Eternal Radiance is Zani's best-in-slot echo set. As her kit mainly revolves around Spectro Frazzle DMG, she maximizes the bonuses provided by the set. Capitaneus, a 3-cost echo, is currently the best in slot for Zani because it provides Heavy ATK and Spectro DMG Bonuses.

Capitaneus is the best in slot option for Zani as it provides Heavy ATK DMG Bonus and Spectro DMG Bonus. The echo also provides decent damage and will not interrupt Zani's rotation since you just summon it. Capitaneus is pretty hard to farm though, so Nightmare: Mourning Aix is a viable option. If you have a bunch of non-Spectro DMG Bonus Capitaneus lying around, consider using Data Modifiers to change its main stats to Spectro DMG Bonus.

Nightmare: Mourning Aix is the second viable option for Zani because of the Spectro DMG Bonus it provides. The echo also deals increased damage against Frazzled enemies and it can be summoned without interrupting Zani's combos. It is easier to farm than Capitaneus, so use this if you do not have a good Capitaneus echo yet.

Push for 115% - 120% Energy Regen to ensure Resonance Liberation is available in rotation.
Balance Crit Rate and Crit DMG, then prioritize Heavy Attack DMG Bonus, ATK%, and Energy Regen.
Capitaneus is the best main echo; use Data Modifiers if you get a non-Spectro DMG one.

Best Teams for Zani

Spectro Frazzle Premium Team

Being the Main DPS, Zani wants as much Spectro Frazzle stacks to convert into Heliacal Embers. Players will want to pair her with Phoebe as she is currently the best applicator in the game with her Confession state. Phoebe can run either Moonlit Clouds or Eternal Radiance, with Moonlit Clouds providing extra ER for Phoebe and ATK increase to Zani. On the other hand, Eternal Radiance will let Phoebe deal more damage but you will have to rely on additional ER substat rolls. As for the third slot, Shorekeeper fits the team well as she provides Zani with extra stats and team-wide buffs that will increase her damage potential further., 1. Initiate combat with Zani and build up her Redundant Energy with her Basic Attack combo. This will help her maximize her Inferno Mode rotation later on., 2. Switch to Shorekeeper and go through her kit. Cast her Resonance Liberation and have her Concerto Energy filled before swapping to Phoebe., 3. Have Phoebe enter Confession mode and stack Spectro Frazzle stacks with two Heavy Attacks and her Resonance Liberation., 4. Once her Concerto Gauge is full, switch to Zani., 5. Enter combat via her Intro Skill to get a Spectro DMG Bonus increase., 6. With her Redundant Energy being full, cast her transformed Resonance Skill to deal decent damage and enter her Sunburst Mode and get a 20% Spectro Frazzle DMG amplification., 7. Next, cast Resonance Liberation to enter her Inferno Mode., 8. In Inferno Mode, do two sets of Heavy Slash combos to deplete her Blaze stacks. Each Blaze stack increase her DMG multipliers., 9. Once her Blaze stacks are depleted, you will be primed to use her second Liberation. Cast it to deal big damage against enemies., 10. Lastly, switch to Shorekeeper to detonate her Stellarealm. Repeat until all enemies are defeated., Note: You may also opt switch to Shorekeeper (if Concerto is full) before using Zani's second Liberation in case your Shorekeeper Stellarealm is close to expiring to ensure that Shorekeeper's Intro Skill is triggered. You may then switch back to Zani and use her second Liberation, and finally back to Shorekeeper for her combos.

Free to Play Frazzle Team

Zani works well even in F2P teams, as Spectro Rover is a great Spectro Frazzle applicator that is accessible to all players. Pair them with Baizhi or Verina to ensure survivability while also getting team-wide buffs. Alternatively, consider having the Heavy Attack Frazzle team instead especially in the early game, as Zani can output more damage this way in exchange for little to no heals., 1. Start with Zani and quickly build her Redundant Energy stacks using her Basic Attack combo up to her Breakthrough attack., 2. Next, switch to Rover without waiting for Zani's Concerto gauge to be filled., 3. Build up Spectro Frazzle stacks with Rover by casting their Resonance Liberation and two instances of their Resonance Skill. Then, switch to Zani., 4. Enter via her Intro Skill to amplify her damage. Once her transformed Resonance Skill is available, cast it to increase her damage via Sunburst Mode., 5. Next, use her Resonance Liberation to enter Inferno Mode., 6. Do Heavy Slash combos with her attacks. Using her Resonance Skill, you can parry enemies before they hit you to fully negate their attacks., 7. Once her Blaze stacks are depleted with her Heavy Slashes, cast Resonance Liberation again to perform The Last Stand, dealing high damage., 8. If Resonators are running low on HP, heal them with Baizhi. Repeat this until enemies are defeated.

