C Tier TierEdgar Build Guide
Edgar is a Cosmos healer who can top up the party's HP with Wild Current and Finnegan's Wake. His healing is stationary, using a channeled Skill and a fixed-area Ultimate, but he finds a strong niche in Charge teams by applying Remora and using Gentle Edge to charge allies' Ultimates.
Strengths
- Reliable healer for low-HP allies with his Skill and Ultimate.
- Strong Charge support: applies Remora and Gentle Edge can fully charge an ally's Ultimate.
- Can become a buffer with Speedy Hedgehog or his second Awakening's DEF boost.
- Fits both Charge and Blossom team compositions.
Weaknesses
- Healing is stationary; his Skill channels in place and his Ultimate is a fixed area.
- Struggles to heal against mobile bosses and enemies that move out of his ranges.
- His Skill channel leaves him vulnerable and requires careful dodge timing.
- Charge Ultimate Energy recovery is locked out for 30 seconds after Gentle Edge triggers.
Best Arcs
Best Cartridge

Best Main Stat: Healing Bonus or HP%
- Healing Bonus and HP% perform similarly for healing, but Healing Bonus only comes from main stats, while HP% can appear on substats.
- If possible, use a Healing Bonus main stat with HP% substats.

- This layout activates Thea's Night Tavern's 4-piece effect while maximizing bonuses from the bonus Module.
- Try to get Modules with the listed sub stats to improve Edgar's healing abilities.
Best Teams
Charge-focused team that uses Edgar as the Support and healer. Charge triggers Edgar's Gentle Edge, granting 120 Ultimate Energy to fully charge an ally's Ultimate, while Remora from Hathor or Skia lowers enemy mobility and attack speed.

Edgar
Support
Healer and Charge support; applies Remora and can fully charge an ally's Ultimate through Gentle Edge.

Hathor
Sub-DPS (Flex)
Lakshana option who can apply Remora. Can be swapped with Skia.

Nanally
Main DPS (Flex)
Charge Eclipse Cycle trigger. Can be swapped with Mint.

Jiuyuan
Sub-DPS (Flex)
Blossom option. Can be swapped with Zero for faster Eclipse Cycles.
Alternatives
Edgar is the Support and healer; his Charge-triggered Gentle Edge can fully charge an ally's Ultimate every 30 seconds.
Use Hathor or Skia to apply Remora, lowering enemy movement and attack speed.
Nanally or Mint serves as Main DPS and the final trigger for the Charge Eclipse Cycle.
Jiuyuan strengthens Blossom reactions, while Zero can speed up Eclipse Cycles.
- This team focuses on the Charge Eclipse Cycle, which causes Edgar to charge a large amount of Ultimate Energy for the active character.
- Charge Ultimate Energy recovery is disabled for 30 seconds after it triggers, so time Ultimate uses around that window.
Blossom-centric team with Edgar as the Support, healing low-health allies while Nanally or Mint deals main damage and Zero triggers Blossom. Jiuyuan strengthens the Blossom reaction as an additional Sub-DPS.

Nanally
Main DPS (Flex)
Main DPS. Can be swapped with Mint.

Zero
Sub-DPS

Jiuyuan

Alternatives
Edgar provides healing to low-health allies while Nanally or Mint carries the main damage.
Zero is primarily in charge of triggering Blossom.
Jiuyuan acts as the team's other Sub-DPS and strengthens the Blossom reaction.
- Use Edgar's healing to keep the Blossom team's DPS and Sub-DPS alive while they maintain reactions.
- Nanally or Mint can fill the Main DPS slot depending on available characters.
Skill Priority
Weight of Knowledge (Support Skill)
Since you will switch to Edgar often, upgrading his Support Skill increases its damage, but it is not urgent.
Combat Practice (Basic Attack)
Edgar will not attack as often, so this skill can be delayed.
Finnegan's Wake (Ultimate)
Finnegan's Wake deals a large amount of damage and provides healing over a duration. Upgrade it after Edgar's Skill.
Wild Current (Skill)
Most of Edgar's healing and damage comes from his Skill, so prioritize improving it first.
Awakening Priority
One of the Eibon Detectives
Improves the healing Edgar's Skill does on low-health allies, making it perfect for emergencies.
Visitor from Planet Curiosity
Improves Edgar's capabilities as a buffer by making his Ultimate apply a DEF boost to allies within range.
Intern Anomaly
Caps the cooldown extension that Wild Current can get to 3 seconds, allowing Edgar to use it longer without worrying about ramping cooldown.
Skilled Strategist
Increases the damage of Edgar's Skill, allowing him to deal more damage while healing teammates.
Guardian of the Antique Shop's Light
Increases Edgar's Max HP, improving both his healing and his survivability.
Anomaly-Loving Observer
When active, Edgar receives Keys of Truth whenever a teammate casts a Support Skill. Each Key of Truth increases his Ultimate's duration by 1 second. Take this after unlocking the Passive Skill Unchanging Warmth.
How to Play
Edgar is a stationary healer and support. Hold his Skill to channel healing and damage, save his Ultimate to heal your DPS while they keep attacking, and use him in Charge teams to apply Remora and charge allies' Ultimates through Gentle Edge.
Rotations
- 1Hold the Skill button to channel Wild Current, dealing damage to enemies and healing the ally with the lowest HP.
- 2Save Edgar's Ultimate until your Main or Sub-DPS needs healing while they are on the field.
- 3Trigger Charge to use Gentle Edge and fully charge an ally's Ultimate, then repeat after the 30-second lockout.
Tips
- Hold Edgar's Skill to increase healing, but be ready to dodge because he is vulnerable while channeling.
- Use Edgar's Ultimate on your Main or Sub-DPS so they can continue dealing damage inside the healing domain.
- Edgar thrives in Charge compositions; his passive Gentle Edge grants 120 Ultimate Energy when Charge triggers, enough to fully charge an Ultimate, but Charge Energy recovery is disabled for 30 seconds afterward.
- Place healing where mobile bosses and enemies will stay, since Edgar's Skill and Ultimate are stationary.
