack-of-all-trades, boasting impressive Sub-DPS capabilities and the ability to execute time stops with her Outro Skill. She also shows promise as a Main-DPS, thanks to her high-damage Resonance Liberation. Unfortunately, her versatility can be a double-edged sword, as she may struggle to stand out in a meta where characters with more defined roles tend to shine.

Aalto is a reliable Sub-DPS unit who can buff Aero DMG while dealing a decent amount of damage on his own. Although he may not be the most exceptional Sub-DPS, he holds his own and can provide valuable support to his team. However, characters like Mortefi may outclass him in certain situations, particularly when it comes to dealing damage off-field.

Yuanwu is a Sub-DPS unit with a unique set of skills, including the ability to follow up with coordinated Electro DMG even when he's off-field. He can also reduce the enemy's Vibration Strength, making him a valuable asset in certain situations. However, this ability only applies if the enemy is within the circle of effect, which can be easily avoided by mobile enemies.

Baizhi is a pure healer who can provide burst healing and continuous healing and buffing to the next character that takes the field. Although she may not be as effective as Verina, she can still provide valuable support to her team. Unlocking her Inherent Skill 1 also grants ATK boosts to the next on-field DPS, making her a solid choice for teams without access to more powerful healers.

Youhu is a healer-support hybrid who can provide multiple buffs and effects in battle, from healing to vibration strength depletion efficiency. However, her kit is hindered by a RNG system that can be inconsistent and unpredictable, making it challenging to rely on her in teams. Her Outro Skill only buffs the incoming resonator's Coordinated Attack, which can be niche and limiting in certain situations.

Lumi is a Sub-DPS unit who can provide Resonance Skill DMG Amplification via her Outro Skill, making her a valuable asset to teams. Her kit is straightforward, with good multipliers for her Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation. Although her damage may fall off when using Basic Attacks, she can deal decent damage when her Forte Circuit is full, making her a solid choice for teams looking for a 4-star Resonance Skill Amplification unit.

Lingyang is a character who is struggling to keep up with his 5-star peers, particularly in terms of AoE damage capabilities. Without a dedicated Glacio support, his damage output is subpar compared to other Main-DPS in the game, making him a less desirable choice for teams.

Yangyang is a free 4-star character who provides decent damage and utility with her Aero grouping. However, she quickly falls off once the player unlocks better Sub-DPS units that provide DMG buffs, making her a less desirable choice for teams looking to optimize their damage output.

Chixia is a DPS unit who excels against hordes of enemies, thanks to her mobility and ease of use. She can take on single-target bosses with ease, as long as the player can reposition and evade properly. However, her benefits may decrease when dealing with mobs of enemies, as she can be easily overwhelmed if not managed carefully.

Taoqi has found a new role as a Sub-DPS in teams, providing Resonance Skill amplification and quick-switch damage with her Resonance Liberation. Although she still struggles with split scaling issues with her Forte and Shields, she can be a valuable asset to teams, particularly when paired with characters like Jinhsi.