Heavy Attack Frazzle Team

Mortefi must have his Sequence Node 4 to use Empyrean Anthem. Spectro Rover must have their Sequence Node 4 to make this team work.

Players can run Zani together with Mortefi and Rover (Spectro) to have a more damage-oriented setup. Mortefi is a good Sub-DPS for Zani as he provides a significant Heavy Attack DMG amplification and decent off-field damage with his Coordinated Attacks, but falls short as he has no Spectro Frazzle application for Zani to cast her Heavy Slash combos. Rover (Spectro) fixes this issue in the third slot by being a dedicated Spectro Frazzle applicator. However, we recommend equipping Rejuvenating Glow on them to provide more consistent sustain and ATK buffs to the team., 1. Have Zani enter combat and do her Basic Attack combo until Breakthrough to fill her Redundant Energy gauge., 2. Without Concerto Gauge filled, swap to Rover and do their optimal attack combo to fill half of their Forte gauge quickly. Cast their Resonance Skill afterwards to apply 2 stacks of Spectro Frazzle., 3. Next, switch to Mortefi and use his Skill resets and Basic Attacks to build up his Concerto and Resonance Energy., 4. Switch again to Rover while Mortefi's Concerto Gauge isn't full., 5. With Rover, cast Resonance Liberation and another cast of their Resonance Skill: Resonating Spin to apply Spectro Frazzle stacks quickly., 6. Once their Concerto gauge is full, switch again to Mortefi., 7. Have Mortefi finally cast his Resonance Liberation, followed by his Echo skill and Resonance Skill to reach maximum Concerto Energy., 8. When Outro Skill is available, switch to Zani to provide her with Heavy Attack DMG amplification together with her Spectro DMG Bonus increase through her Intro Skill., 9. Once her Transformed Skill is available, cast it to deal decent damage and give her another Spectro Frazzle DMG amplification buff., 10. Next, cast her Resonance Liberation to enter Inferno Mode., 11. In Inferno Mode, deal Heavy Slash combos and consume Blaze to increase her DMG multipliers. Use her Resonance Skill, if needed, to block damage and fully counter enemies., 12. When her Blaze stacks are depleted, cast Resonance Liberation again to exit Inferno Mode and deal great damage to enemies., 13. Repeat until no more enemies are left in the field.

When Zani is not in Inferno Mode and has full Redundant Energy, her Resonance Skill is replaced with Resonance Skill Crisis Response Protocol.
Hold Resonance Skill to enter Ready Stance. While in Ready Stance, Zani is immune to interruption. This state ends early if Zani is switched off the field. After releasing Resonance Skill button or when the stance duration ends, consume all Redundant Energy to cast Targeted Action, dealing Spectro DMG, which is also considered Spectro Frazzle DMG.
When attacked by an enemy in while in Ready Stance, reduce this instance of damage by 100% and consume all Redundant Energy to cast Forcible Riposte, dealing Spectro DMG (also considered Spectro Frazzle DMG), Stagnating the target, and further reducing their Vibration Strength by 5%. Casting Targeted Action or Forcible Riposte sends Zani into Sunburst mode and inflicts a stack of Heliacal Ember upon the target on hit. The last stage of the attack recovers Blaze.

When Zani is in the team and a nearby Resonator inflicts Spectro Frazzle upon a target, immediately consume all Spectro Frazzle stacks and trigger the corresponding DMG, then convert Spectro Frazzle into an equal number of Heliacal Embers. Every time the conversion happens, Zani obtains Blaze based on the stacks of Heliacal Ember inflicted. Heliacal Ember is capped at 60 stacks, with each stack lasting for 6s. Heliacal Ember stacks are counted toward the Spectro Frazzle stacks for the Eternal Radiance Sonata Effect.

Scorching Light
When Zani is in Inferno Mode, Heavy Slash - Daybreak, Heavy Slash - Dawning, Heavy Slash - Nightfall, and Heavy Slash - Lightsmash become available, which deal Spectro DMG that is considered both Heavy Attack DMG and Spectro Frazzle DMG.
When Blaze is no less than 30, Resonance Skill Standard Defense Protocol is replaced with Resonance Skill Scorching Light.
