Wuthering Waves Xiangli Yao Build Guide

Purpose: Use Lynae's Liberation/Outro buffs plus Mornye's Off-Tune Buildup Rate and sustain to maximize Xiangli Yao's Tune Break damage., 1. Begin as Mornye and cast three Basic Attacks into a Heavy Attack to generate Wide Field Observation Mode., 2. In this state, cast three enhanced Basic Attacks. With the third Basic Attack, animation cancel it with your Resonance Skill, followed immediately by her Resonance Liberation to generate her High Syntony Field., 3. With High Syntony Field up, quickly do a Heavy Attack and switch to Lynae via Outro., 4. As Lynae enters via her Intro, follow it up with a Resonance Skill to achieve max stacks. Then, use her Liberation to deal damage and give a team-wide buff before following it up with a Basic Attack., 5. With her Overflow full, do a Heavy Attack and charge it for 1.6s to convert all of it to Lumiflow. This will then deal damage and cause her to enter the Kaleidoscopic Parade state., 6. In this state, jump up 3 times to perform her Polychrome Leaps and generate True Color stacks., 7. With three True Color stacks, do a Mid-Air Attack to cast an enhanced attack before switching to Xiangli Yao via her Outro., 8. As Xiangli Yao enters the field, build up his Concerto and Resonance Energy with his optimal combos. Then, cast his Liberation once available to enter the Intuition state., 9. Once in the Intuition state, cast his Resonance Skill followed by a Mid-air Attack into Resonance Skill again. This will cause you to do one instance of Laws of Reigns., 10. Next, do three Basic Attacks and another instance of Resonance Skill. This is the second Laws of Reigns., 11. Once again, cast Resonance Skill followed by a Mid-air Attack into Resonance Skill to perform the third Laws of Reigns., 12. With Concerto full, switch back to Mornye via Outro., 13. Repeat until no enemies remain in the field.

Purpose: Premium Electro composition — Yinlin buffs Xiangli Yao's Electro and Liberation DMG; Shorekeeper boosts Crit stats and deepens All-type DMG for higher overall damage., 1. Shorekeeper starts the battle and charges Concerto Energy until full. When available, use her Resonance Liberation to enable her Stellarealm which buffs all Resonators' Crit Rate and Crit DMG when fully upgraded., 2. Switch to Yinlin and charge up her Forte using optimal combos. Once charged, execute a heavy attack to apply a Mark., 3. Once the Mark is applied, charge up her Concerto Energy and use her Resonance Liberation. Yinlin's Resonance Liberation should hit multiple times and deal coordinated attacks. After using her Ultimate, switch out to Xiangli Yao. Ensure Concerto Energy is full before switching to upgrade the Stellarealm., 4. Once Xiangli Yao is on-field, use his optimal combos to fully charge his Resonance Liberation. Then cast it to slow enemies and enter the Intuition state., 5. In Intuition, consume three Hypercubes by casting Laws of Reigns three times while charging Concerto Energy back up., 6. With max Concerto Energy, swap back to Shorekeeper to detonate the Stellarealm. Repeat until all enemies are defeated.

Purpose: Maximize Xiangli Yao's Resonance Liberation DMG using Jianxin's Outro buff plus Shorekeeper's support., 1. Shorekeeper starts the battle and charges Concerto Energy until the other Resonators' icons glow. Use her Resonance Liberation to enable her Stellarealm before switching out., 2. When Concerto Energy is full, switch to Jianxin and use optimal combos. Once Concerto Energy is full, switch to Xiangli Yao — he will gain a Resonance Liberation DMG buff from Jianxin's Outro., 3. On-field, use Xiangli Yao's combos to charge his Resonance Liberation, then cast it to slow enemies and enter the Intuition state., 4. In Intuition, use Laws of Reigns (Resonance Skill) three times before Intuition ends, then swap to Shorekeeper when Concerto Energy is full to perform her Intro and detonate the Stellarealm.

Purpose: Fully free-to-play composition — Xiangli Yao main damage, Yuanwu provides Thunder Wedge coordinated attacks, Baizhi offers healing., 1. Yuanwu enters first and uses his Resonance Skill, then use Normal Attacks to charge Concerto Energy while keeping enemies inside Thunder Wedge range., 2. Once Concerto Energy is full, switch to Xiangli Yao., 3. On-field, use Xiangli Yao's optimal combos to charge his Resonance Liberation, then cast it to slow enemies and enter the Intuition state., 4. In Intuition, consume Laws of Reigns (Resonance Skill) three times before Intuition ends., 5. Switch back to Yuanwu once Concerto Energy is full. If healing is needed, switch to Baizhi instead.
