S TierIroi Build Guide
Iroi is an Anima Support who keeps the team healthy with healing, revives, and team-wide support effects. She is best on teams with aggressive Main DPS characters who want long on-field rotations, since Iroi can sustain them while they deal the bulk of the team's damage. Build ATK% and Cycle Intensity to improve her healing, buffs, and Ultimate uptime. With Speedy Hedgehog, she also provides a teamwide ATK buff after using her Ultimate.
Strengths
- Provides strong teamwide healing, revives, and general survivability.
- Turns healing into offensive support with her signature Arc and best Cartridge.
- Fits aggressive Main DPS teams by enabling safer extended on-field rotations.
- Can contribute extra Anima damage through Daydream, Lucid Dream, and her enhanced Ultimate.
Weaknesses
- Needs ATK% and Cycle Intensity to maximize healing, buffing, and Ultimate availability.
- Reaches her highest support value with the limited signature Arc The Wrong Gate.
- Personal damage is lower unless she invests in CRIT and Anima DMG.
- Enhanced Ultimate effects require managing Imagination stacks.
Best Arcs

Reverie Gate: Increases ATK by 16%. When the wearer performs healing, increases the wearer's Anima DMG by 30% and all allies' DMG by 15% for 20s. Resets duration when triggered again. Same-name effects do not stack.

Increases Break Intensity by 60. Seals Black Tome with two chains by default. Unleashes one chain each time any character on the team casts a Support Skill. When both chains are unleashed, summons Black Tome for 20s. Black Tome designates an enemy every 5s, increases the wearer's Chaos DMG to designated enemies by 20%, and deals Chaos DMG equal to 2% of the wearer's ATK when designated enemies take Break Damage.

Paper Squadron: Increases Anima DMG dealt by the wearer's Redirect Skill and Ultimate by 20%.
Best Cartridge
Epic (2): Charge Efficiency +12%. Legendary (4): After the wearer casts Ultimate, increases all allies' ATK by 15% for 20s. Effect does not stack.
Best Main Stat: ATK%
- ATK% is the best main stat because Iroi's healing and support scale with ATK.
- Prioritize ATK% and ATK substats, then Cycle Intensity for more frequent Ultimates.
- CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are useful if you want Iroi to contribute more damage.
Module Layout
Required Modules
Bonus: Type III (+10% ATK)
Total Bonus: +60% ATK
Substat Priority
- Four Type III modules activate Speedy Hedgehog's 4-piece effect and maximize the Type III ATK bonus.
- Prioritize ATK% and ATK first, then Cycle Intensity, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG.
Best Teams
A Charge-focused team with Shinku as the Main DPS. Iroi provides healing and support so Shinku can safely stay on-field, build Defiant Spirit, and enter Surging Crimson more often.

Shinku
Main DPS
Core Main DPS; Chiz can replace if needed.

Hathor
Sub-DPS
Preferred for quick Remora triggers and strong personal damage; Skia is an accessible alternative.

Zero
Sub-DPS
Cycle enabler who helps keep Esper Cycles active.

Iroi
Support
Healing and offensive support; Speedy Hedgehog adds a teamwide ATK buff after her Ultimate.
Alternatives
Start with Iroi's Skill, Future Self Continuity, to heal, group enemies, and build Imagination.
Swap to Esper Zero to help set up Blossom.
Swap to Hathor to apply Remora.
Swap to Shinku to trigger Charge, build Defiant Spirit, enter Surging Crimson, and continue her damage rotation.
Repeat the rotation once Shinku's empowered state expires.
- Iroi's healing makes this team much safer during longer fights where Shinku needs extended field time.
- Hathor is the preferred Sub-DPS, while Skia is the more accessible replacement.
- Esper Zero helps keep the team's cycle engine running.
A Blossom-focused team with Nanally as the Main DPS. Iroi keeps the team healthy while Nanally deals AoE damage through Vita Pistils, with Jiuyuan and Esper Zero supporting the reaction setup.

Nanally
Main DPS
Main DPS; Mint can replace if needed.

Jiuyuan
Sub-DPS
Provides extra damage, Anima pressure, and crowd control through grouping.

Zero
Sub-DPS
Cycle enabler and Blossom reaction cornerstone.

Iroi
Support
Keeps the team healthy and maintains safer rotations during longer encounters.
Alternatives
Use Iroi and Esper Zero's Redirect Skills to trigger Blossom and create Vita Pistils.
Keep Nanally on-field to deal the majority of the team's damage with Vita Pistils' AoE DMG.
Use Jiuyuan for grouping, extra Anima pressure, and additional personal damage.
Maintain Iroi's healing and buffs to keep the rotation stable.
- This team focuses more on reaction damage and smoother team cycling.
- Jiuyuan helps streamline the reaction setup and makes it easier for Nanally to hit multiple enemies.
Skill Priority
Collaboration (Basic Attack)
Lets Iroi build Imagination through her Basic Attack chain and access charged Daydream attacks. Level it after her Ultimate, Skill, and Support Skill since she is usually played as a Support.
Bang! (Support Skill)
Useful when Iroi is swapped in through the Support Skill, as it deals Anima DMG, heals allies, and builds Imagination. It supports her loop but is less central than her Ultimate and Skill.
3.8-Billion-Year Mirage (Ultimate)
Prioritize first. It is the core of Iroi's sustain, providing continuous healing, Anima DMG with enough Imagination, and even reviving an ally in the Regression state. Her support value depends on having it available consistently.
Future Self Continuity (Skill)
Worth leveling early because it provides teamwide healing, an ATK buff, enemy grouping, and Imagination buildup in one skill. It sets up her Ultimate while stabilizing the team.
Awakening Priority
Trait: Transparent
Iroi's best general Awakening. It adds another support effect to Sympathetic Nerves, increasing allies' ATK based on her Base ATK for 20s. This fits her ATK% build perfectly and adds team damage on top of her healing.
Iterated Prisoner's Dilemma
Helps Iroi build Imagination even while off-field and increases Imagination gain efficiency. This makes her smoother to use in teams where she swaps in and out often.
Strategy: Tit for Tat
Gives Iroi added off-field damage whenever a teammate casts their Skill. Especially valuable in teams with DPS characters who rely on their Skill during rotations.
Trait: Cooperative
Improves Iroi's healing toward allies below 50% HP, making it a strong comfort option for extended fights. It is less offensive than her higher-priority Awakenings but can be prioritized earlier if the team needs survivability.
Trait: Retaliatory
Increases the ATK Ratio of Iroi's lambs while allies are in the Regression state. Useful for teams that actively use Regression, but more situational than her ATK buff, Imagination gain, and healing upgrades.
Trait: Forgiving
Improves Iroi's revive utility by giving revived characters HP, Cycle Energy, and Ultimate Energy after she uses 3.8-Billion-Year Mirage. Strong in clutch situations, but less consistent than her other support Awakenings.
How to Play
Iroi is an Anima Support who sustains the team with healing, revives, and buffs while enabling aggressive Main DPS characters to stay on-field longer. Build ATK% and Cycle Intensity, use her Skill to set up healing and Imagination, then use her Ultimate for healing or enhanced damage before swapping back to your Main DPS.
Rotations
- 1Iroi Skill → Swap to Esper Zero to set up Blossom → Swap to Hathor to apply Remora → Swap to Shinku to trigger Charge → Build Defiant Spirit → Enter Surging Crimson → Continue Shinku's damage rotation → Repeat
Tips
- After using her Redirect Skill, Iroi can stay on-field briefly to build Imagination with Basic Attacks.
- Enough Imagination empowers her Ultimate and Enhanced Skills; about 30% of the gauge is needed for the enhanced Ultimate zone.
- Hold Basic Attack to release Daydream, then follow with Lucid Dream for extra Anima damage.
- Use her Ultimate immediately when available, especially before swapping your Main DPS back in.
- Iroi does not need long field time; build the right Imagination charge, apply support, then swap out.
